Kies air is a mobile application which enables
Wi-Fi mobile-to-device connections and
browser-based management.
You can use Kies air without PC software or a
USB connection.

How to start

* Check point : Devices should be connected to the same wireless local area network (WLAN).

Start “Kies air” on your mobile device
See the displayed URL (ex. http://192.168.x.x)

Open internet browser on your PC.
Type the URL in the browser's address bar

Allow the access on your mobile device.
Then, you can manage your mobile contents with a keyboard on a larger screen.

FAQ

Can I use Kies air without wireless router at home?

Configure your mobile phone as a mobile AP using the “portable Wi-Fi hotspot” function.
* You can set at Settings > Wireless and network > Tethering and portable hotspot in your mobile phone.
* You are not charged for data usage when you only use Kies air.

I cannot send multiple files at once

Need to install Java – downloadable from the Java homepage(www.java.com ) in order to
transfer multiple files at once or to upload a file over 100MB.

I cannot play some of the multimedia files

Since Kies air lets you play multimedia files using the plug-in players in the browser,
it depends on each plug-in policy whether you can play it or not.
Please check the file format that is compatible with the relevant plug-in program.
