I recently received my Samsung Galaxy watch 9 on the 5th of August,2026. I do not even know from where to start. This is my first ever smart watch, and this review might not go through everthing. I am just giving my honest opinion. The customization, comfort, and simplicity of using this watch has been a life changer for me. I am able to chose whichever image, stats, clock type is very great, as I can always change my options to have a different look at the tap of hand. I also have the watch on when going to sleep, so I can get tracks to how my oxygen intake, sleep score, and energy will be for the next day. The watch looks and feels super durable, and straps do not move an inch if somone tries pulling them. The Battery is great so far, as I do need to give the watch sometime to learn and adapt to my usage, habits, and some updates that go in the background for it. I try to charge the watch around 25-30% to full, so I can have it ready for sleep tracking. The accuracy of the watch is 100% on point with my phone, I can always feel confident when getting the exact time from it when my phone is out of reach, or when driving. Overall, it's a very great for watch for daily usage, stylish design, affordable, and so comfortable that I do not even feel it on my wrist.

Me ha gustado hasta ahora, solo la duración de la bateria creo que necesita una mejora, lo que tambien me llamo la atencion es que la compre en preventa y no me acumuló puntos ni nada de lo que promocionan en sus anuncios. De ahí en fuera es excelente, lo uso para mis rutinas de gym y llevar con mas precisión mis mediciones, la correa que incluye la verdad es que me hace sudar mas, haría falta una correa qué permita mas la ventilación en la piel

After a week i am happy with the new watch 9. I like the lighter weight and feel. It seems like there have been improvements to the speaker and microphone and they are quite usable for phone calls now. So far battery life is ok but could be better. I am using it for running so I like how it synchs with strava. I do miss the rotating bezel and centre button, but i can live without those. And for some reason, the Tomcat watch faces no longer supports customisable complications. Very disappointing since I have been using it for years!

The best part is how easily it connects with the rest of my devices—it hooks up to my S24 Ultra and Galaxy Ring without any headaches, keeping everything synced up seamlessly. I'm still figuring out everything it can do, but for daily use, it's been great. The sleep and workout tracking give me super helpful info, and I love that I can swap out the bands to match whatever I'm wearing or doing that day. Being able to check text messages and notifications right from my wrist when my phone isn't on me is super convenient too. Definitely grateful my wife surprised me with it for my Birthday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great watch, I chose it over my watch 7 because of the snapdragon wear elite and the increase in battery life. I would have given 5 stars but the band that comes with the watch is not appealing to me. To thin on the wrist. Bands online whether 8 or 9 are all thin. Hoping some new ones come out soon. Accessories at this time are hard to find. I had a charger that worked well with my old watch 7 and my flip 5. My flip 8 charges on my old charging station but the watch 9 will not charge. Bummed about that but looking for a new charging station. Again online there is no charging stations compatible with the watch 9 unless you use Samsungs puck.

After considerable consideration and talks with my fiancée, it became clear to us that it was. I previously had the galaxy watch 7, and honestly I was amazed with how well it worked. There were somethings I missed out on that the new models had but wasnt a big issue for me. If you can get a major discount on the watch like I did, the galaxy watch 9 is EASILY worth it. Im not too sure how it holds up against the 8, but I havent been let down. Also the battery life on this thing is really good so far. Thats with all the settings turned on and it lasts 2 days on a single charge.

Happy I waited for the Watch9 to replace my Watch4. It's noticeably faster, more intuitive, has a few more features and I love the aesthetic of the watch - it's stylish. I also like the selection of strap types. I got the silicone strap and fabric strap. The only thing is I wish the battery lasted longer which I know the Ultra 2 exceeds the Watch9 in this category but I did not want the Ultra 2. Regardless, the Watch9 is well worth it as an upgrade or first purchase. I have a Galaxy S25 Ultra and it pairs well.

I liked the Ultra 2 battery life but it is too thick for everyday use. I may have purchased the Ultra 2 if I was still doing the level of outside activities I did in my 20s. While I am still getting used to having a smartwatch, I am using many of the health features and like being able to read text without taking my phone out of my pocket. I have the Bluetooth version. I charge it for about a half hour before I got to bed and for a half hour when I wake up.

Mi experiencia con el Galaxy Watch9 es muy positiva en prácticamente todos los aspectos. Lo utilizo de forma intensiva para deporte, especialmente natación, seguimiento del sueño, frecuencia cardíaca, estrés, recuperación y carga cardiovascular. También uso habitualmente las llamadas, notificaciones, música, Samsung Wallet y la conexión con mis auriculares. La integración con el ecosistema Galaxy me parece excelente, rápida y muy sencilla. En natación me ha sorprendido especialmente: funciona perfectamente bajo el agua y es capaz incluso de reconocer distintos estilos de nado. También me resulta cómodo para dormir y llevarlo durante todo el día. Sin embargo, hay un aspecto que condiciona enormemente mi valoración: la autonomía. Con todas las funciones que utilizo necesito cargarlo incluso dos veces al día. Entiendo que un uso intensivo implica un mayor consumo, pero precisamente el atractivo de un smartwatch con tantas funciones es poder utilizarlas. No considero una solución tener que desactivar parte de ellas para conseguir una autonomía razonable. Me parece contradictorio disponer de un dispositivo excelente para realizar un seguimiento continuo de actividad, sueño y bienestar si la batería obliga a estar pendiente constantemente de cuándo cargarlo. De hecho, aunque estoy encantada con prácticamente todo lo demás, actualmente la autonomía sería suficiente para hacerme reconsiderar su compra. Como puntos adicionales de mejora, he observado diferencias apreciables entre la medición de composición corporal del reloj y otras mediciones realizadas con equipos específicos. También creo que podría optimizarse la experiencia de determinadas mediciones para quienes utilizamos el reloj en la muñeca derecha. En conjunto, considero que es un smartwatch con excelentes funciones, muy buen diseño e integración magnífica dentro del ecosistema Samsung, pero una mejora importante de la autonomía transformaría por completo mi experiencia con el producto.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought the watch 9. I chose it because I've been reading up on the possible connections with future Samsung products! I love that the interface is the same as my older model samsung watch so I can have a smooth switch to the new model. It reacts well to my settings to turn on when I move my wrist. The step counter is real time. It does take a little extra time to charge. Mine out of the box was 73% it took over 30 mins to reach 100%. So charging could be improved. Since there was only one strap, I have the 44mm size watch because the strap fits my wrist better than the 40mm size. Overall I'm very happy with the watch 9! Can't wait for what's to come with this watch!

Traded in the watch 7 for the new watch 9 and I am bitterly disappointed. The watch 7 gave me no issues at all and the features fully worked but for the watch 9 which is smart looking and on the whole as I would expect, the sleep tracking is non existent. I get no data at all, which gives no energy scores and other features need a baseline score which is gained from the sleep data before use. I have tried everything to try and fix this, power saving mode trick, permissions are fully on, full reset and nothing has worked so far. Obviously, trying these different methods takes time to know if they work which is becoming painful, the watch will more than likely be getting returned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the watch 8 44mm and wasn't sure about whether it would be worth it to upgrade. I chose the graphite color because it looked very classy. I could immediately see the improvement in the display. Its really beautiful. It doesn't look as big and bulky as the 8. It's more touch responsive. I'm glad I decided to take the leap. This watch is understated and very high quality in appearance. I actually received it earlier than expected. The data transfer from 8 was seamless and very fast. Even if you have a later watch version, you will enjoy the 9 and see the difference. I recommend it without reservation.

I got this just under a month ago and the forst thing that stood out to me was how comfortable it was to wear this watch even to sleep. I found myself almost forgetting that i had this watch on my arm even after i got a case for it. I love how responsive and snappy the galaxy watches have got especially coming from the watch 4. Still not the biggest fan of the "squircle" design but I guess, the overall watch experience makes up for it.

I decided to upgrade from the Galaxy Watch 6, and this new watch is performing excellently. The fast processing speeds stand out, and the display is very sharp. The raise-to-talk-to-Gemini feature is brilliant. The additional health tracking features are impressive, and battery life is decent. I'd definitely recommend the Galaxy Watch 9 to anyone considering upgrading.

The Watch 9's features are impressive and I love how they changed the timer system for workouts since I enjoy tracking mine and meeting my goals. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2009 I suffered three massive brain hemorrhages while giving birth to my son and ever since I've had lasting memory loss we never thought about getting a watch that could help me through my day and since how I'm feeling and monitor where I am just in case I get lost because I can't even remember how to get home anymore. With my brain injury I hardly keep in touch with anybody I know because I don't have the wherewithal to pick up my phone and text or call someone but with the watch I chose from Samsung I am able to feel a little more safe knowing that my watch can always bring me back home.

The display is clear, bright, and easy to read, and the watch feels very responsive and works great for everyday use. I really like the design and features. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the band feels a little too thin for the 44mm watch. In my opinion, a wider band would look more proportional and would complement the larger 44mm case much better. Other than that, I am very happy with the watch and its overall quality. I didnt find yet to much change from the watch 7.

No se añade mucha más funcionalidad que en modelos anteriores. La bateria es u punto de mejora, pq solo aguantabun dia. El diseño me gustaba más el 6 que es mas pequeño, la esfera esbigual pero luego por los lado se añade tamaño y parece más grande. Lo que ha mejorado es q es algo más fino. La correa eñsport tb me gustaba más la del 6 que se metia el sobrante por dentro. Se añaden algunas funcionalisades de salud respecto al 6, pero creo que no mu has más en modelos posteriores. Hablo del 6 pq vengo de ese modelo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start with the good. I like the look of the watch and the bands. Coming from the watch 7,I would say that this is an upgrade. I also like the new watch faces. They are quite fun. The health features have improved, offering more insight into my health. The bad. The battery is clearly worse in this years iteration than in previous years. I barely make it a day with the same settings in my watch 7 that got me at least a day and a half. I know it's still early but this is disappointing. I'm also experiencing some sound issues while connected to a call. Overall this is a bit disappointing and I'm awaiting a fix from Samsung. I choose to keep this watch because I already sent my trade in back to Samsung.

It does exactly what I need for fitness and health. Perks are emails, calls, texts and side apps that show up as notifications. My only gripe is the charger and charge. Ive got a zillion chargers from previous watches but this one you cant use amy of them. So now ive only got one which stinks. The charge still only lasts about a day and a half at best before it starts dying quickly so thats also a bummer. But doesn't change my opinion on liking it.

However I have decided to change to Watch9 model because of the chipset change and battery increase. However, I cannot feel that the QC the Snapdragon wear elite chipset is superior than Exynos W1000. Also the battery increase is just 10mAh. No exterior difference except for the color of back plane. Watch9 is also nice product but I am not sure if it worthes to change the previous model. At least if there is one minor change in the figure, it would be more attractive to distinguish it from previous model. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am a Samsung fan since the Note 2, and after trying various watches I decided a more minimalist watch since my Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2024 just started feeling too big and heavy for me. I chose to upgrade because this watch has the new Snapdragon processor, it has a bright display, and all the features I've come to expect in a daily wear Watch. The operating system is smooth and efficient enough to last me throughout the whole day. It is lightweight and very stylish especially the white color it goes with my new Fold 8. I still need to dive deeper into the health features but already did one night of the sleep apnea and link to my service provider since i chose the LTE model over the Wi-Fi for convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im very health conscious and wanted the latest and greatest that Samsung had. I chose this watch because it had all the latest features. Well I have found that with all these new features you give up battery life. The watch has no battery life at ALL. I have to charge it daily. I will go to bed at 100% and wake up with it between 75 - 80% battery life. When i go to the battery settings its shows that the battery life is 1d 11h. I previously had the watch 7 and it easily lasted 4 days or 5 if i shut down the features. I guess with all the new features and the AI its just not worth it at this time. Im disappointed as i had such high hopes.

This year they increase the battery size and I was a huge fan of that. I also like the fact that they increase the brightness of the watch screen in addition to the battery size so the watch face is now brighter. My last Galaxy watch survived a motorcycle accident so clearly they are built tough and I will continue to get a new watch when they release as I look forward to new features. I would be a huge fan of eliminating the bezel around the watch in the future so they could increase the screen size without increasing the watch size.

I chose the 44mm size for the biggest possible battery. Im so happy it doesn't require charging every day! I wasn't super excited about the "squircle" design change but this time I got black and it looks really sharp. I rely on the health monitors daily and I appreciate how long the blood pressure monitor works before needing to be recalibrated. It has all the health monitors I regularly rely on and several more. The new sport band still feels like sport, while looking more traditional. This watch is a winner

I was resistant on getting a new watch because I felt like they all do the same. I am so happy I chose the Galaxy 9. I use it mainly for working out and tracking my health. This is the most advanced watch yet. I can track my overall health in a way that I never was able to do before. My workouts are now more detailed in their reports. I especially love the size of this watch. The screen is bigger but not in a bulky or masculine kind of way. This is also the lightest watch that I have experienced so far. I am extremely happy with finally making the switch. There's still so much more to uncover with this watch, and I am enjoying learning everything it does.

I chose the 9 cause the ultra 2 looked to manly. I love the new shape, and the way the bands now connect. I like all the new and more detailed tracking in the health app. When I first purchased my galaxy 6 the battery lasted 48+ hours, before I upgraded it only lasted about 24 hours, so I was disappointed to notice my galaxy 9 watch only stays charged around 24 hours also, thats really the only con I have.

Among other things, I'm a pianist who performs and plays regularly, and though, I may have been doing so for 75 years, i'm very comfortable working with digital music these days. I get crystal clear images and it integrates nicely with my bluetooth pedals. I also do technical theater work, including lighting and audio, and regularly use apps on this tablet to control lighting and audio. Like I said, it's a workhorse. When the time comes to upgrade my tablet, you can be darn sure, it's going to be another.Samsung.

I pre-ordered the day it was announced and glad to say I'm happy with my purchase. I didn't realize how many extra health features were missing from switching to galaxy watch 9 from the galaxy watch 6. Was pleasantly surprised. I received my new watch 2 days before launch and have had no issues ever since. The reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because I'm not fond of the style (circle watch face in a rounded off square). I love the old round style. I also cannot use my original 2-in-1 wireless Samsung charger as it doesn't sit flat. Bummer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest change right off the bat for me is that I no longer have thr rotating bezel like I had with the Watch 6 Classic. It is going to take getting use to not have that. I also miss the more defined buttons. That being said set up was smooth. It is fast and has many new features that I will enjoy using. I got the fabric band, which is very comfortable. My only complaint with it is that it is not easy to get it to charge with my Samsung trio charger. Probably going to look at a different band. I am sure that as I spend more time with the Watch 9, it will become just as comfortable and useful as my Watch 6 Classic has been.

I bought this to be able to track health. Pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable. The display is amazing in full sun. Battery is pretty good considering always on display.. solid 1.5 to 2 days. Durability remains to be seen.. but it looks like shouldn't be a problem. I love all the watch faces you can choose from, but even then how even the one you end up choosing you can customize the layout. Accuracy heartbeat, steps, mileage body mass index etc all seem to be pretty much spot on. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I had lost my last watch in a house fire where i had lost everything. Usually getting them with another device. I prefer Samsung because of the quality. I love the ability to check my BP anytime I want. Also the beauty of the watch and design of the watch. The all touch panel without a twisting bezel is so sleek. Love how easy it is to swap wrist bands. To be honest I found the perfect color and size for ke so I will not need to change the band. I did use the watch the first 2 nights to check my sleep. I also used it to do an EKG. It comes in handy when you do not have access to another device for a quick check. The watch was spot on even though they do not guarantee those features. I would choose Samsung any day.

I like that it includes metabolic monitoring and antioxidant levels. The bad is the battery. The first day I had it have every feature turned on to see what the life was like. I was at 100% when I put it on at bedtime and in 24 hours it was down to 25%. Today I turned off constant hr function and put on battery saving 11:30 pm last night to 6 pm tonight it is down to 64% so much better with power saving turned on. At that rate it may make it almost 2 days without a charge. I would prefer at least 3 days but its not a deal breaker for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy watch 9 to replace my Galaxy watch 8 because I love to how slim and lightweight the Gen 8 has been. The battery life is a bit low and the responsiveness of the screen and UI has always felt a bit delayed, but otherwise I've had no complaints with the Gen 8. I mainly use it for health tracking and exercise tracking while listening to music or audio books. The upgrade to the Galaxy watch 9 seems to be marginal at best. It has slightly better battery life and has a slightly snappier feel to the UI overall, otherwise it maintains the strengths of the 8th gen and remains very comfortable and practical. I love the idea of the Galaxy watch ultra and it's much larger battery, but I prioritize the slim design and much reduced weight compared to the ultra model.

I also chose the Misty Blue band and I really like the look. I am Super happy with the improvements in the GPS response when I start a workout. I feel like the profile is a little lower but it has a more Square or Boxy look. So far everything is working great. I also chose the Misty Black band and I also like this look. I have the small medium band and wear it on the 4 th whole but sometimes place it at the 5 th hole.

The watch itself seems to be very good. I would like better battery life or it would be fantastic. As far as options for chargers - not even 1 star, come on Samang, you can't launch a new product and not have any charger options out there! (even better - make it clear that the Watch 9 doesn't work with the charger pucks of the last 10 years of watches - you had a very established trend that disappeared without notice)

The Galaxy Ring has been a nice interim solution, but the new Galaxy Watch 9 fits my aging, boney wrist much better and I'm betting the enhanced software and sensors will ensure better sleep tracking. My wife and I -- both born in the 1940s -- are inveterate fans of all the other health tracking functions available on our Galaxy watches. We're also big fans of Samsung's trade-in program. We were probably among the first to preorder and get the new Watch 9. Ours arrived at 3PM today, August 5, two days earlier than projected. By 5PM our new watches had already recorded the 2,100 steps it took for us to walk to the nearest UPS store where we dropped off our old watches for return to Samsung. Many thanks!

I chose to finally upgrade my watch based on the new Health features available and better battery life. I am definitely able to use my watch longer, overnight, and without battery anxiety. I was a little concerned about the new design on my tiny wrist, as the watch I had previously was a simple circle, but I quickly got used to it, and don't think it looks too large. I'm happy for the band that is completely adjustable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to replace my Galaxy Watch Ultra with the new Galaxy Watch 9 because it promised improved sleep tracking. New BioActive sensors and Samsung Health app algorithms would supposedly provide better information about sleep stages. I've been tracking my sleep for over four years on four successive Galaxy watches and the Galaxy Ring. Since 2025 data gaps of up to one hour began to appear in the sleep timeliness. I had hoped the Watch 9 would correct that. But quite the opposite happened. The Watch 9 fails to track 70% to100% of my sleep. It's not due to how I wear the watch or how my watches power and permissions are set, the Samsung swears those are the only possible explanations. I consulted AI and it tells me a congenital heart arrhythmia is the likely culprit. It was always there but the new Watch 9 has gotten better at detecting it and that causes the sleep tracking to freeze up. I only wish Samsung would at least provide a small print warning that for a small percentage of users certain physiological traits might seriously impair the ability of Samsung Health to track sleep. Thankfully, my spouse is in the majority who are thoroughly pleased with all the features of their new Watch 9.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to update from my Galaxy Watch6 to a brand new Galaxy Watch 9. I like the sleek look, feel lighter on my wrist then the 6. More importantly I got it for the updated health sensors and battery. I can fully utilize Samsung Health to better monitor my health. I additionally like the bigger battery, it is already noticeable compared to my 6 how long it lasts. I still miss the twistable bezel but overall, I really love the Galaxy Watch 9. I am very happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a chance to get a watch for a reasonable price and I chose the new watch 9, I am in love with it and I normally do not like to wear any jewelry or watches. This watch has helped me get motivated to walk more, I have been able to keep an eye on my heart rate and I have been able to track my sleep which has been helpful information for me! I LOVE THIS WATCH!
