La technologie PCIe NVMe™ intégrée offre des vitesses en lecture/écriture séquentielle pouvant atteindre respectivement 1050/1000 Mo/s, ce qui rend le T7 presque deux fois plus rapide que le T5.1

Un design conçu pour durer

SSD signifie « Solid State Drive », ce qui veut dire que le disque ne comporte aucune pièce mobile. And the blue colorway looks really sharp — way nicer than I expected from product photos. Setup was dead simple. Plugged it in, it was recognized instantly, no fuss. Works great across my laptop and desktop without any issues. If you're on the fence — just get it. The T7 connects over fast USB 3.x, so file transfers feel almost as quick as working from built‑in storage. My only regret is not buying the 2TB version.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the Samsung T7 Portable SSD 1T approximately 1 year ago, and it is one of the BEST Samsung products I have ever purchased. Pros: It's extremely lightweight and small (especially for how much memory it holds), SUPER easy to connect to & disconnect from phones, tablets, and laptops. Cons: If it's your first time using an external drive, definitely recommend using it first on a laptop, so that you can make sure it's formatted correct. I tried using it with my Samsung S24 Ultra and struggled to tell if it was properly formatted or if I was messing things up. It would help if there was a legitimate Samsung certified How-To video regarding setting up, first time use on a laptop, a phone, and a tablet since each device has different ways your supposed to "disconnect" the SSD. Everything in-between: I know that the speed at which items are downloaded or uploaded has a lot to do with the devices as well as the cable that one is using to transfer the data. It took a LONG time to back up my pictures (I dont remember exactly how long) but I know I fell asleep while it was transferring just to wake up a few hours later with an "are you still there" type of message.... Not sure if this was from my phone or the SSD, but I was aggravated so I stopped backing stuff up for that day. I did use the cable that came in the package, but after researching it, apparently it's not the type of cable one needs to get the advertised data transfer speed. Lastly, I've definitely dropped mine at least 3 to 5 times, from various heights but no further that approximately 4 - 4.5 feet. There are some scratches from it moving around in my backpack (along with my pens and other like items) and Knicks from being dropped, however it still looks relatively new and still shiny!

I boot my laptop with the driver plugged into the USB port and am presented with a menu from which I can either boot Linux from the T7 or Windows from the internal SSD. The responsiveness of the drive is such that I feel as though I'm running Linux from an internal SSD. I love the drive. I've also got a 2TB drive about which I've not yet decided how I will put it to use. The drive is physically very small and very durable. I purchased a case that holds both drives securely.

It doesn't disconnect randomly either, which is an issue I had with some of my thumb drives. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone who takes lots of photos and want's some storage space. However, the reason why it's four stars for me is that transferring larger files or saving updated files does take a bit (as in hefty programs like clip studio pro and adobe after effects, etc.)

I'm a photographer so digital storage is a must, and having 1 TB will hold me over for a bit. Having a device that is portable is a definite bonus. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My portable SSD(blue) fell out of my pocket because I put it in the same pocket where I kept my small-change(bus-fare)...Anyways, I started to jog across the cross-walk, and as I removed my hand with a small fist-full of coins; here also my Brand-New Samsung SSD comes flying out of my pocket..! As I watch helplessly, it seems like everything is happening in slow-motion. When my SSD hit the pavement, it hit the very corner and edge of the device and continued spinning and I was sure it was now broken and useless...But do you know, what? when I picked it up finally, there wasn't even a scratch AND it worked perfectly! TY for such a durable device.

Terrible. Il existe un gros défaut de conception dans la prise meme USB-C. Le contact n'et pas franc. Le format USB 1 était bin plus contactant. Du coup il se déconnecte de manière incompréhensible. Je recommande ce produit pour son concept et sa vitesse de transfert sur papier, mais une fois entre nos mains, il devient un objet impossible à toucher par peur qu'il se déconnecte. C'est nul de la part des gens qui sont des ingénieurs incapable de concevoir des formats fiables. On préférerait tous une version avec un "Click" indiquant un contact à 100% indéconnectable.

It is super fast and as long as you have a newer laptop/ desktop, you won't skip a beat. With Windows 11, your computer will think it is permanently attached.
