Beginning yesterday, consumers who had successfully pre-ordered the latest addition of the Galaxy Note series started to collect the long-awaited Galaxy Note9 devices, ahead of its scheduled retail availability.  

 

The Galaxy Note9 pre-order has been very well-received since it began on 10 August 2018, 3pm.  In particular, consumers are raving about the first-of-its-kind, fourfold memory upgrade promotion, which rewards them with a free upgrade to the Galaxy Note9 (512GB¹), upon purchasing the Galaxy Note9 (128GB¹), with a value worth up to $330².  

 

When it comes to colour, the Galaxy Note9’s Ocean Blue variant is the hot favourite and most popular choice among consumers, along with its signature Bluetooth^® technology enabled S Pen in Pearl Yellow, that allows users to take selfies effortlessly, navigate presentation slides, pause and play videos, and more, with just a click. 

 

The Galaxy Note9 which comes in 128GB¹ and 512GB¹ built-in memory variants will be available from 25 August 2018 at the recommended retail price of $1,398 (inclusive GST) and $1,728 (inclusive GST) respectively. The devices will be available in colour options of Ocean Blue, Metallic Copper and Midnight Black, at local telecommunication operators (M1, Singtel and StarHub), major consumer electronics & IT stores, Samsung Experience Stores, Lazada Singapore, selected online marketplaces and at all authorised mobile retailers.

From 25 August to 16 September 2018, purchasers of the Galaxy Note9 from Samsung Experience Stores will be entitled to a discount of $200 off the recommended retail price of selected Samsung products³. All Galaxy Note9 purchasers are also entitled to receive complimentary Samsung Concierge (currently retailing at promotional price of $48, usual price $128) upon successful activation of Samsung Members app at point of purchase.

Launch Offers at Consumer Electronics & IT Stores and Lazada.sg

 

From 25 August to 30 September 2018, purchasers of Galaxy Note9 from major Consumer Electronics and IT Stores (Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, Gain City, Harvey Norman and Newstead)³ and at the Samsung Official Store on Lazada.sg⁴ will be entitled to a discount of $200 off the recommended retail price of selected Samsung products.

Complimentary 12-month subscription of The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao  

 

Samsung will be holding an islandwide promotion in collaboration with Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). From now till 31 December 2018, Galaxy Note9 purchasers can enjoy a free 12-month digital subscription of The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao via their respective mobile apps worth more than $720⁵. The promotion can be redeemed via the Samsung Members app from 24 August 2018 onwards. 

 

Samsung Trade Up Programme 

 

Consumers can also purchase the Galaxy Note9 at a lower price through the Samsung Trade Up Programme⁶.  

 

Exclusively with the launch of the Galaxy Note9, customers who purchase the Galaxy Note9 can trade-in their old eligible device⁷ from 22 August 2018 to 4 September 2018, to receive an additional $100 trade-in value⁸ on top of the regular trade-in amount.

 

Consumers can participate in the Samsung Trade Up Programme via the following options:

 

        1.     Samsung Trade Up @ Samsung Experience Stores

 

        The Samsung Trade Up Programme is now available at any Samsung Experience Stores (with the exception of Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3), for consumers who purchase the Galaxy Note9 without a mobile contract from participating Samsung Experience Stores. Consumers’ old eligible device will be assessed on site, and they will be able to offset the total trade-in value from the purchase price of the Galaxy Note9⁹.

        Consumers can enjoy convenience and great trade-in values, through the Samsung Trade Up (SG) app, from the comfort of their homes, in these simple steps:

                2. Do a quick assessment using the Samsung Trade Up (SG) app to valuate their old device.
