Occasionally, my device freezes or is unresponsive. How can I resolve this?

If your Galaxy S6 edge + freezes, you can perform a reboot by pressing the volume down and power buttons simultaneously for approx. 7 seconds.


If, after performing a reboot, you are still experiencing an unresponsive device, you can try some of the following actions:




1. Use the S6 edge + SMART Manager app to optimise the device and check for Malware. 


2. Create memory space by transferring files to your PC or to a cloud-based storage account (Google Drive, Dropbox etc.)


3. Check for software updates via the Settings menu (Apps>Settings>About device>Software Updates)


4. Perform a Factory data reset on your device. N.B. Please ensure that you have backed up all your files and data as the factory reset will wipe your device.
