From automated meal planning and recipe suggestions based on personal preferences, to easy control of smart home devices, along with bringing your favourite entertainment experiences into the kitchen, the latest Family Hub™ offers unique experiences like no other fridge in the market.

The Family Hub™ line-up includes two new stylish side-by-side refrigerator models¹ at more affordable price points. Consumers can look forward to expanded storage with SpaceMax Technology™, which utilises thinner walls to create extra storage space whilst ensuring optimal insulation and without increasing external dimensions. In addition, the Family Hub™ is a perfect enhancement for all kitchen spaces, with its modern and premium built-in look, elegant flat doors, recessed handles, and fingerprint-resistant finish.

The Family Hub™ offers multi-room entertainment which allows users to stream their favourite music, or even catch up on serials from where they left off from the living room. Besides offering a variety of music apps, including Spotify⁵ and TuneIn, users can enjoy rich sound with high quality speakers, while continuing to enjoy their favourite music across devices.

The Smart View feature allows users to mirror content from connected Samsung TVs⁶ and Samsung mobile devices⁷ for a truly seamless entertainment experience. Users can now enjoy hours of entertainment across their kitchen, living room or bedrooms comfortably. With portrait mode, users can also enjoy vertical smartphone videos, as well as their favourite social media content on the full screen of Family Hub™.

Connect and Control Your Smart Home

With Family Board, families can use the intuitive 21.5” touchscreen bulletin board to enhance life’s special moments through sharing photos, posting stickers, drawing pictures, and creating notes, for everyone in the household to interact with. The Family Board will now support video sharing and playback, so families can relive their most precious memories together by sharing content from their smartphones² to the Family Board. Users can also pin their favourite webpages on the Family Board to share their favourite reads of the day with the rest of the members.

Keep forgetting important dates? The Calendar App allows all members of the family to share their schedules and check on each other’s calendars via the Family Hub™, or directly from the smartphone².

With the Morning Brief app, the Family Hub™ also provides daily updates including weather forecasts, schedules and even reminders on food that are expiring³. Samsung’s Bixby voice assistant⁴ can also read aloud customised information for individual users with the help of its voice recognition function.
