Plan India is a nationally registered non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing children's rights and gender equality, thereby making a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable and excluded children and their communities. By providing millions of children and young people with access to protection, high-quality education and healthcare, a healthy environment, opportunities for livelihood, and participation in decisions that affect their lives, Plan India and its partners have enhanced their quality of life since 1979.

• Lack of efficient devices that support e-learning for students belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
• Increased dependency on multiple stakeholders for project execution
• Lack of over-the-air content push on devices
• Roadblocks in project continuity due to absence of hardware services centres 

• Students were provided with Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with 22.05cm screen size and 3 GB Ram along with 32 GB ROM  tablets to support e-learning
• A single OEM provided tabs with Knox Configure Dynamic (KCD)
• KCD pushed content over the air, providing 2 GB space on web console
• The presence of Samsung Service Centres in more than 90% pin codes in India ensured coverage even in remote locations

Plan India could now successfully execute projects across India for 2400 EWS students with the support of e-learning. Students could learn and grow in preferred local languages by the vernacular support provided on the tablets. Response latency was also decreased for hardware and software issues with Samsung as the single stakeholder to provide end-to-end solutions. This partnership with Samsung enabled Plan India in achieving their goal of teaching EWS and bridging the education gap in India.
