Easy sharing? Quick Share lets you send files in a snap

If you’ve captured an epic photo or have an important file, Quick Share lets you connect and share with ease with the people around you. Instantly send all sizes of files to multiple people at a time with no Wi-Fi or cellular data required. Sharing files has never been easier on Galaxy.

How to Quick Share

1. Select and long-press the file you want to share, then tap ‘Share.’

 

2. Tap the 'Quick Share' icon.

 

3. Select the devices to share files with.

 

4. A notification will appear on the receiving device. Tap ‘Accept’ to download the file safely.

How to receive files via Quick Share

1. Pull down the panel, and tap  the 'Quick Share' icon to turn on sharing.

 

2. Long-press the 'Quick Share' icon , then select whether to share

with ‘Contacts only’ or ‘Everyone.’

 

* Quick Share is available on Galaxy series with Android 10 and One UI 2.1 or higher.

Confidential? Private Share keeps what’s private, private.

There’s no need to be concerned about sharing personal photos, messages or files when you use Private Share. It encrypts your files so you can set and revoke permissions, prevent recipients from resharing, and set time limits too.

Now it’s easier than ever to stay in control of your private data.

How to send a private file using Private Share

1. Select and long-press the file you want to send, then tap the ‘Share’ icon.

 

2. Tap the 'Private Share' icon on the left-bottom corner.

 

3. Tap the 'Gear' icon on the top-right corner to adjust

the time limit or expiration date for your file on ‘Expiration date’. Tap

‘Done’ when you’re finished.

 

4. Tap the 'Back' icon to go back to the previous step. Then, select the

recipient and tap ‘Send’.

 

5. After sending the files, you can keep track of files or revoke

permissions at anytime.

* The sender can pick up to 5 people to send the file to.
* The recipient must have installed Private Share. The sender can choose how to invite them by sending using SMS, QR codes, or in other ways.
* Private Share is supported on Galaxy phone and Tablet that have released as Android O OS and currently P OS or higher.
* Shareable types of files: Image (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .webp), Video (.webm, .mp4, .3gp, .mkv), Audio (.mp3, .wav, .ogg, .m4a), Text (.txt)
