La heladera es muy buena pero el dispenser y fabrixa de hielo no están a la altura. El sistema de ingesta de agua es totalmente restrictivo haciendo q sea casi imposible que funcione con una presión domiciliaria lo q trae varios inconvenientes. No llena un vaso ni en un minuto, hace poco hielo o incompleto. El hielo se acumula en la boca de descarga y se une entre si haciendo que no dispense hielo ni granizado. La marca no da reapuesta

desde el 12 de enero de 2025, estoy reclamando por mi heladera. dejo de funcionar. Me encuentro en Carilo. pcia de Buenos Aires. Solo funciono un mes y medio... Reclame muchas veces...y me dijeron que Samsung no tiene asistencia tecnica para esa zona...(y me pregunto por que venden). Tuve que poner abogados y llegar a una mediación judicial para que alguien me asista con la heladera. Luego de 3 meses, me escribieron desde CABA preguntándome el problema...TODO ESTO ES UNA PESADILLA, y no entiendo por que destratan al cliente asi...(en otro país, les valdria un juicio...). tengo ademas 12 electrodomésticos mas en mi casa....y solo tiemblo de pensar que pueda necesitar alguna asistencia

Good refrigerator. Ice maker is too small. The water dispenser is ridiculous! You have to either have a super wide mouth glass/cup to catch the water as it comes out of the dispenser. No way to know this at the store without a water hookup. You have to hold the glass out away from the back and push the dispenser area with your hand. There's no built in lighting mechanism to show you how full your glass is in the dark! I purchased two battery powered door key illuminators with double faced tape and stuck them up on the sides of the dispenser. They look like they belong there and work better than nothing. Cubed ice comes out basically crushed.

Purchased this refrigerator in black stainless and while generally the finish looks great, it's not stainless steel but some sort of plastic cover. This cover is easily scratched, especially by the crisper drawers which bump the outer side of the right refrigerator door when the door is open. Also, the ice maker is very slow to produce ice. We're a two-person household so usually it's enough but we always have to buy a bag of ice if we're going to entertain. I've been unable to find touch up paint to match the black stainless and Samsung support has been unhelpful. I would purchase Samsung appliances again but not in the black stainless finish.

Fridge and freezer works perfect. Had a samsung repair guy come out fro a brand new fridge broke out of the box because rhwy wouldn't gove me a new one. guy dosent even know how to remove the ice maler and yanked my plastic parts on ice maler to the point of it not seating flush anymore. also left with out wiping out my ice shoot where he spilt a bunch of water so I had a clogged frozen ice shoot. Not happy with Samsing quality control or there service techs. Save your self the time and get another brand refidgerator.

An hour later , after trying to scan every QR code available, and trying to add it to my smartthings app, i discovered by google that this particular refrigerator did not have wifi available. It would be good if you didn't include those instructions with models that don't have wifi. Other than that so far so good! We would also love a paper manual, i know you can get it online, but we didn't know you had to set the temperature before.It would start going down after being plugged in in a few other little details.

The compartments are designed to have just the right amount of space and are made of durable material. The exterior metal has stayed shiny and the inside is easy to clean. However, the ice machine is a bit faulty, the ice gets stuck or is depleted quickly due to the small container which takes a very long time to refill, if ice is important you may want to opt for a fridge with a different ice machine for better efficiency. Also, the beeping sound feature when the door is left open has saved my grandma a couple times as she's very forgetful and forgets to shut the door. Overall a simple but good enough fridge.

Unfortunately May 2024 I bought 6 Samsung appliances. [Refrigerator] RS27T5200SR/AA The refrigerator works. But it doesn’t allow you to change shelf height. If you want to have things the height of a 2 liter soda or wine bottle it only fits on certain shelves on the door. The only way I can store a frozen pizza is diagonally, total space killer. The ability to move or change shelves would be amazing. I need to learn the settings but so far there have been issues with certain spots in the refrigerator being colder than others. How is ice still spraying all over the place in 2024. The exterior doesn’t really handle fingerprints well and doesn't handle hard water stains.

i've had this refrigerator for less than a year and am on my 2nd service call for the same issue- the refrigerator is freezing my food with the temperature set to 37 deg f. the 1st time, the technician could not locate a problem with the diagnostic tools, so he just replaced the computer. he also suggested i get a surge protector for the fridge in case a power surge may have caused the issue. i did. it worked for a couple of months, and now the same thing is happening again. after reading reviews, this is an ongoing issue for multiple customers and samsung is not fixing the issue. i called the customer service line and found that the warranty is a repair warranty only.

Rather than a knob which only has to be turned to change settings, the panel requires holding a button for three seconds before you can make the adjustments. It has taken a month and I finally got there by trial and error, but the new settings will have to stay. The online user manual does not say where the coils which have to be cleaned are located, or if it even has coils! The manual says not to remove the bottom rear panel. It would also be nice if the interior shelves and door shelves could be adjusted to different heights.

I emptied out my smaller refrigerator and didn’t think I had that much food in it, but once I started moving everything over, I realized just how much space this refrigerator actually has. I was able to fit everything with plenty of room left, and the freezer has a lot of space too. It also cooled down pretty quickly after we got it set up. Overall, I’m really happy with the size, storage space, and how well it’s cooling. The only thing I wish it had was SmartThings/app connectivity so I could monitor and manage it from my phone.

It is too far forward requiring one to use both hands to pour a glass of water, on my old fridge I was able to use just one hand to pour a cup. Also I do not think the glass shelves are as sturdy as they only have plastic edging on the front and back as opposed to around the entire shelf. My old refrigerator had framework all the way around so if something spills on one shelf it was confined to that particular shelf. Lastly, my old refrigerator had adjustable shelf notches in both the door and main body of the unit this one does not.

The door racks are big plenty of room for larger things. Has a digital temperature gage on the inside edge nicely lit. Also has a beeping sound if left opened longer than it should. I have one small problem with the water and ice dispenser you have to have your hand behind the glass or it misses the glass and goes all over the place instead of the glass pushing on the switch a little awkward Is all.

i brought this almost 2yrs ago. since the beginning, it is almost impossible to figure out the ice machine. it is sporadic at best. most of the time the bin is empty than in the middle of the night it produces 3-4 tray. the water that comes out is luke warm at best never cold. we had a power failure due to hurricane ian. in less than 6 hours the refrig was reading 60degrees and the freezer was 40 and everything was melted. our 15yr old, non -samsung, frig/freezer in the garage had temps of 45degrees in frig and 10 in freezer with nothing melted. i love their tvs and phones but stay away from their appliances

We have had this refrigerator-freezer for a year and a half and the freezer is quitting on us. Like others here, we have many other Samsung electronics and rave about them. We expected similar quality from their appliances and this item is a dud. Right now the freezer only maintains 20deg (F) - frige is OK for now, so, we are moving everything to another freezer (older, different brand - works great). I have other refrigeration and freezing appliances that are 20 and 30-years old that never gave us a problem. Given current technologies, why can't Samsung build and sell something with similar quality?

my samsung refrigerator has performed well over the time i have owned it. i have only found two problems that i have been unable to overcome. the ice maker capacity and ice production is smaller and slower than the lg that i really enjoyed. from time to time we have had to buy bags of ice to fill the ice hopper. i wish it were more like the lg i so dearly loved, but unable to purchase. also, the refrigerator lower shelf in the rear seems to freeze much of the liquids when on the lower shelf to the rear of the refrigerator. we can't put the milk or juice in the back of the fridge on the lowest shelf.

This is the worst fridge I've ever own. The ice make broke 1 month after the warranty expired and Samsung refuses to cover it, even though the ice maker is a known issue and Samsung has faced several lawsuits over thier ice makers. They want to charge me hundreds of dollars to replace it. Before the ice maker broke, I had to make the freezer as cold as it would go just to get more than a cup of ice to be made in a day. I will never buy another Samsung product after my experience with this fridge, appliance or electronic. Samsung lost a customer for life by refusing to fix their faulty ice makers.

we bought this refrigerator to replace an old (19 years) whirlpool, and we're very happy with this unit with one *huge* exception: there is no light in the dispenser bay. so, when you walk in the kitchen at night to get ice or water, you have to turn on the kitchen lights to see what the refrigerator is doing. <facepalm> the interior has awesome led lighting, and why they didn't think to add this to the dispenser is beyond me. also, the need to turn the water off before replacing the filter is annoying, and i miss having a tray for cheese and butter and deli meat. however, those i can live with. if the refrigerator had lighting in the dispenser well, i would happily give it five stars.

I bought this refrigerator in May of 22'. It currently has fault code 21c and is completely inoperative. I will most likely not have this repaired. I'm out of full warranty, and only have the limited warranty remaining. So I would have to most likely pay to have a diagnostic visit, and for whatever repair costs incurred thereafter. Which doesn't bother me, however....it is less than two years old. What will happen in another two years? Probably another failure. More food and time wasted. I have no confidence in this product. I moved all of my freezer and refrigerator items into my twenty year old refrigerator. That is what I have my confidence in, and another brand when I have to buy again.

We are so happy to have a beautiful new appliance that combines beauty with outstanding performance. Here are a few things: The water dispenser spigot is too far forward from the activation plate, so unless you're using a very wide glass, the water misses and will spray all over you. Also the water dispenser isn't lighted, so you can't see when your glass is full...assuming that you've been able to position it properly. There is no deli-drawer included, so we had to purchase an add on. The vegetable crispers are not crispers...our produce goes bad in a day or two, something that I've never experienced in any other fridge. We love our house, but can't wait until we can afford a new refrigerator.

The down side is no light when using the Icemaker or water. Another downside (possibly because this is my first new fridge this size) is it is a bit on the noisy side. To explain this, basically it sounds like water bubbles. I did have a tech check it out, said everything was good. I love the LED lighting everywhere when I open the fridge, instead of just on the top, and the hidden handles are pretty cool. The downside to that is there is a little gap between doors. Overall, this fridge is a solid 4/5 stars (minus one for the no icemaker light and the door spacing) Samsung is a great product

We've had this refrigerator for roughly 3 years. The ice maker has been terrible from day one. The ice doesn't come out of the tray which causes leakage inside the freezer which ices up and them jams up the ice maker. We've had to thaw everything out several times and have finally just turned the ice maker off to avoid the ice all over the inside of our freezer. In addition, the ice maker has always been extremely slow. Takes forever to get a cup of ice. Also, there is no light on the outside, so when filling a cup at night, youre doing it blind. Extremely poor design. Would not buy again.

per the samsung rep, this makes 120 ice cubes/ day, thats 5 ice cube per/hr. so the storage capacity is small. the ice dispenser lags, need to give it breaks in between filling up an 8oz cup. the fingerprint resistance dont work, even after washing your hands. save your money and get a regular fridge. we decided on this fridge ,because of how sleek it looked and the fingerprint resistant. we bought a samsung washer and dryer,on the same day as the fridge. hopefully the washer and dryer features, it says it has, actually exist. there was no incentive to buy all samsung. we chose samsung because we assumed the appliances would be like the samsung phone technology,exceptional features and quality

had this refrigerator for 3 months before the compressor fails. it took a service tech 2 weeks to investigate. now another 1.5 weeks to order the compressor. so nearly a flipping month without a refrigerator!!!! a toaster, tv or microwave failure we could live without for a couple weeks. a dead refrigerator means no cold food storage!! and no urgency on samsung’s behalf to resolve a critical appliance!!! i purchased a $50 30-year old refrigerator for my son 7 years ago and it still runs flawlessly. what do i get for this $1500 purchase? a dead refrigerator with little care of getting it resolved! i”ll consider this an expensive lesson to never buy samsung again!! your service is pathetic!!!!

I bought it without seeing in person but the capacity is perfect for our family and the storage space was roomier than I expected. Something that was mentioned on many reviews both at Google and my retailers site was it was very slow to produce ice and the manual seemed to confirm this; we didn’t find that to be the case. It produced two full bins in the first several hours which we dumped to be sure it was free of impurities but it filled again in a few hours. We’ve only had it installed a few days but are very satisfied so far.

i purchased a samsung because of the name recognition an previously having purchased components of theirs before. i have had the fridge for seven months and it has performed great until now. the freezer has quit working. it will only cool down to about 40 degrees. i read reviews saying that this is common and that the fridges do not have a long life span. i hope that this is the only issue i have with it but think that the quality samsung claims to have that this is poor quality components. i have had to go buy another refrigerator until the service department from the company i bought it from comes out to fix it. again i understand things do happen and that this is the only instance. i do love the fridge.

The freezer door comes with 3 spots for bins only 2 are included.. I called to get the missing one and was told 2 times it would be sent to me. A few weeks later I got an email from claims saying it was not included. I emailed him back twice willing to pay for it. I never got a response. I called Samsung again to purchase this bin and they couldn't find the part.. There are notches at the bottom of the freezer door for a third bin but the two other bins do not fit in the bottom. Samsung then told me to call parts . After a lot of searching the gentleman told me he could not find this bin. I don't understand how you can make a freezer door with notches for a third bin but not make the third bin to fit it.

It has a lot of space and keeps everything nice and cold without any noticeable temperature changes. The freezer has also been working well and we have not had any problems with frost building up. The doors close and seal nicely, and the refrigerator is pretty quiet most of the time. We also really like the black stainless steel finish. It looks great in the kitchen and does a pretty good job of hiding fingerprints and smudges. Overall, it has been a good refrigerator for our family and we are happy with the purchase.

The ice maker takes so long to actually dispense ice. It doesn’t really “crush” the ice when you select that option. My big issue is that it says it’s stainless steel, but NO magnets stick to my fridge doors. I’ve tried different ones just to make sure I’m not crazy. The weird thing is, I have other stainless steel appliances and the magnets stick to them just fine. So I have no way of hanging anything on the fridge (other than tape) and my kids can’t play with the fridge alphabet magnets or anything similar. It’s a shame bc I love displaying my kids’ artwork and pictures.

this review is about the purchase experience only. i ordered this online and the initial delivery date was supposed to be 2 weeks. a day before my scheduled delivery, they email me and tell me my date has been pushed back another 3 weeks. i've already requested off and can't recover the day. contacted customer service and they won't guarantee that my date will change again. never a manager available when i ask. every time i contact chat services it's a different reason why i can't get a manager (one rep maryelis told me all the supervisors are in a meeting with the managers and she can't get one for me) supposedly they'll call me back in 24-48 hours. avoid ordering online at all cost. this will be my last time.

The doors on this baby are beautiful and unlike some manufacturers that market their stainless as fingerprint resistant this model is actually fingerprint resistant providing your hands are clean. This fridge cools down very fast, it reached operating temps in maybe under 4 hours ! While others can take up to 24 hours that was a huge plus. I love the digital thermostat no guess work of what temp is number 3 or what temp does the 4th bar represent this model lets you pick the temp and the readout shows you the actual temp of freezer and fridge. The unit is very spacious and with a well thought out design for example the water filter is front facing and located at the bottom so easy compared to my old Amana fridge.

my boyfriend and i moved into our home last november. the sellers had left their appliances for us. one being this fridge. all in all, this is a pretty good fridge. the ice maker is awful. it creates quite a bit of ice but then there seems to be something causing it to melt and become one big chuck, therefore, not allowing ice to come down into your cup. we've checked the seal by doing the "pour water down the ice chute to make sure there are no leaks. none. not one drop. also, the fridge may be fingerprint resistant, but don't put anything on the front of it. we had several different types of magnets on in and if they move "at all" you get tiny scratches all over it. now the front of our fridge is all scratched up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Samsung side-by-side to replace an 11-year-old fridge that failed with icing issues on the refrigerator side. It works and has more rated capacity (27 cu ft) vs the 24 cu feet of our original machine. But it’s a lower trim level than our older fridge. It has fewer drawers (no deli drawer) and didn’t gain any shelves, so the effective storage is no better. It also doesn’t have a butter shelf on the door - just a standard shelf without a swinging door. Meanwhile, the energy efficiency is rated worse than the original unit, probably due to less insulation.

They can hold 2 gallons each, which helps save room on the shelves for food. It has two large drawers that keep the veggies and fruits nice and crispy. It also stays at a nice cold 37 to keep all the food fresh. I like the door warning tht goes off after it's been open for 2 mins. Helps me keep the kids out. On the freezer side, it has lots of room as well. The drawer helps to keep the loose things together and out of the way. I haven't had any issues with the ice maker/water thing. It keeps us in fresh ice which is nice. Overall, this is a fantastic fridge and great for a family.

Bought a house with this fridge in it and it sucks. I brought my other samsung 3 door fride from other house and use both; Mine for bottom freezer and light weight quiet closing door and this one just for basic stuff and water and ice. No water tray on bottom, freezer door always SLAMS shut, never closes quietly, other side door opens out and swings few times on its own. It's not even loaded, just few soda bottles. The fridge is tilted 5 degrees backwards but that doesnt help. Overall, very cheap design, poor quality, the right bottom shelf is always freezing whatever you put there (the vent is too low) and the water tube under the dispenser grows mold after a while so i have to wipe it with a towel every time i use it!

The lighting makes it easy to find everything with ease. There is so much more room in this product than the previous frig that we had in the same space. I was able to adjust the placement of the shelves so I can organize the refrigerator the way I want it. The outside finish does not leave any smudges. I am not having to wipe down the outside of it daily. The shelves in the freezer are a little narrow. A medium size pizza box fits flat on a shelf.

I changed it and held the button for 3 seconds and nothing. Not a major issue. I like that it keeps my food really cold in the fridge which in turns keeps my food a little longer. It can get irritating when I leave the door open and it starts dinging for me to close it. This is beneficial as I have forgotten to close it and walked to another part of the house and heard its terrible sound which made me check. I am a life long Samsung user and I am very happy. If you are looking for a basic fridge with ice maker and water than this is for you. I love it and don't need all the bells and whistles.

We find it easier to organize food in the freezer over the bottom drawer we had before. This unit is sleek and modern with no handles which makes it appear a higher end unit. Plenty of space for all our usual inventory of food. Only disappointments are no deli drawer (Which we knew before purchasing) and no dispenser light which is listed as a feature but does not in fact have. Ice maker is great but having a hard time keeping up with us in the summer season (we use a lot of ice).

I bought this refrigerator thinking it was beautiful! Wishing the first month I dropped a thing of meat and it broke the inside of the freezer then all of the shelves in the refrigerator door broke! These are designed to hold milk. I had condiments in the door. I am so upset with my purchase. I have replaced many of the shelves to the point where I am not buying anymore! I will just get a new refrigerator not a Samsung. I also sale furniture and appliances at a store I will not be recommending Samsung to any of them. I will share my experiences with them.

The downside we've noticed so far is that after waiting the suggested 24 hours that we have to wait to use the fridge the actual fridge itself doesn't feel cold for my standard, despite having the suggested temperature of 37° f, and we barely open the fridge to keep it cold, yet the food and drinks still don't feel that's cold as the other fridges we've had. Aside from this, the ice maker barely makes any ice, and since the water is on the warmer side, we need it, and it takes a long time for it to get made

It's true that my house was built in the 70's and the water supply hose extends from the water heater to the refrigerator in the kitchen, but even so, he only said that the company only gives you a little hose and not a big one until you reach the water heater. BUT BESIDE THAT EVERYTHING RUNS GOOD.

Don’t get the build up of food in the bottom like you do with the big freezer down below type. No screen control on the outside which fails after a few years- good. Fridge layout much easier to store/find and access food/bottles etc. Much more space in the fridge door. Samsung app is very imposing asks for to much information to get an account started. The app is also very disorganized to use- terrible in fact.

She had no idea that a refrigerator could make her day to day life easier. Also the capacity it has far surpasses her old fridge and the cooling is far more efficient. We were able to match the finish with her stove and microwave so her kitchen is perfect. The ergonomics are amazing especially with her last surgery, I think her last refrigerator would have been a problem for her. We haven't noticed any Condensation thus far but I can update you on that in a year or so.

We have lots of space in the doors thanks to all the shelves. I love that! Sauces, salad dressings etc, have their place. That leaves room on the shelf for the food. Plenty of room for that too. Then there’s the freezer. Lots of usable space. We have not filled it yet, but look forward to using it more especially during the holidays. We are enjoying the exterior water and ice dispenser. I like how tall the space is, you can fit a water bottle in there! Nice!

This was purchased as a replacement for our RF28HFEDBSR/AA which had it's ice maker break out of warranty and Samsung wanted us to fix it on our dime, that fridge is now under a class action suit and Samsung are replacing them because of the bad ice maker design. Well this differently designed ice maker comes with a very similar issue, it is also unusable just out of warranty and again it's on us to take on the burden of repair, yet unfortunately this one isn't under the lawsuit so I am left appealing to Samsung to do the right thing and get us a working fridge. They stopped even putting in door ice dispensers in new models because the airflow causes issues with them yet I have to pay for a repair which clearly won't solve a design issue.

bought the refrigerator 5/3/2020. after two months the ice maker froze up. had to thaw it out. then the freezer was causing freezer burn on everything. after about 6 months the ice maker froze up again. we figured out you can’t do the crushed ice. can only do regular. very disappointing since one of the reasons we bought it was for the crushed ice. on 5/25/2021 refrigerator and freezer go out completely. only had for one year. bought the extended warranty on it. it is now 6/18 and the issues to get it fixed is ridiculous. i do not recommend this.

For accessibility, it is a little hard to open doors fully because of the space in my kitchen. My pantry sits at aslant and the doors dont open all the way against that slant. The fridge cools all the way around. I also like the smart things app on the phone. Hate that it does not have the snack pan. Have to get us3d to the menu on the inside of the refrigerator. Not sure how to control all of the features yet.

Refrigerator maintains temperature well. Plenty of room but the small ice bin is troublesome. A family of four or more likely would not appreciate this. The extra ice bin I keep in the freezer eliminates the benefit of the space-saver ice bin. The outside walls are fingerprint-resistant but the doors are not which seems strange. Also, there is no light at the door water and ice dispenser. This is a bit irritating. Overall, it is a good refrigerator. There are just a few options that I did not consider carefully enough before buying.

Our previous refrigerator was about the same size, but it lacked the functional design that this refrigerator has. I'm so happy that I can actually place our drinks in the upward position. I love the features on this model. I can adjust the freezer and fridge to a specific temperature, lock the settings, turn off the ice maker if I chose to and set an open door alarm. I have to say that my favorite feature is the ice maker because I can have crushed it! The evenness of the cooling throughout the fridge is perfect and it is well lit. We also love that it comes with a ten year warranty and it is easy to clean. We are glad we made this purchase.

it’s an upgrade for us, but still lacking for the price. i feel like this about be about $150 less. pros - no handles sticking out lots of room nice shelving depth stainless is pretty nice no filter can be seen cons - needs way more light in both the freezer and fridge in a 4100k color temp to light the bottom half. why is there no design for light in the back bottom half? the ice maker is absolute garbage. it barely makes enough ice in a day to appreciate that its even making it, lol. the design is medciocre and the hook takes quite awhile to grab ice. you’ll get half a chunk of ice vs. crushed. no drip tray design. overall, yes, a nice upgrade, but i feel like the price should be quite a bit less based on those 2 things. lighting and ice maker.

The convenient opening and closing mechanisms are imbedded in the sides of the doors..........very smart! Love the fingerprintless print material that covers the door. The capacity is noteworthy. And the ice-maker DOES NOT DRIP after filling, which my old one was guilty of. The whole appliance is very impressive and really updates my kitchen. The only negative I can note is that the on-line manual has VERY SMALL PRINT.

Took a couple of times to get the correct temperature setting for the refrigeration side. But was finally able ti set the ideal temperature for all refrigerated items. Product could use a light where the water and ice dispenser is located. The shelving is adequately spaced but would be better if there were more side mounted notched tracks/ shelf ladders in order to adjust the shelves up or down. The bins on the refrigerator door are evenly spaced and currently appear to be able to hold heavy items( gallon of milk, orange juice,etc). Shelf supports are thick and look sturdy. Accessibility is adequate. Haven't experienced any condensation. The nickle finish is very smooth and easy to clean.

i love my new samsung refrigerator! it’s so sleek & stylish. it’s very roomy, well lit & super quite. i love that the ice maker is in the door leaving more room in the freezer. the water dispenser is tall enough for a large glass. after the installation, we had to check it to make sure it was working it’s that quite. the delivery was awesome, they came in (masks & gloves) got the old fridge out & brought in & installed the new fridge all in less than 30 minutes! i purchased on a thursday & it came the next tuesday, so quick.

It is HUGE &amp; holds so much more than my previous fridge. It makes ice quickly and the bin was full in a few hours. The shelves a deep &amp; wipe clean easily. I would have liked some door handles but we are getting used to the hidden ones. I love that I can keep my gallon of milk in the door shelves. It also runs very quietly. We were unsure if was even on at first because its so quiet. Overall, highly recommend.

It doesn't have Wi-Fi, it doesn't have special storage bins, no exterior screen, just 3 simple indicator lights and cheap buttons. It doesn't even have a night light on the ice/water dispenser. For the price of this refrigerator I suggest look for other brands or search a HUGE discount or offer if you're gonna buy it. If you can't FULLY open your doors (180 degrees) you wont be able to fully open your storage drawers, so be mindful on your kitchen space.

The water dispenser area is now big enough to fit our sports bottles, and we now have ice AND water from the same dispenser! Plus, with the ice now in the door, there is waaay more space in the freezer. Actually, this fridge DOES feel roomier, and all in the same amount of space our old fridge took up. I am so satisfied! Looking forward to this next decade with my new Samsung fridge. :)

Our fridge is easily assessable for our children to open and close. I haven’t noticed any built up condensation which is a plus for us. The fridge has the water/ice dispenser outside which we enjoy. I just wish the placement of the water dispenser was pushed back some because depending on the size of cup we use to get water sometimes it misses the cup. Overall we are really pleased with our purchase.

1stt, the ice maker has no drip tray. the water spout drips . 2nd, the ice maker does not have a light. when i get a drink in the night, i can’t see the ice maker. i have to turn on the kitchen light to see. it wakes me up completely and when i return to bed, i can't go back to sleep. also, the ice maker takes 6 hours to make ice. i have to keep trays in the freezer which defeats the purpose of having an ice maker. the water spout is too far out and water runs down the side of the glass when dispensing. 3rd, the shelves are not movable. there is not enough space between shelves for a gallon of milk. the shelves cannot hold tall containers. i know the door has gallon shelves, but my past experience shows that, overloading the door with weight causes the hinge to fail.

Samsung has done an impressive job with this new fridge with the new no protruding handle model. The handles are built into the edge of doors with grooves that eliminate the need to install door handles after delivery. Also the way Samsung has created it's new full visibility shelving system with tempered glass and slim edges, you can see exactly where everything is right away. And because everything is so slim, adjusting and sliding the shelves up and down is so easy to do. Also, I love the extra wide door shelves. I can fit everything from gallon size milk to 2 liter bottles with ease and plenty of space to put even more. What an awesome fridge.

the first criteria i had was storage capacity, followed closely by price. storage capacity is huge, with the perfect balance of square footage between the fridge & freezer. side-beside refrigerators are no longer so popular, but are a far more efficient use of space, especially in the freezer vs the pull-out drawer type, which waste a ton of space accommodating sliding drawers etc. samsung's stainless steel finish has a richness & depth to it that no other brand comes close to, & this combined with this appliances design aesthetic made it a simple choice for me. pro's huge capacity simple, elegant design door mounted ice maker deep freeze setting -8°f excellent interior lighting cold air circulation con's needs 1 more shelf in fridge no lighting over ice/water dispenser

Got the stainless steel and looks great with our other appliances, has the extra large water dispenser, but the 40oz stanleys the Mrs uses fit snug for water might not be able to get it far enough back for ice will find out when its cooled down enough and starts making ice, 42oz Yeti fits no problem. Quickly cooling down and has a power cool feature that works!

i chose this fridge due to the space it held. i like the layout & space. having the ice maker built into the door saves space in the freezer. when i store milk gallons on the bottom shelf along the back wall, they will freeze. we chose the black stainless steel after having a hard time finding a plain black fridge. the black stainless steel is very pretty but sensitive. it definitely does show fingerprints, watermarks, etc & also scratches easily. we have only had it a little over two months and it already shows scuffs on the doors & we have no idea where they came from. it is a fragile finish & the scuffs show quite a bit on this surface. i like the space of the fridge, but if you are concerned about scuffs & external durability, definitely choose a different type of finish.

The functionality of the icemaker is poor. Without warning, the ice "clogs" in the chute and ice will not dispense until one removes the ice bin, empties it and clears any clogged ice [or uses a hair dryer or hot water to clear accumulated frost or small pieces of ice]. Though the other features of the refrigerator are acceptable, this negative aspect is frustrating and time consuming to the consumer. This has not been a one-time problem for us -- it has happened many times during our time of ownership.
