How to find your Galaxy Watch when it is lost

If your Galaxy Watch is lost, you can locate it or protect your personal data using Galaxy Wearable, Samsung Find, or SmartThings Find. The available options and steps may vary depending on how the watch is connected and which apps are supported on your phone.

How to find your Galaxy Watch (Galaxy Wearable app)

You can use the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone to locate your Galaxy Watch. Follow the steps below to find your watch using the Galaxy Wearable app.

Note: You can locate the watch using Ring only when the phone and watch are connected via Bluetooth or a network connection such as Wi-Fi. Depending on the model, the watch may play a sound or vibrate.

1. Using the Galaxy Wearable app

Step 1. Tap the Galaxy Wearable on your phone.

Step 2. Select Find my watch.

Step 3. Select Start to make the watch emit sound or vibration.

Step 4. Follow the sound or vibration to locate the watch.

Step 5. Once you find your watch, swipe up on the Stop button to turn off the alert.

Alternatively, tap the Stop button on your phone.

2. Remotely control your Galaxy Watch

If your Galaxy Watch is lost or stolen, you can remotely lock or reset it to protect your data. This feature is available only when remote connection is enabled.

Step 1. Tap the Galaxy Wearable on your phone.

Step 2. Select Find my watch.

Step 3. Tap Set security.

Step 4. Select Lock watch or Reset watch.

Make sure Allow devices to be found and location permission are enabled for the device you want to locate.

Note: If you are signed in to your Samsung account, Allow devices to be found is enabled by default.
