Galaxy Tab S9 I Tab S9+ I Tab S9 Ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the Samsung Tab A for a number of years so wanted to upgrade for a newer model. I'm really pleased with this Samsung Tab S9. It is so lightweight and set up is so easy. It picked up my Samsung device so I could transfer everything over which saves having to use a connecting device. I mainly use my tablet for checking and sending e-mails, surfing the web, and watching films. I've found this new Tab S9 to be quick and so far no buffering. The S pen is a nice touch for writing to. It's magnetic, so you can attach it to the tablet. The picture quality is sharp and a big bonus is that it is dust resistant and water resistant (IP68). The screen size is 11 inches, so it's better for me when I'm watching films compared to 10 inches (Samsung Tab A). Sound quality is spot on thanks to the great speakers. The only down side is the charger it comes with doesn't have a plug. Luckily I have one from my other Samsung devices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tablet is truly incredible, a powerhouse of productivity and entertainment. Even before opening the box, I was struck by how slim and lightweight it felt - upon opening...wow. The Tab S9 is incredibly slim, looks incredible, and feels great in the hand. The 11" 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is beautiful in all conditions, and is great for watching HDR content with deep blacks and incredibly vibrant colours. This is similar on the larger S9+ and S9 Ultra models. I opted for the 5G model, and was able to scan the eSIM of my provider during setup for easy access to 5G networking, which gets great speeds. As a regular Android user, all of my settings etc were effortlessly transferred during the setup process, and it was easy to get up and running with all the usual apps. One feature I particularly like is linking the phone and messaging apps to my phone, allowing calls and messages to be taken on either device depending on what is to hand. Multi-tasking is supported natively in OneUI, with picture-in-picture and side-by-side modes available. I've found it really handy to use the S-Pen to annotate and make notes on manuals and documents for work and university. DEX mode is also available, which allows a more desktop-like experience when working with a mouse and keyboard, either on the beautiful AMOLED, an external display, or both. Performance is phenomenal thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 8GB of RAM. Even when combining demanding gaming with other background tasks, the tablet never shows any signs of slowing. I got 256GB of storage (128GB also available) and there's a microSD slot supporting up to an additional 1TB if required. With an Armor Aluminium casing, the Tab S9 can stand up to the bumps and scrapes of day-to-day life while still feeling lightweight and great in the hand. The IP68 rating on both tablet and S Pen means they've shrugged off rain and splashes, and should be able to handle a dunk if the worst happens! I chose to supplement this with a rugged case and screen protector, and Samsung offers a selection of accessories to help get the most out of the tablet, including Keyboard cases, privacy screens, and ruggedized outdoor cases. In summary, I was expecting a lot of this tablet, and have been blown away at every turn. It really is the ideal device for almost every situation, whether its working hard, wiling away a long journey with some Netflix, or just scrolling social media before bed.

I was concerned it wouldn't be much of an improvement on my previous Samsung Tab S7+ especially at the premium price but I'm glad I upgraded. I made the decision to go for the smaller 11inch S9 over my previous 12.4" S7+ as I wanted a lighter, more usable tablet and have to say I'm very impressed with how vibrant the display is with crisp, clear colours and good depth to the blacks. I certainly don't notice any issue with it being slightly smaller. I've not put the damage resistant glass or splash proofing to the test yet but am comforted to know it has them. The 12GB of RAM and increased CPU speed mean it’s fast to switch between applications and easily handles multiple applications running together. I can't comment on the camera as don't use the tablet for taking photos as a rule but test pictures I've take look fine to me and the videos and photos I already have look good on the screen. All in all I happy I upgraded and have no complaints.

I use this tablet for designing guitars and sent emails with images... I traded the S7 to the S9 and still work flawlessly with transfering of files from the backup from the Micro SD card I used on the S7.... Setup was easy and after about 2hours in total with all the updates from factory settings, it was ready to be used... I also use the camera for small detail to be photographed and the sensor is very good on it... Battery life is alo very good for what I do and listening to music with either the headphones or speakers... Still looking for a descent protector case that i can also use the keyboard that came with it...Seems I have to invent a protector case from a luxurious timber and patent it to be sold under my guitar business name...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung's newest Galaxy Tab is easily the best Android tablet you can buy right now. I mean that in terms of raw power, display quality, and battery life. The 120-Hz AMOLED screen on the Tab S9 series is wonderfully colourful, bright, and sharp. The quad speakers push out an impressive amount of audio. Both of these made streaming on Netflix or watching any other videos a luxurious treat. Additionally, the battery life has been pretty great overall. I worked for several hours straight and it only dipped to half. My model includes the 5G SIM option which has worked without any issues. In conclusion, if you want all the bells and whistles on the Android platform, from the 120-Hz screen and the AMOLED panel to the in-display fingerprint sensor and included stylus, then you'll have no regrets with the Tab S9 series.

couldn't really tell the difference between the S7 to be honest, software is a bit different, it is faster, seems to utilise storage better. Good size screen loads of apps. A big plus was that I could trade in my S7 for a good price comparable with selling it on an auction site or something. I'm not sure the upgrade justifies the price tag, but I travel a lot so need to be as versatile as possible.

I had a TAB A, this tablet is so much faster , up to now I am pleased with it. But it must be able to do more than I can find for it. Although currently it is connected to a home broadband system, I have bought a Smarty Sim Card for it and when I turn of the home Wi-Fi system, that Sim card works marginally slower. All Good up to now .

I've been using it for university as a laptop, and it's ideal because it's so lightweight, but runs really well. I would recommend it to fellow students, especially those doing creative subjects, and those who might be travelling with it.
