Samsung Collaborates with Porsche Asia Pacific to Elevate Consumer Viewing Experience

Oct 15. 2018

Singapore – 15 October 2018 – Samsung Electronics is collaborating with Porsche Asia Pacific in respect of the Porsche Experience this year. Held from 7 to 17 October 2018 at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, The Porsche Experience is one of Porsche’s key events where existing customers and potential customers come together for a full-day driving experience with Porsche driving instructors. The event also serves as a platform to showcase the latest products and innovations from both Samsung and Porsche.

"As a forward-thinking industry leader, Porsche is constantly at the forefront of innovation and Samsung is delighted to partner a like-minded brand for the Porsche Experience," said Mr Steve Lee, President and CEO of Samsung Electronics Southeast Asia & Oceania. "Samsung is constantly exploring opportunities to elevate the lifestyles of our customers through quality and innovative technology. This collaboration is the ideal platform to reach out to consumers, offering them an unforgettable experience with our premium and revolutionary products."

Samsung Showcase at The Porsche Experience

At the Porsche Experience, Samsung is showcasing its LED for Home (IF P1.2) display in the briefing area which simulates a luxurious living room environment. Packed with advanced technologies for enhanced image clarity and performance, the IF Series display is a sophisticated display that brings a brilliant, life-like viewing experience to the guests at the event.

Samsung’s interactive digital display tool Flip is being used to brief the guests on relevant driving instructions and circuit conditions. Samsung’s 65" UHD Smart Signage and a 49" Curved Monitor are being showcased at the event as well.

Transforming Walls into Displays with Samsung LED for Home

While LED displays are often found unfit for home installations, Samsung has changed the rules with the Samsung LED for Home displays, transforming the way consumers enjoy top-of-the-line LED technology by bringing it into their homes.

First introduced at the global smart home industry event CEDIA 2018 in last September, Samsung’s LED for Home displays foster a truly original experience without restrictions in size or form. The perfectly clear image quality with immense details can be achieved with Samsung LED for Home displays. Samsung was able to do this by reducing the LED pixel spaces with MicroLED display’s ‘fine pixel pitch’ technology.

To help create homes and indoor spaces where the displays are in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment and users’ unique styles, Samsung plans to expand the Samsung LED for Home product lineup and further develop technologies to integrate the displays into the daily lifestyles of consumers.
