What Does MTS MODE Mean?

What does MTS mode mean ?
MTS means Mutli-Channel Television Sound. The MTS function lets you select from the following sound options:
- Mono: Select for channels broadcasting in mono or if your having difficulty receiving a stereo audio signal.
- Stereo: Select for channels broadcasting in stereo.
- Secondary Audio Program (SAP): Select to listen to the Secondary Audio Program, usually a foreign language translation of the program you are watching. The translations are most often in Spanish or French.
