Samsung Support: Protect your privacy during repairs with Maintenance mode Samsung Support: Protect your privacy during repairs with Maintenance mode

Maintenance mode protects your privacy while someone else is using your phone, such as when you are sending it for repairs. This new privacy feature blocks access to your data for peace of mind while it is out of sight. In Maintenance mode, your personal data, including pictures, messages, and accounts, cannot be accessed, and only preinstalled apps are available. You will need to unlock your phone to turn off Maintenance mode.

While in Maintenance mode, only the default apps will be active. While any apps downloaded in Maintenance mode will be accessible, they will be automatically deleted when Maintenance mode is deactivated.
