Best phone ever!! I love it because it’s so easy to take pictures and be creative. This is my second one, and the 8 is even better. I recommend it to anyone who needs a practical tool to let their creativity flow. Also, the fact that it’s a flip phone makes it easy to carry and gives me a bit of a nostalgic feeling.

I have had the samsung flip 4, flip 6 and just upgraded to flip 8. I have loved all of them. The samsung flip 8 is thinner and the display is really sharp. Although I have not had much time with it, I am enjoying it so far. There does seem to be a few bugs I am having to work out which I have never experienced before. I am not very good with technology so it is taking me some time with the help of AI. The phone shows that it is off line sometimes and the airplane mode comes on. That has been frustrating. All in all, I hope to work out the bugs and enjoy this phone as much as my previous flip phones.

Love it! This is my 4th Z Flip the size is perfect for pockets, the main screen is protected by the clam fold it's lighter, the hinge is smoother, the "crease" is almost non existent! Colours are better this year too. Linked to all my other devices seamlessly especially my Mini! Battery also lasting longer, always use battery protection so never charge beyond 85% you can now choose your protection level also. Much more responsive and love the prompt features and AI spam alerts. It feels slimmer but still durable and substantial. You won't be disappointed!

I love my new z flip8. I had the z flip 4 for 3 years..then switched to the s25 for barely a month until I went back to a zflip8! I love all the features and how compact and customizable it is when it's closed too.

I just wanted a flip phone after look on reviews of the 7 then the 8 came out so i just pulled the trigger. Overall its just an flip 7 upgraded for this year My only major complaints are the slow charging speeds considering the new battery tech as well as the phone generates alot of heat when charging, playing games and taking video. The front screen is nice just to check what to ignore and what to open the phone for. Although i wish it could rotate the screen. Even with all of that I've been enjoying the phone for the purpose i bought it which is to use my phone less. If you're considering purchasing this phone first ask yourself why then try and get it at a discount via trade in or promo because i just got mine for less then 1k after trading in my s23

I'm absolutely in love with the new pink Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8! The colour is stunning it's stylish, modern, and definitely stands out. The foldable design is so convenient, you cannot see the flit screen ince opened showing 0 crese! Its that smooth. Flipping makes traveling easier as it fits easily into my pocket or handbag while still opening up to a gorgeous ful -sized display. The camera quality is fantastic, the battery easily lasts me through the day and everything runs so smoothly. I also love how customisable it is, especially being able to personalise the cover screen to make it feel unique. It pairs perfectly with my Samsung devices, making everyday tasks so much easier. Samsung has really outdone themselves with the Galaxy Z Flip8 it's easily my favourite phone I've owned.

Ok, so I have gone from flip 6 to 7, and now 8. I really like the flip. It's a good form factor in my pocket. This one is only a slight upgrade, though. Camera etc are much the same. The more powerful chip is noticeable when in use. My biggest issue is battery. It didn't need to be slimmer and lighter, because it was already a compact size. It needed a bigger capacity battery, that doesn't run so hot. This thing gets insanely hot if, say, you are running android auto with sat nav going. To the point where the phone shuts down. Not good, during a long car journey to somewhere you don't know. So, this has not changed from the 7. I was hoping it would. Everything else is good.

Bought this for my partner and she friggin loved this one over IOS and the color was absolutely to the matching. Display is very responsive and feels very durable in hand like it doesnt seem like its gon break or summ if u drop it accidentally. Battery like is way better than normally sold devices in this price range. Hinges feel absolutely premium on this.

I had a flip 5 before this, and the sturdiness of this one is WAY better. It's lighter, thinner, yet feels more stable! The hinge was never a problem on my 5, and it seems to be even smoother on this one, and no screen creased yet, although, that never really bothered me anyway. I have recently discovered "Bixby" as well. I always knew it was a thing on my old phone, but never used it, as I thought, well, if I have Google, why do I need Bixby?? It is SO GOOD! Now I can send a WhatsApp, or add to my notes, see the status of my washing machine etc, all without typing a thing! All in all, I love it, thanks!

The phone is extremely compact when closed, but opens up to a surprisingly large, lightweight display that feels great to hold. The outer screen handles all my daily essentials without needing to open the device. With an incredible camera and a battery that easily lasts all day, it’s been fantastic to use.

Excellent battery life compared with Z Flip6. Crease has never bothered me on any Flip or Fold, but it is noticeably better than the Flip6, even after several folds. I do not open and close any Flip or Fold a lot, so that is never concerning. Especially with how much these displays have improved. I no longer worry at all about these screens and have been using only Samsung folding phones since the Z Flip1. That means, I do not think it is going to randomly stop under normal usage with good, mindful care for the inner screen. It still requires more attention, but it is no longer something one has to pay SO much attention to. Rather, just use the device as a tool, like any other phone and be surprised with how long it can actually last.

After upgrading from a Flip to a Fold to last year the Samsung Galaxy Z flip8 is a much welcomed return to functional flip phones - no gimmicks. The full back display and cameras being on the same surface allows for photography moments that no other smartphone series does. The Z Flip8 feels lighter and yet more durable than it's predecessors and after double checking right now... The main screen 'crease' is nowhere to be seen. The only place where the phone feels lacking is it's battery performance. It's not bad by any means but is also nothing to write home about and will need a charge before the day is up as well as overnight. Genuinely a fun and functional flip phone - would recommend!

I recently upgraded from the Motorola RAZR plus 2024 and I've got to say, while having a similar look and feel, the overall experience is mind boggingly different. From the extra half centimetre of width to the customization, cohesiveness and ease of the Samsung family. Truly a beautiful product inside and out. The camera is amazing, the display feels ingrained and like that of a regular no flip phone. I can't attest to the durability as it is protected like fort Knox on a bad day. Battery is ok from what I've experienced so far but I assume it will get better as it learns my usage patterns.

so I had the flip 4 and went back to tablet phone (s25+) to see how i would get on. needless to say I went back to the zflip 8 and, so far, I love it. easy to use main screen and great screen on front which can do so much and I'm still learning! the main screen is very responsive and battery life seems good although I'm still to test properly . the feel of the phone is so much better than the flip 4 and s25plus, much thinner than both of these making it unobtrusive when in pocket . hope the durability of the hinge has improved as this was the only thing that let me down on the 4 version. quality of pictures and videos are great for a phone. so far so good and so glad I switched back to a flip.

The new samsung galaxy flip 8 changes how the flips feel, much smaller hinge making it bearly visible, the durability is solid compared to the older flips, battery might be a bit smaller but don't let that fool you your phone will last you more than a full day, over all im really happy with the flip 8 and do recommend!

I absolutely love my pink Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8! The 512GB storage is brilliant, the battery lasts me all day, and the display is honestly out of this world. The front cover screen is so impressive—I can check notifications and use different features without even opening the phone! It’s incredibly fast, responsive and smart. The AI features are amazing, and having Gemini, Bixby and Google makes everything so quick and easy. It feels really durable, and the hinge is smooth and sturdy. People are always shocked when they see me flip it open—it’s such a showstopper! The pink colour is gorgeous, and the whole phone is so pretty and Y2K. It’s perfect for a girly-girl like me. This phone is hard to open and the pink square on the back of the front screen looks a bit cheap and tacky. It also has a CE mark and symbol not to bin it on it too. The rest is a gorgeous colour. Bit disappointed really.

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago and overall its been a pleasure. It is very light and probable which is why I purchased it however the camera is quite poor as the zooming is limited (coming from a s25 ultra) this was a big change. Also I feel the corners of the display have a sort of crunchy paper feel at times, perhaps this is normal for a folding phone but its a bit unsettling. Overall I'd still rate it a 8/10

So far so good, only had it for a few days and I'm loving how long the battery lasts... Only thing during the initial setup, I had to search how to bypass the SIM activation, since with my Carrier you can't transfer the ESIM, you need to download their app and upload a new ESIM there. I'm really hoping the factory screen protector doesn't fail within the first year like my Flip 5 did... Loving the feel and operation of the phone so far, I'm coming from the Google Pixel 9 pro XL, which has the better camera... Yeah, I wish the Flip 8 had a better camera by now.

So happy I upgraded from the Flip5 to the Flip8. You can do so much more on the front screen now that I rarely have to open it unless I'm watching something on YouTube or Insta. Slightly thinner too which is great, I love how it fits in women's tiny pant pockets and all of my purses. With the trade-in and pre-order discount the price it was actually cheaper than the 7.

I love the hinge on the flip 8, it is much more rugged and durable than the previous generation. The display is crisp and clean, the phone is very responsive and fast. It is noticeable faster than my fold 7 ultra. So far the battery lasts a full day. I am very pleased with the purchase of this phone.

the most surprising thing is that it’s really light! i think i would have to get used to how long the display is, and it feels a bit less sturdy than an IPhone, but i really like how compact and small it is. the small outside screen is really cool and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it. The hinge seems sturdy and you cannot see a crease in the screen at all. I thought the crease would be more prominent and i would hope it stays clear over time. Not sure how the battery is, but if it lasts longer than an iphone, that’s great!

Upgraded from a lavender flip 5. On a user side, not many noticeable changes for my day to day use, but I really love the new external screen size; it makes the phone more practical to use, and is more like I was envisioning when the clamshell style was first announced. One difference I wasn’t really expecting is the change in material of the coloured panel at the back. The flip 5 is a glossy glass, while the new flip 8 appears matte. I did have issues with scratching on my previous phone, so I'm hoping this will hold up better.

I’ve been a fan of the Galaxy zFlip series for a while, I have bought a zflip5 in 2024, and I’m really enjoying my new Z Flip8. I love the compact foldable design because it fits easily in my pocket, while still giving me a full-sized screen when I open it. The phone feels smooth and premium, and the cover screen is really convenient for quickly checking notifications without opening the phone. I’m also impressed with the camera and battery life so far. I have my flip 8 since about 15 days now. It has been an amazing experience so far, the color is beautiful, the feeling of the phone is quite unbelievable, it is so thin. No complains about how responsive it is, the battery is really good. I could go all day long without charging it a d I do watch a fair amount of videos. The front screen is super useful, my wife was mind-blown by it lol. I guess I wish there were good options for cases to make sure you protect it without losing the feeling of how thin it is. The crease is not noticeable at all. As a matter of fact, the crease was non existant whem I unboxed it, you can see the pictures. Nothing really on Samsung's design. This is my first flip in a long long time and I have no negative things to say. Amazing job Samsung 👏 👏👏

Samsung have done very well with the ZFlip 8. I purchased the original Samsung flip and it had some faults with the screen due to the fold. Went to a standard phone but recently purchased the Zflip 8 and I can see the difference in quality. Samsung has developed & enhanced everything to produce an amazing phone with the interactive front screen and so many features. I am loving having the flip again. It's compact, easy to use with vibrant screens and so many many features. Well done Samsung. Customer for life!

It's a joy for media consumption. ​Camera: The camera quality has improved a lot compared to previous generations—crisp details and great colors. ​Hinge & Durability: The hinge damping feels exceptional; opening and closing is sturdy, smooth, and solid, giving a great sense of build durability. ​Responsiveness: The system is lightning-fast and highly responsive, with silky smooth scrolling and transitions. ​Battery: With regular-to-heavy use, it needs to be charged twice a day, so keeping a charger handy is recommended.

Upgraded from a flip 6, I would struggle to go back to a 'regular' now. I love that the smaller screen has so much more use on the flip8. I've never had any issues with the creases in either of my flips. Once you have a good case on it, there shouldn't be any reason why it should break or get damaged! I have marked it down a star as it does feel a lot bigger than the flip 6, my personal preference is for it to feel more compact. Whilst it is thinner, it does feel a lot wider, especially with a case on.

Absolutely love my new phone. It's so cute and pocket sized aswell as really customisable from the cover screen to the apps. Battery is great and the screen is seamless, no crease hardly at all. I do wish there was a better camera on this model but it's still pretty good and takes nice photos. I've had the flip 6 aswell and with both of these phones ive never had an issue with the hinge or responsiveness. The durability is pretty good as I've dropped it a few times and it's never stopped working on me.

I upgraded from a Flip 6 to a Flip 8 about a week ago and completely love my new phone. Setup was effortless. My apps and data transferred from my old to new phone perfectly. Everything works exactly as it should. The slightly larger phone still fits easily in my purse or pocket. Photos are crisp and clear. I am really enjoying the expansion of functionality that is now available via the front screen, I can't think of a downside and having used it for a week, I would absolutely buy this phone again.

I have had samsung phones from the beginning and always been so happy with them. Over the years there battery have got better. Now I have to use my phone at work I was over the moon when they brought out the flip phone. I can not fault them and now with the 8 it is even better, you can not feel or see the crease which has never bothered me anyway. Samsung really nailed it with the Galaxy Z Flip 8. The battery life is solid and easily keeps up with everyday use, the display is absolutely gorgeous with sharp colors and smooth performance, and the overall durability feels much more refined and reliable. The hinge is also excellent—smooth, sturdy, and feels very well built. Overall, Samsung has done an amazing job with the Flip 8. This is my fourth Flip phone. It arrived yesterday and I've been delighted with this iteration. The battery life is excellent and I'm impressed with the new crease hinge. It appears to be even more flexible. It has improved responsiveness which is delightful. Overall I'm delighted with my new Flip 8 and I've recommended it to several friends and family as their contract have expired. Long live the Flip phone as it fits perfectly into each of my handbags and is amazing fit in a pocket.

You cannot tell me otherwise that this isn't the perfect phone. After several iterations this is the peak of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8. Everything is convenient, comfortable and so customisable. There are just so many features and benefits of this form factor. Just from quickly changing my music or making payments. Each time I use my phone I can feel the envy from others around me. Especially when I show off that the cover screen while taking photos and they can see themselves.

Aesthetically pleasing phone and very functional - quick and responsive phone that can do everything you need - take your own selfies and keep the phone folded or open into a 6.9” full phone. 1tb storage upgrade would be great but maybe next year - 512gb will have to do for now. With a colour selection that is good I’ll stick to graphite. Battery life is excellent ! The fold seems very stable and opening the phone 100 times a day for five years is said not to damage the phone.

It's a phone with all the standard phone features but by far the best thing about this phone is the fact that it can fold up into a smaller size resulting in a less bulky item in your pocket or bag. The front screen that you can see when the phone is folded means you don't have to unfold the phone to access various apps and messages. This is super convenient. I'm still relatively new with the phone and I'm discovering really cool features every couple of days. Would recommend.

Ive been using the galaxy z FLIP 8 for a few weeks now, im impressed. Coming for a 6 and now to the 8 the clunky previous design has had a much needed up grade. Its sleek, the front screen is larger making it more accessible and allows improved app usage. Much more practical and fun to use, and genuinely the upgrade was needed. The camera quality hasn't changed which would be my only downfall for such an expensive device.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is a really impressive phone, especially if you want something different from a normal smartphone. Its foldable design makes it compact in your pocket, while the 6.9-inch main display is bright, smooth and great for watching videos or scrolling. Performance is also excellent, and the 4,300mAh battery is a noticeable improvement for everyday use. (Samsung it) However, it isn’t perfect. The cameras are good, but the ultra-wide camera isn’t as strong as what you’d get on Samsung’s top non-folding phones. The biggest issue is probably the price, especially because the upgrades over the Z Flip 7 aren’t huge. (Popular Mechanics) Overall, I’d recommend the Z Flip 8 to someone who really wants a stylish, compact foldable. But if you already own a recent Z Flip, upgrading probably isn’t necessary.

This is my first flip phone and I'm really impressed and happy that I traded in my S24 to get it. The ease of use, the way it snugly fits in both my hand and pocket is a real pleasure added to this, It's weight is minimal. I like the two taps to wake it up while folded, and the way it opens up to a 6.9 onch screen. The sharp display and zoom functions of the camera I also find impressive. The extra security features and responsive screen, the ability to add extra memory for more intense app usage are great functions to have too. The hinge mechanism on my Galaxy Z flip 8 also feels durable and well constructed. The battery lasts me a full day at moderate usage and charges at 25w, which is fine for my usage. There are still more features for me to discover over the coming days and yet this phone is now my new favorite device.

The pictures quality is very good. It's very sleek and appears to be adaptable to unisex. In fact, it seem more feminine in both looks and handling as it looks like portable female face enhancement kit when handling it. The outer screen is wide enough and makes the display more readable unlike previous versions. When unfolded, the inner screen is wider than the previous versions and gives more space to do work.. It does not show any wrinkles when unfolded The execution speed is good for me as I used it mostly for my office jobs. It has long operation times after changing which means that the battery is good. There is no noticeable line of fold on the screen when unfolded. The hinge support easy flipping when unfolding. The phone appears durable like other Samsung brands However, it does not support stylus Pen as did my Fold 4

I upgraded to the Flip8 from the Flip3 and I must say, the experience is worth it. The 8 is lighter, wider, crisper and has a much more seamless folding bezel with a satisfying, audible and soft close. Aside from the obvious benefits to upgrading from an older generation (battery life, bigger and better quality display), the flip8 feels like a more thought-out, premium device, as the hardware no longer has the tempered glass that made the flip3 feel slippery and fragile, and has a vastly improved IP rating of IP48, where the 3's IPX8 rating meant the screen is now lost to peeling from the protective film and scratches. The fold crease is also much more subtle. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice, and look forward to properly saying goodbye to the 3 once retailers start selling Flip8 cases and the screen protector comes back in stock!

Larger battery than the 6 giving a longer time between charges. Noticably less of a crease than on the 6 .Flex window now more usable than before with more apps that can be used on it. Which should mean less opening to full size to check notices therefore improving the durability of the hinge. Have so far found both main & flex screens give a real feeling of responsiveness. Have added flex window protector & a case to keep my flip 8 safely.

I love my new flip 8. I previously had the flip 7 and have had a flip since the flip 3 . The flip 8 is thinner , lighter and has more options on the cover screen than the flip 7. I find that the crease is even less noticiable and the hinge seems nice and tight. The display is crisp and i love the AI wallpaper options as i can just describe the pic i want and it appears! I am sure i will find more things i love about this phone. The main reason i love a samsung flip phone is because you can easily slip it in a pocket or a small handbag. I have only had it for two days so cant really say much about the durability of this particular model but having had 3 previous models i can say that i usually upgrade after 2 years( though i only had the flip 7 for a year ) my phones are always still in great condition and working perfectly well after 2 years.

I have been looking at buying the flip model for some time and finally bought the z flip 8. It was delivered within 2 days and I certainly don't regret my decision. It's was so easy to set up and transfer data from my old phone. The battery is amazing and the spec of the phone is fantastic. I love the AI functions available. The phone itself is very stylish and have many comments about how good it looks. Would highly recommend.

What an amazing device! It's portable, incredibly easy to use, and has the best selfie camera I've ever tried. This phone genuinely makes tech fun again. Because it's so compact and durable, you don't have to worry about constantly babying it. I work a dusty job and was worried my dirty hands would mess up the inner screen, but it has held up amazingly well. Plus, the battery life is awesome and easily lasts me the entire day.

Display/screen are much improved, hinge is less obvious, size is slightly wider but good, weight is lighter so makes it comfortable to hold in the hand, camera is great, battery lasts longer, display is good, very pleased with the overall improvements, as a longtime user of Samsung and their products, a considered price purchase for an upgrade or switch to a new make but can highly recommend. 5* keep up the good work Samsung

I pre-ordered it and been using it for about a week. My previous one was Flip 6, compare to my old one, I would say there's been a major upgrade. Especially for the cover screen. It's now the entire face which I really like it. It became significantly thinner as well and lighter. The crease, I believe is less visible and doesn't really bother much, although I need to see how long it last. Overall I'm very satisfied with it.

Bought this a bit more than a week ago. Already had a flip previously (z flip 6) and i really see a difference in smoothness of the system aswell as the overall hinge fold and crease looking even more minimal. Phone is surprisingly slimmer but supposedly still as sturdy as previous ones. I will say battery life doesn't seem "incredible" its really good and last me the whole day but i did wish for it to have improved more as compared to my older phone, theres no big remarkable difference. Night Camera really seemed to have improved which im really happy about. Day 3 of using my phone i had it plugged while using it and a pop up message of the phone being too hot did come which had me surprised but nothing more than that. A week in i did come through some small lags of system slow down but nothing persistent. I love the flip because of the size convenience so i am still happy with the purchase, though i do hope the lag i got wont mean anything later on.
