[2022] How to install and set up your Samsung Odyssey Ark Gaming Monitor
Once you install and set up the Odyssey Ark monitor, you can adjust the Ark’s screen position using the HAS (Height Adjustable Stand). This will allow you to tilt and pivot the screen for the best viewing angle.

You can use the instructions below to install your Odyssey Ark Gaming Monitor.
Please keep the following precautions in mind when moving the Odyssey Ark
- Move the product by holding the stand base with one hand and the stand neck with the other.
- Do not directly apply pressure on the screen and do not hold the screen when moving the product.
- The product is very heavy. Ensure that it is held by more than one person.
Make sure to check the amount of space around the Odyssey Ark when placing it in your desired spot
There should be enough space for ventilation where the product is placed. A high internal temperature may cause a fire or damage to the product.
Maintain enough space around the product, as shown below, during installation:
The Odyssey Ark can be tilted in your desired direction. The stand’s height can be adjusted as well.
- It is recommended to move the Odyssey Ark’s screen and stand slowly. Do not apply pressure directly on the screen.
- When adjusting the stand height, you may hear a noise, which is caused by the stand sliding into place. This is normal and is not a product malfunction.
- Make sure there are no cables caught in the stand’s gap when adjusting the height.
Caution: Please keep the following instructions in mind when moving the Odyssey Ark.
- Grasp the top and bottom of the monitor when adjusting the tilt.
- Grasp the left and right sides of the monitor when adjusting the swivel.
- Grasp the bottom center of the monitor when adjusting the height.
- To avoid possible injury, do NOT hold the stand when adjusting the screen.
- If the screen is not level after making your adjustments, hold the screen’s bezel on the bottom left and right sides, and then adjust the angle as desired.
- Do not hold or press on the display.
You can rotate the Odyssey Ark using the image guides below.
- Landscape → Portrait
- Portrait → Landscape
- Make sure to fully extend the stand before rotating the product.
- If the stand is not fully extended, the product may not be able to rotate. If you rotate the product by force, the stand may become damaged.
- Be careful not to hit the stand with the screen when rotating the product.
The Odyssey Ark’s 55”, 1000R curved screen creates the perfect gaming environment.
The optimal viewing distance is over 80 cm.
