Terms & Conditions

AI Energy Mode applicable to selected home appliance models only. Monitoring energy consumption from SmartThings device is based on estimated figures, and the actual electricity charges may vary. Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi® connection and Samsung account login are required. Available for specific models through a Wi-Fi® update. Results are based on internal testing and may vary depending on the usage condition and patterns.

Bespoke AI™ Washer: Can be applied when the selected washing temperature is 20 ~ 40°C. Based on internal testing on the WW11BB944AGB model in normal usage conditions. Results: Power consumption without AI Energy Mode = 0.539 KWh. Power consumption with AI Energy Mode = 0.145 KWh. Results may vary depending on the actual usage conditions.

Bespoke AI™ Dryer: Based on internal testing using the SuperSpeed course to dry a 5kg load. Results: Power consumption without AI Energy Mode= 950Wh. Power consumption with AI Energy Mode = 720Wh. Results may vary depending on actual usage conditions.

Samsung TV: Based on the internal testing with 55S90C model in Standard picture mode with and without AI Energy Mode under surrounding luminance of 100lux. The default TV setting is in Eco Mode which already includes some AI energy saving features, therefore the saving rate will not be as high when compared to Eco Mode. Some AI energy saving features may not function under surrounding luminance over 120lux, in which case the saving rate may decrease. The results may vary depending on the user’s actual usage environment and patterns. This feature does not work in modes such as Game mode, Intelligent Mode where gaming or viewing experience are the top priorities.

Bespoke Refrigerator: Energy usage is reduced by optimising the compressor speed and operation and adjusting the fridge temperature. Results are based on internal testing and may vary depending on the usage condition and patterns. 

Bespoke Dishwasher: Based on internal testing comparing the water temperatures and cycle times of the factory setting and AI Energy mode for the Pots & Pans program. Results may vary depending on the actual usage conditions. AI Energy mode can be used with 6 washing cycles: Intensive, Express, Extra Silence, Pots & Pans, Plastic and Auto.

Bespoke AI WindFree™ Air Conditioners: Based on internal testing on AJ018DBAPKF/SP and AJ045DCJ2KF/SP models, comparing AI energy mode vs AI auto mode. The testing was conducted in Samsung’s 40m² residential environment laboratory at a temperature of 35°C/24°C (dry bulb/wet bulb, KS C 9306: air conditioner). Actual savings may vary by usage patterns and environment.

Bespoke AirDresser: Based on internal testing, verified by KATRI (Korea Apparel Testing & Research Institute), on a DF24*B9***** / DF18*B8***** model, using AI custom drying on a KS C IEC 61121 fabric, 3 blended shirts, with an external temperature of 23±2°C and a relative humidity of 55±10%. When AI Energy Mode is turned on, with “Maximum saving” selected, the energy consumption is reduced by more than 15%, compared to when it is turned off.
