Samsung Assists PSU Finance to Build a Future-Ready Training Facility for a Leading Airline Company

Gurugram, Haryana

Project Overview

When PSU Finance set out to develop a premium training facility for a leading airline, their goal was to create a workspace that maintained consistent comfort and superior air quality, even during high occupancy and smooth operations. Achieving this across multiple floors, with different room sizes and intensive usage environments, required more than a conventional HVAC setup. Therefore, the HVAC system needed to provide reliability, flexibility and easy management within a dynamic, multi-use facility.

Challenges

The Samsung Solution

Built for Better Air Quality

PSU Finance installed dedicated Treated Fresh Air (TFA) systems to maintain optimum oxygen levels and prevent bad odours throughout all floors. This system is ideal for a high-occupancy, training-focused environment.

Optimised Footprint

The strategic placement of the outdoor unit optimises valuable floor space, creating a larger usable indoor area. The extended piping length of the VRF system allows for flexible outdoor unit installation, enabling it to be situated almost anywhere, regardless of height or distance from the building. In this case, outdoor units were installed on the terrace to free up floor space.

Designed for Performance

The building was designed with a combination of ducted units for larger rooms and cassette units for smaller rooms, ensuring uniform cooling across all spaces. The system adapts seamlessly to different room sizes and layouts.

Centralised Control

Centralised control of the training facility enables independent operations across different zones, making it easy to monitor everything from one central point. This system streamlines both monitoring and maintenance across the entire facility, enabling multiple units to be managed from a single location.

Conclusion

The implementation of the Samsung HVAC solution has created a facility that maintains consistent comfort and superior indoor air quality across all floors, regardless of occupancy levels. The flexibility of the system allows different zones to operate efficiently without compromising comfort, even under varying usage conditions. From an operational perspective, centralised control has significantly simplified system management, enabling quicker response times and less maintenance effort. Additionally, the energy-efficient design helps reduce long-term operating costs, making it a sustainable option for large commercial spaces.
