Samsung Electronics Singapore announced that its Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, Note20 Ultra 5G, Note20 5G and the upcoming Z Fold2 5G smartphones are compatible with telcos’ 5G network trials.
Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G users can already update their devices to the latest software build to experience the power of 5G, while Galaxy Note20 series and upcoming Galaxy Z Fold2 5G users will receive the update starting from 18 September, the same day that Galaxy Z Fold2 5G becomes available in Singapore.

Users of 5G supported Samsung devices will be prompted to update their device software according to below schedule to enjoy 5G5 on their devices:
- Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G: Software update available
- Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G, Note20 5G, Z Fold2 5G: Software update available from 18 September
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G: Software update to be available later
