Hi it's my 5 samsung. The last sustained camera damage in a genuine case. The one before was dropped and the genuine case I Opened and the screen took the impact. Both replacements could easily have been avoided if your cases were better designed.

I love my new phone as it seems quicker and more responsive than my old phone, it is the first brand new phone I have had for a long time , I usually have my aunts phones but sadly she died so my husband treated me to a new one , so pleased he did it's much better as it is sim free with plenty of memory. The camera is great for me as I love taking pictures and they look brilliantly clear, colours and definitions are crystal clear, still haven't used all the different apps features on it yet, but the ones I have tried I am very impressed with it.

The quality of the screen is amazing, and the phone works just like the S range phones. The battery life is the best! The camera quality isn't the same as the S range, but it's still good quality. It's great, especially as it has OneUI not OneUI Core. But, the lack of DeX is just sad. I was expecting a little more camera quality too. The battery drain is also a little too fast for my opinion. Also, WHERES THE WIRELESS CHARGING 😭 That's such a silly thing to have removed, I really miss it and it's not like there's no space inside the phone for it. Please bring this back on the A56 🙏

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my galaxy A54 5G for around 2 weeks at this point and on the whole I’ve got to say it’s a very good phone. Before this phone I was using the galaxy s23 ultra and while the A54 will not beat the s23 ultra, it stacks up pretty well for the price point. The few things that let the phone down in my opinion is the lack of wireless charging and parts of the build quality. Don’t get me wrong considering the phone is made from plastic the feel in the hand makes you think it’s glass and aluminium, so job well done there Samsung. The phone preforms very well with regards to the camera, the 120hz screen refresh rate and overall display, all are just as comparable to the much more expensive s23 ultra. I’ve give this phone a 4 star out of 5 but if I could it’s more like a 3.5 star out of 5, mainly due to the points raised, I would recommend this phone to people who want a smart phone with some bells and whistles but not to tech enthusiasts who enjoy and live for the best tech available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quick low-down is that this midrange phone represents decent value; It performs well, has a great camera, and basically all of the features you could really want even from the flagship top-tier model, but the cost cutting measures necessary to offer it at such a price are quite obvious and make you wonder if you'd rather pay just a tiny bit extra to have a better product. Starting off with the most upsetting thing is that although the front and rear are glass, the body of the phone is plastic. This phone is already quite thick and quite heavy so I can see why a metal construction may have made it even heavier as well as more expensive but I think for the price, it wouldn't be unfair to expect metal construction. I am also disappointed by the fact that the SIM card tray on the top of the phone does not sit flush. This is how it was out of the box, and simply wont sit completely flush which is disappointing especially as this phone, although not expensive, was not "cheap". The fingerprint scanner is also a little slower than the ultrasonic sensor you get in the newer flagship models, and slower than that of what other non-underscreen fingerprint scanners can offer, but it is perfectly usable. The lack of any fast charging (25W only) might prove to be a pain for some people. Now moving onto the good bits, of which there are many! The screen is fantastic. Crystal clear, good colour reproduction, all of the usual advantages of an OLED panel; you get the idea. Its fantastic. The bezels are thicker than other phones and this is a consequence of having to use a cheaper screen assembly, and when viewing a white screen the colour can shift from warm to blue even from only small changes in angle. This isn't obviously noticeable but something you don't tend to see in some OLED panels. It has some decent power behind the scenes aswell, never really stuttering, and with the 120Hz display it feels silky smooth for basically everything I've thrown at it. The dual-firing speakers (top of the display and the bottom) make media consumption really enjoyable, and they sound great! The cameras are excellent and really do come quite close to flagship products. Of course they'll be superseded again by something infinitely better but for the moment they are truly excellent. Sharp, quick, and good colour reproduction make media capture on this a pleasure. Overall I am very happy with it. It might not be the absolute best value at this price but it is certainly very good!

When unpacking it, the first, very noticeable thing is very small box. To my suprise, this phone doesn't come with charger. So either keep your previous one or if you are new to Samsung, buy charger before your phone arrives. Quality of screen is very good. Very bright colours, no issue using phone during very bright day. Battery life is also very impressive . It can go almost 2 days without charging. Wow! That's really good! For a mid range phone you will get a lot. Would definitely recommend this smartphone.

Like the colour of the phone (lime green) camera is OK. Sound quality isn't great and there is a major issue with the Bluetooth connection.. intermediately works.. this is my 2nd A54 and same issues on both phones. Work around isn't great (phone restart everything Bluetooth won't connect) but I got fed up of going back and forth to Vodafone (5 times) to 'fix it', yeah still not fixed.... Issues with downloading curtains app, issues with playing videos, stops and need to press play again - not a Internet issue. Kinda wished I had stayed with Galaxy and upgrade to S23 instead of all this hassle.

Having been using this device since December and selling a flagship s22 to buying this to stay in the eco system I can honestly say this phone by far with fit the bill of 80% of people. The camera are amazing be it that as it's a Samsung everything is over exposed. (I don't care for cameras) the performance is top class. The battery lasts all day. Even though it takes over an hour for a full charge the battery is amazing. Guaranteed updates for 5 years. Micro SD card support. People who want a flagship phone but a flagship. If you want a phone for everyday tasks. Social media. Web browsing. Shopping. Paying using the phone. Buy this. It's performance it's fast and multi tasking is amazing.

Great phone and performance. Cameras are great and the tools in the gallery are a plus. Never countered any heating nor lags while streaming and doing live on tictok. I got this phone for a great deal at my local carrier. Im very happy with my purchase and all around glass makes this phone look just identical to s23 or s24. Front camera shoots 4k video which is great and honestly the camera doesn't disappoint like some say. I had ran couples demanding apps with few tabs open and never got the phone to heat nor freeze. Im very impressed with a54 5G and i won't be looking to upgrade anytime soon.

It's a good phone but I've had to reboot a couple of times when it's disconnected from mobile data and signal. I also don't like that the volume buttons have moved more centrally coloured to A52, it makes taking selfie harder as I only have small hands. Screen and performance are excellent

Good to used in one ui 7 but after update one ui 8 the song system is terrible by bluetooth handset and earphone. Too much terrible. Samaung a50 a 32 and tab a 8.0 2019 better than that song quality.

Phone is similar to my previous J6plus. Setup took some learing, as once all in place, occasional "update suggestions" would arrive a few days later...on topics I had no idea if needed or not. Similarly setup required me to trawl menus within menus to try and activate things or do what I thought was automatic. Hey ho. Its a good phone and works well Only problem I find is " how do you easily turn the phone off?"....its 2 key action, after reading utube, not obvious...my J6plus was 1 key and far easier As for features, design, performance, value etc, I trust Samsung has done a good job, given I am not a phone fashion person...and only change a phone after many years. Light user ie emails, messaging, web searches and the odd podcast

The camera is amazing, takes great pictures in any light including a dark room, the front camera is just as good making selfies a really enjoyable experience. The options of blured background and portrait mode give loads of opportunities for great photos of family members. The phone is easy to use and has plenty of handy shortcuts to your favourite apps. The speaker has clear output and is quite loud when put on full volume. Last but not least, the battery life! It lasts for ever and it charges fast too. The only negative I have is how slippy the texture of the phone is and having a case is essential to make sure you don't drop it straight away.

I love a big phone with a lovely large screen, and this phone delivered! The camera quality is brilliant, very precise and clear. The colour is a beautiful purply lilac and it’s so sleek and so flawless. It’s not heavy at all, as you would expect with some phones when they’re a top of the range phone. Feels really nice in the hand, not too big but then not too titchy and flimsy.

Previously, I had a Samsung S10e that was problem free for 4 YEARS. As the charging socket eventually became unreliable it was time for a change so under all the best advice available locally I chose the A54. Android had developed slightly since my previous phone came out but not really for the better in my opinion. You have to choose between different types of text services now, Samsung, Google, etc, and having changed nothing myself, so assuming it would work as before, I have been left with an inferior text service. Various apps don't work properly also. I didnt find the data transfer to the new phone all that effective. The screenshot function is awkward too as it is all one sided, obviously it was easier when two sided so who knows why they would change that.

After an update I continually get a moisture/debris usb warning that stops me charging it and with no wireless charging it is becoming a problem clearing usb cache, restarting etc. Lack of headphone slot is also a bit of a pain. Generally the phone is ok, not as good as the s9 o had previously. Camera is underwhelming. Wish I had gone for a different phone. I do love Samsung and have had their phones for 10 years, but am starting to think a change would be good. On the plus side it was fairly inexpensive.

The phone is a lovely colour. I was very disappointed to discover that it did not come with earphones and a charger and the fact that this had not been made clear on the website. Samsung have been absolutely useless in helping me, each department just fobs you off to another. Still haven't had my cashback yet either. The phone is already not as good as my old Huawei and feels as though it will only last a short amount of time before I have to buy another (which it's safe to say will not be a Samsung!)

At first I was really pleased with this device. Then during calls at random it would just end calls. So frustrating. Then the charging port moisture alert was a constant problem. Conveniently occurring 1 week after the 12 month warranty expired. Terrible phone and now unusable. Waste of money. Always been a samsung user. No more thank you. Samsung, you've let me down at a time of bereavement and when I need my phone the most. Good riddance.

Since getting the new device I have to say I'm really disappointed and need to return it to the shop. It doesn't charge properly with the brand new charger, I even bought a new plug. There seems to be a bug as I keep getting a moisture detected notification which comes on and off when it feels like it. I've tried all the things online, the phone has been no where near any water. And when the notification goes, it still won't charge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone as a so called (downgrade) from my current phone as the specs were not meant to be as good. However this phone is amazing. The price is excellent a high competitor for some of the cheaper phones out there but with all the power to do what you want. The battery life is very good it lasts a full day without me having to charge and that's when I have been scrolling up and down on social media and watching videos all day. It's easy to use and fast charges and is a stunning design. My favourite part about this phone is how smoothly you can flick through images and look online. The camera seems slightly duller than my previous phone which is a shame but with a light edit this can be fixed. Overall I am very happy with my phone I'd say the only let down is that it doesn't seem to wireless charge which is a shame when I'm in my car.

I looked at Samsung years ago and deciding their version of Android sucked. So, it was interesting to see how far it's come when looking for a new dual-SIM/eSIM/5G phone. I'm absolutely stoked at how good and fast the A54 is. It really is the best smartphone I've ever had, and at a realistic price. (I made the mistake of buying an expensive replacement iPhone years back that lasted 4 months and no warranty provided by Apple. Have avoided expensive phones ever since.) With the A54 I'm no longer waiting for the phone to catchup to me. It's there and working at my pace. The UI is super crisp, the phone is robust, camera is certainly good enough, and biometric scanner works fast. The battery life is more than good enough, the signal reception is excellent, GPS reception also excellent for navigating those narrow European city streets. Highly recommend.

Lovely phone no complaints about its operation - the only issues I had with it (and with A52 and A51)was that the charging ports did not work well after a few months. In each case it seems that they for some reason attracted more dirt than I have known in other phones. So it is a pain cleaning them - with the A54 I am finding that the advertised super fast charging does not work and sometimes it does not even fast charge

I've had apple phones for years and I finally decided to make the switch to android to see what I thought and I'm so glad I did! I love this phone, the screen is really big which I love, the storage is amazing I never run out, and the battery life lasts for ages. I love the purple colour I chose and the sound quality is the best I've ever had on a phone! Overall I can't stop raving about how pleased I am about this phone!

Overall im pleased with the phone. Easy to use and a good size. The main problem i am having is the stupid moisture detected warning which stops it charging. It is hit and miss whether or not it will charge. It even comes on when i unplug it after it has charged. This, and the fact it doesnt have wireless charging, is a majot issue. I always have to have a second phone on standby for when it doesnt charge.

It's quite absurd that there was not a plug and a USB to USB C charging cable. What is the point of a USB C to USB C cable? Ridiculous that Samsung does not include a charger included in the very expensive device that it sells. Also, 1 star for removing the earphone jack. All my previous cable earphones are now redundant, and Samsung didn't even include a set of earphones to go with the device. Shambles.

I'll keep this simple and objective to help the reader ... + pros, Good sized bright screen, crisp and clear. Reasonable battery for 1-2 day life. Good customisation & useful apps. Takes reasonable clear photos in good daylight. Bloatware mostly removable. Modern S series design and colour range. - Cons, A little large and heavy for some. Some stuttering at times with multiple apps open. Photos can be very oversaturated at times. Photos (again) poor HDR /shadow white balance. Notifications have a mind of their own. Overall a reasonable midrange device with a moderately good camera, great screen and the usual Samsung/ google suite. Maybe a little heavy and unwieldy for some if you have small hands and prefer lighter more pocket friendly mobiles. A promise of 4 years worth of updates should see you through if you can forgive the camera phone over saturation and occasional bit of stutter.

Nice phone good picture/screen quality but battery is horrid. Lucky if it lasts a couple of hours and that's only checking weather and emails. (Only last 2 days without a sim in it). Not good for anything like gaming or browsing the net etc. Need to carry around a power pack to keep it charged. Not worth the cost for the battery issues. Solve those and it would be a fantastic phone.

It takes screenshot without touching the phone, Often switches off WiFi, alters display from light to dark, mutes without my doing anything and plenty of other things. It can even move a photo to WhatsApp and send it whilst on the table. A true shocker. By the way I've had it 16 months, much more than you think

OTG is also not supported, which I find very disappointing as I used to back up to a local device (never trust the cloud). I now wish I never traded my S10+5G in for this model. When i first received my A54 i was not happy with the performance but i found that it was not the phone it was due to the shop that transferred my data across to it. I set it back to factory settings and did my own transfer since then could not be happier with it. Its ok bit disappointed my Wife's phone seems to have better camera better signal more apps built in and it was a lot cheaper than mine but guess I am paying mainly for the name SAMSUNG but like I said its a ok phone mine is not top of the range and if I did not compare it to my wife's phone its reliable well built and good looking would I recommend yes probably would .

The phone has many great features- the camera is particularly good. But it's so slow to turn on- optimising apps and such- that I no longer ever turn it off! I just switch to flight mode for flights, and Do Not Disturb otherwise. Updates also take forever, and it has an annoying habit of installing apps and features I don't want, and have to uninstall later.

The phone is nice, nothing special, but good value for money. Unfortunately, mine turns itself off randomly, during phone calls, in my pocket, sat on a desk. Samsung's customer aftercare is pretty pathetic and the best they can offer is 7working days for a possible repair. So, if you're looking for a reliable product you can just use, maybe look elsewhere.

Samsung are my favourite, and I love the colour. However, I do not like the wobble instead of the vibrate I've had on all the others. Worse, the camera (3 lenses instead of the 5 spread) means that the phone never stays in one place, it is always slipping and sliding, even if you put it onto thinks like a blanket, meaning I've already cracked the case.

I LOVE MY NEW Samsung A54! It has replaced my A12 and its functions are very similar to my daughter's S23, given its price. Love the screen which is very responsive and apps open and run fast and smoothe. Battery life is great too especially as I'm always out and about, listening to music on the go whilst taking photos (oh yeah very decent quality pics)

I've still got a lot to learn about the Samsung A54 and so far I'm happy with the phone. I get a much better signal to the phone and the sound quality is much better than my old phone which wasn't a Samsung. The camera takes great photos. The charging of the battery is quick which I find convenient Overall the phone suits my needs

In fact it is about the same battery life as the Huawai was when I changed it. Best A24 Samsung galaxy phone going after my old Samsung galaxy packed up as I can not turn the old one on to transfer any pictures and contacts lucky I found pictures and lucky my contacts where on my sim. It is quite heavy to hold! Very fluid writing but that still feels weird, looking at the suggested text. Makes me feel slightly seasick. Have switched off the stuff about usage: irrelevant statistics as I still sometimes use my old Galaxy A7 (2018). Was shocked when I used Chat to ask how to achieve é etc, which was not working if I just held the key and selected from the box (as in the old A7). The expert didn't have a clue. I didn't give remote access. Instead I resolved it by asking a lad who had arrived for his music lesson....worked it out in less than 30 seconds. My old A7 has the camera lenses protected within the case, whereas the A54 has them protruding. My old camera seems to manage a more sympathetic reading of light. The A54 is perhaps better for details. All in all, I am not convinced that these are really "improvements" but I had to change phones ONLY because Samsung ceased to update the software and the version of Android was stuck at 10.

I really like the new phone since the cameras are fantastic and I find it very easy to navigate. The only downside is that if you had a previous samsung account and it wasn't deleted then you can't reuse the same email address. I switched up from an A52s , so there are a number of improvements. First the design , beautiful gorilla glass , front and back. Camera is so much better than my old phone. Beautiful 120hz screen , lovely to watch. The only thing I don't like is the processor, not bad , but not really faster than my old phone.

It's a nice phone, works great. I got it as a replacement for my A52S. It's heavier than the A52, also slightly faster to operate. Otherwise not many changes. However I find the battery life which was meant to be longer, seems to run out just the same. I've tried changing settings but it still runs out fast

It's a lovely looking phone which I chose because I can put an SD card in to store my photos. It is like a bar of wet soap though, I drop ut or it slips off surfaces and falls on the floor several times a day. Miracle it isn't broken yet. Going to have to buy a case and hide its good looks to protect it

Actually a really good phone. The fact the water symbol comes up everytime I charge Is extremely annoying. I haven't had this problem with any other phone. Since purchasing an official Samsung charger it hasn't done it, is this their way of making you buy their products and not cheaper alternatives?

I am happy with my new Galaxy A54 5G, it does everything I require of a mobile phone, The display and performance are good but I am really pleased with the camera which is very good. The only small issue I have is the time the battery charge lasts but that is an issue with most devices these days.

It's a good phone, love Samsung but I have issues with the camera as when I click the snap picture button it doesn't always register so I might end up missing the moment. That is my only complaint however, I love my A54 just wish I got a different colour. Will do me until I can afford the S23 U.
