Rated 1 out of 5 by from This phone is a backward step from the Ace 3 I had an Ace 3 which was a lovely little budget phone that fitted in my pocket. I had an S4 but it was so flipping big it was a nuisance. I thought the Ace 4 would be a progression from the 3 but it was a real step (or 6) backwards. Absolute rubbish not surprised it has been discontinued.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Storage capacity too small I liked my phone during the past 12 months but now I am facing storage issues already. So I took off Skype for the moment and deleted as many Apps as possible but still, I will have to look out for a new phone soon as also the SD card is almost full. Another completely useless feature is the screen lock on a call and it requires 2 taps on the home key to get the screen back before the call can be cleared. Still, I can recommend it for people who want a smart phone with most functions but don't require too much storage space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good phone Good phone but when ever you make or receive a call the screen goes to lock so to change to speaker or anything else you want to do you have to unlock the screen which is a right pain. other than that it works fine

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Size - Amazing Performance I bought this phone on black friday the year it came out. I absolutely love this phone. Perfect for my small hands but large enough screen. Quality in pictures, videos, and graphics are crystal clear. Very easy to learn and super quick performance. In love with this phone!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A very fickle phone It has a really nice display to look at and the performance is usually good. However, software can be laggy and often this gets exceptionally frustrating. Battery life is good and of course its removable which makes it even better. The camera can get some decent shots...but often over exposes and I would never take a photo with it in low light. It has very little stand out features and lack of a proximity sensor makes using the phone very frustrating as you have to double tap to put on speaker, or end the call. Overall I would not get this phone. Software isn't optimised and while its on android 4.4. Android 7 is coming out soon. the poor camera and performance also makes it a bad buy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Yet to find anything good This has to be the worst Samsung I've ever owned. The battery life is very poor, despite following the guide to get more life out of it, the screen lock when making a call is a pain, the volume turns its self down and sometimes off, it's very slow even though I've got very few apps on it. It's certainly making me think about sticking with Samsung for my next phone. So to sum this phone up, its useless and unreliable!!!

How It Stacks Up

Battery time is based on our own laboratory measurements, and may vary depending on factors such as device settings, usage patterns and operating conditions.

* User memory is less than the total memory due to storage of the operating system and software used to operate the phones features. Actual user memory will vary depending on the mobile phone operator and may change after software upgrades are performed.

** External Memory may be used to store media (photos, video, and music files) but not applications.

Notice to our customers - safe battery use

If your mobile phone battery is damaged, for example if it is dented, we recommend that you stop using it immediately and replace it with a Samsung genuine battery. If a damaged battery is used, this may affect performance of the battery and in some cases cause damage or injury through overheating, fire or explosion. Examples of situations in which a battery may become damaged are: use in an excessively hot environment, dropping the battery, external pressure on the battery, pet-biting, etc. We recommend that spare batteries are kept in a hard-shell case when not in use.

You should use only Samsung genuine or approved batteries that have been specifically designed for use in Samsung products. The use of incompatible batteries, cables and chargers may not be safe to use and could cause damage to the device or external damage. Please purchase Samsung-branded batteries from reputable and approved sellers to ensure the batteries are not counterfeit.
