Clearing the RAM on my Mobile device

RAM (Random Access Memory) is storage used for a place to hold data. Clearing the RAM will just close and reset running apps to speed up your phone. Temporary stored data can be released and be reallocated to other applications once you have cleared the cache. You will notice improved performance on your device.



Android OS Version 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and Android OS Version 5.0 (Lollipop)

● Step 1: From the Home screen, tap the Recent Apps button.

Step 2: Tap the Task Manager icon. 



Step 3: Tap End All. 



Step 4: When a pop up message appears, tap OK. All active applications will now be cleared.

Android OS Version 4.4.2 (Kit Kat) and below

for Galaxy S3 and older

Step 1: Press and hold the Home button until the Recent applications screen appears.
