Contemporary artist, Sam, was won over by the state-of-the-art features of the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G. After he made the switch, he realized that the Galaxy was what he’s been looking for this whole time.

I used my previous phone for about a year, it was a very simple phone with basic functions.
It was pretty smooth-sailing, until I realised it didn't perform based on what I required of a phone over time – from the colour display and the processing of multiple functions, to hanging and restarting from time to time, it was due for an upgrade.

The old phone restarted multiple times, sometimes for no reason at all, and that for me, was the last straw.
At that point I started weighing the pros and cons of what I wanted in a phone – it needed to have a better camera, more colour accuracy (to aid in my work), and something that boosted productivity.

As I have been an Android user for a few years now, because of its customizable features, switching to Galaxy meant that the UI was something I was already used to.
It was also quick and effortless porting over. I remember loading an old artwork I did on the screen, and when I saw how vibrant the colours were and how clear it was on the larger screen, I knew it was what I was missing this whole time.

Why did you choose to upgrade to Galaxy?
Why did you choose to upgrade to Galaxy?
I made the switch for better productivity. I now enjoy better processing power, colour accuracy and vibrant colours. Plus, the ability to pair it with the S Pen for sketches on the go, and finally, the waterproof feature of the phone when I am painting outdoors.

What advice do you have for your peers who are afraid to make a change?
It is easy to stay with something familiar and comfortable, but in the process, you can really miss out on better things, or fail to realise that you actually do need those functions in the first place.
It also depends on what you value at any given point, and how a switch can potentially benefit your life and workflow. If it is within your means, and you see a potential in this new tech, I don't see why you should not make the jump.
