Battery Decline

Normally, signs of battery decline include drastic decreases in battery life and unexpected shutdowns.
Learn about unexpected device shutdowns.

- Electrochemical Decline of the Battery

These events occur after repetitive battery use, resulting in electrochemical efficiency.
High levels of decline could cause voltage drops, resulting in device shutdown to preserve the device's electrical components.

- Temporal Shutdown due to Usage Environment

An extremely cold environment may cause a greater drop in voltage.
In this case, the device might shut down temporarily to preserve its components.

Signs of Battery Decline

As battery efficiency decreases, the battery may deplete drastically or shut down,
even if the screen indicates that there is plenty of battery power left.
If you are having issues with a deteriorated battery, visit your local Samsung Service Center for advice.

This can occur in cold winter temperatures, and the frequency may increase depending on the level of deterioration.

Certain demanding apps such as gaming and camera apps may cause a drop in performance and decreased response times.
