How to turn your Samsung Smart TV on or off using the TV’s Controller buttons

Step 1. Locate the Controller Button

• Find the Controller button at the bottom of your TV's frame. It can be located at the bottom center or bottom right of the screen.

Step 2. Turn the TV On or Off

•  Press the Controller button to turn your TV on or off.
• When the TV is on, pressing the button will open the Control menu at the bottom of the screen.
• Keep pressing the button to navigate through the menu options.

Step 3. Turn Off the TV

• Navigate to Power off in the menu.
• Press and hold the Controller button to confirm.

Step 4. Use the Mobile Remote

• Navigate to Mobile Remote in the menu.
• Press and hold the Controller button to pair your mobile device as a remote.

Step 5. Use SmartThings

• You can use the SmartThings mobile remote by scanning the QR code on the screen with your phone.
