Reduce your energy use by up to 10%* with AI Energy mode in SmartThings Energy**. If your estimated electricity bill exceeds a preset target, it gives you an option to save energy***. It intelligently adjusts the compressor speed and defrost cycle, based on your usage pattern and surroundings.

AI Inverter Compressor

Keep food consistently cool and save energy. The AI Inverter Compressor’s improved structure increases its inertia by 4.1x*, so it uses less energy*. Using an AI algorithm, it adjusts its speed to suit the user’s usage patterns and save energy**. The compressor has a 20 year warranty***.

* Only available on the machine learning model products equipped with AI algorithms. As of May 2024, the AI Inverter Compressor is applied to the RF9000C, RF9000D, RS8000DC, RS5000DC, RB6000D, BRB6500D, RT6300D and RT6500D models. The applicable models may vary. The energy saving rate based on the AI algorithm is 7-11% depending on the model. To utilize the AI function of the AI Inverter Compressor, the AI Energy mode needs to be activated on the SmartThings App, which is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required.
** Based on internal testing, tested by UL Solutions. At 1100 rpm, which is the main operating range of the RS***... refrigerator compressor(NO14C9151AK+++), the energy efficiency ratio (EER) of the compressor was improved by about 15% compared to Samsung's existing compressor (NF94R9151AT+++).
