For a cohesive, stylish design, a built-in oven is a preferred choice.
  • Choose your oven size based on your kitchen layout and cooking habits.

  • Models with pyrolytic self-cleaning or steam-cleaning functions handle most of the cleaning for you.
For manual cleaning, wait until the oven has cooled, then use a soft cloth and an oven-safe cleaner.
  • Regular maintenance helps extend your oven’s lifespan:

    • • Wipe down the interior after each use to prevent residue buildup.
    • • Follow the manufacturer’s care and usage guidelines.
    • • Arrange periodic inspections to spot and address potential issues early.
  • Most ovens offer these cleaning methods:

    • • Pyrolytic cleaning: Burns off grease at very high heat; wipe away the ash.
    • • EcoClean or catalytic liners: Coatings absorb grease during cooking; no separate cycle needed.
    • • Steam cleaning (Hydrolytic): Uses water and low heat for quick, efficient cleaning.
    • • Manual cleaning: Wipe with a soft cloth and mild detergent; avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools.

Always follow the cleaning instructions in the oven’s user manual.
  • To check an oven’s energy efficiency rating, refer to the product specifications. Compare ratings and energy use to choose a more efficient model. Picking the right size and features for your needs also helps reduce energy consumption over time.
  • Q. Why won’t my oven turn on?

There could be many reasons your oven won’t turn on. Check the following before contacting Samsung Support for repair:

    1. 1. Check energy-saving mode: If the oven shuts off after inactivity, it may be in standby. Turn a knob or press a button to exit.
    2. 2. Verify the power switch: Make sure the red oven circuit switch is on.
    3. 3. Inspect the fuse or breaker: See if a fuse has blown or a breaker has tripped.
    4. 4. Wait for cooling: The oven may need to cool fully before restarting to prevent overheating.
  • There could be many reasons your oven is not heating properly or maintaining temperature.
Check the following before contacting Samsung Support for help:

    1. 1. Check the door closure: Make sure the door is fully shut. Some ovens stop heating if the door is open.
    2. 2. Verify twin oven settings: In twin ovens, don’t use grill mode in the lower oven. Use the partition/divider correctly for dual mode, and remove it for single mode.
    3. 3. Avoid portable thermometers: Their readings may differ from the oven’s actual temperature.
    4. 4. Confirm settings: Ensure cooking mode, temperature, shelf position, and tray/rack placement follow the user guide.
  • There could be many reasons your oven is heating slowly.
Check the following before contacting Samsung Support for assistance:

    1. 1. Check the door closure: Make sure the oven door is fully closed. Some models stop heating if the door is open.
    2. 2. Use fast preheat mode: If available, select this feature to reach the set temperature more quickly.
    3. 3. Avoid portable thermometers: They can give inaccurate readings compared to the oven’s built-in sensors.
    4. 4. Perform a self-test: After the oven cools, set it to convection mode at 200 °C and time the preheating. If it reaches temperature within 15 minutes, the oven is working normally.
  • Most ovens use a fan to spread heat evenly and reduce cooking time. If the fan loosens or disconnects from the motor, it can cause unusual noises, longer preheating, or uneven heating. In this case, contact a Samsung technician for repair.
  • The wire rack and rack insert serve different cooking purposes:

    • • Wire rack: Use for grilling and roasting. When placing it in the oven, make sure the stoppers on both sides face the front.
    • • Wire rack insert: Place on the tray to stop liquids from dripping onto the oven floor. Insert both together into the oven.

Note: Always wear oven gloves when handling hot racks.
  • To detach the side racks:

    • • Press the top of the left side rack and tilt it downward about 45°.
    • • Pull the rack out to remove it.
    • • Repeat the same steps for the right side rack.

    To attach them again:

    • • Reinsert each rack by reversing the steps above.
    • • Clean the side racks before reinstalling if needed.

Note: The oven can be used without the side racks or other racks installed.
  • Samsung ovens typically include three types of trays, each designed for specific cooking needs:

    • • Baking Tray (20 mm depth): Best for baking cakes, cookies, and pastries. Always place with the slanted side facing the front.
    • • Universal Tray (30 mm depth): Suitable for most cooking and roasting. Use with the wire rack to prevent drips from reaching the oven bottom. Place with the slanted side facing the front.
    • • Extra-Deep Tray (50 mm depth): Ideal for roasting, with or without the wire rack. Place with the slanted side facing the front.

Note: Tray types and accessories may vary depending on your oven model.
  • For smooth movement and easy access:

    1. 1. Pull the rail plate out from the oven.
    2. 2. Place the tray securely on the rail plate, then slide it back into the oven.
    3. 3. Close the oven door.
  • Dual Cook mode splits the oven into two compartments, allowing you to cook two dishes at once or use just one compartment for smaller portions.

    • • To use the divider, insert it into the middle slot with the “Dual Cook” label facing forward.
    • • The oven automatically detects the divider and activates the settings for each compartment.
  • To safely clean your oven racks:

    • • Use warm soapy water, mild detergent with a soft cloth or kitchen roll, or a dry towel.
    • • Avoid abrasive cleaners, hard brushes, scouring pads, steel wool, knives, or any harsh materials that could damage the racks.
    • • Always check the cleaning products and tools for compatibility before use to prevent damage.
    • • For tough grime, soaking racks in warm soapy water for several hours or overnight can help loosen dirt.
