I have had no issues nor problems with this SSD drive. The boot times has been faster (with some tinkering) than the normal HDD I had been accustomed to using. No overheating issues with long usage and no latency as well. In time, I may but this same drive in a larger capacity and use this current SSD as a secondary drive.

Only complaints are that there is less support for the amd platfrom and the heatsink has an untoggleable red led which is a nuisance for me but may not matter to others. Samsung magician bench tests show speeds of 7600mbps on both read and write but true tests show much less. The ssd wouldnt hit anything over 700mbps. I love samsung products but for the price I paid, I am very disappointed. It stays around 44c under load.

Make sure to install latest edition of samsung magician to benchmark and test this drive. Magician keeps it updated and running smoothly and efficiently. I installed it as my only drive on a asus tuf gaming x570-pro running windows 11 pro and using only a boot disk to install the OS did not have any problems at all. No compatibility issues at all.

990Pro nvme ssd 2Tb. Real pain to clone and install in laptop. Samsung's Magician software is UNABLE to access the ssd from a usb adaptor. It has to be mounted in a laptop but if you only have one drive slot available you CANT clone your existing drive to it! You need a bootable flash drive to run windows from, then use cloning software. Some narcissistic Korean mid level manager is saying my hassle is not a correct use case.

Super vitesse et cryptage intégré, mais malheureusement il peux poser des soucis, certe reconnu par Windows, mais pour plusieur logiciel comme pour le partitionner, ou faire des sauvegardes du disque sont inexploitable, juste la sauvegarde Windows 7 intégré à Windows 11, peut le faire, à ma connaissance. Et encore, ensuite obligé de refaire toutes les clés bitlocker, de toutes les partitions du SSD. Mais sinon de très bonnes caractéristiques, et pour moi dans un NUC intel ultra 2, aucun soucis de chaleur même sur de la génération d'IA sur une heure. 7100 Mo/s en lecture et écriture 6900 Mo/s avec cryptage matériel.

It will work with any modern CPU from the last few years as well, which is a good thing! You have pretty good storage size options depending on your budget and needs as well! I love how fast it can read and write files to and from the hard drive. I can literally transfer a 150 GB game in maybe 2 mins if not less. I really like the product and am glad I got this one. The red & black heatsink design with RBG lighting is a badads futuristic design that belongs in a pS5 or PC. Not only I have more storage, I notice its faster than the PS5's ssd internal storage.🤯 I've be playing Bo6 and Gran Turismo 7 during long game sessions I haven't notice a single stutter nor lag it. For those who are in the market for an storage upgrade for their PS5 or PC I highly recommend to choose a Samsung SDD storage over the competitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent SSD that I installed into my PlayStation 5. It has given me no trouble and it's definitely faster than the internal PS5 SSD. For me two terabytes was enough along with the 875 GB that came with the PS5. I know this will last a long time I believed I'm going out on a limb here but past the life expectancy of the PS5 most definitely.
