Can’t play some video and audio files stored in my External SD card.

The following file formats are generally supported by the relevant applications on your device.

• Music: mp3, m4a, mp4, 3gp, 3ga, wma, ogg, oga, aac, and flac

• Image: bmp, gif, jpg, and png

• Video: 3gp, mp4, avi, wmv, flv, and mkv

• Document: doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, pdf, and txt

 

First please check your SD card condition by comparing with the normal SD card.

 

 

SD card faulty:

. Your SD card cannot play in another device.

 

Device Faulty:

. Your device cannot play with the normal SD card.

First, please ensure your Android OS version is up to date.

You can check it by using Samsung Kies.

Second, run master reset on your device, 

Settings -> Back up and reset -> Factory data reset -> Reset device.

It might be the problem occured when the original data crashing with the third party applications.

 

 

If the problem still occur, please proceed to the nearest service center.
