Galaxy Z Fold8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the white Galaxy Z Fold 8, and I’m genuinely very impressed with it. The biggest improvement for me is the battery life. It lasts noticeably longer than my previous Z Fold 7, and I rarely have to worry about running out of battery during the day. I also really like the new anti-reflective coating on the display. It makes a noticeable difference, especially when using the phone outdoors or under bright lighting, and the screen looks fantastic. But probably my favourite thing about the Z Fold 8 is simply taking it out with me. The white version looks incredibly clean and premium, and I’m honestly surprised by how often people ask me what phone I’m using. Almost every time I go out, someone notices it or asks about it because they think it looks beautiful and unique. It might sound like a small thing, but I genuinely enjoy that feeling. It makes the phone feel special, and I’m quite proud to carry it around. Overall, this is easily my favourite Fold so far — excellent battery life, a beautiful display, and a design that really stands out.

This is my first foldable device and to be honest, I've been reluctant to make the switch but boy am I glad I did. The cover display on its own is so useful, I find I use it for every day stuff like emails and answering messages. But when I want to do a bit more, I open the phone and use that amazing large screen. That hinge mechanism is a thing of beauty! Battery life has been solid and is getting better each day as the phone optimises things. On my third charge I had about 35% left at the end of the day. Performance wise, the responsiveness of the display and OneUI is so slick and speedy. Awesome. My one remaining question mark is over durability but that will be answered in the time to come. The device certainly feels solid so I am expecting good things.

The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

Being visually impaired i wanted a bigger acreen but it has to be still compack to fit inside a pocket. The fold 8 does thos perfectly. The size of both screens really ompreased me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 for a while, it really feels like Samsung finally cracked the code on what a foldable phone should be. First off, the pocketability is a night-and-day difference compared to older models. It’s way thinner and lighter now, so it actually feels like a normal phone in your pocket instead of a heavy brick dragging down your jeans. The biggest game-changer is the new cover screen. It’s smaller, shorter, and wider—almost shaped like a little passport. Ditching that weird, super-tall "TV remote" shape means you can actually type a quick message on the outside screen without constantly hitting typos. It just feels natural in one hand. But when you open it up, that inner screen is fantastic. Because the phone is wider, the inside display opens into a huge, immersive canvas that’s absolutely perfect for watching videos, reading comics, or scrolling through media. Everything looks bright and crisp, and reading digital pages feels effortless. Battery life easily gets you through a full day of heavy use. You don't have to constantly hunt for a charger mid-afternoon, even if you’re spending a lot of time on the big screen. As for the cameras, they’re solid. You’re getting crisp, punchy photos that look great right out of the camera, and using the partially folded screen as its own little tripod for hands-free shots never gets old. Overall, if you want a massive screen in your pocket without the usual foldable bulk, the Z Fold 8 hits a real sweet spot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im sure the specs are top notch. But the thing that's bothering me is the design choice of the folded situation. Not traditional. Looks more of a small tile slab than a phone. Its gonna fit weirdly in my pocket for sure. Great camera as usual.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this phone. The screen size, picture quality, seeing yourself as you take selfies, double sided recording. I am not tech savvy but always wanted a better phone and from Samsung A12 to Fold 8 is a huge improvement finally. Battery seems to be depleting rather quickly for a new phone but might be my usage since I am in love with it It is quite responsive and quick to load sites and videos. As for durability and the hinges and the fold of the screen remain to be seen..

I was worried the slightly smaller battery would be an issue but it is far outlasting my previous S23 ultra. The outer display is perfect for messaging or quick socials and the inner screen is fantastic for sitting and reading. The new form factor is really comfortable. The wider screen but smaller footprint is perfect for on the go. Really enjoying it so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight of the box i thought what a cool phone. Easy to set up,had it next to my S24 and it picked my phone up instantly. The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size, it feels really sturdy and has durability. The hinge is a lot smoother than I was expecting and I love the way it feels. The folded out display is really nice and has more responsiveness than I expected from such a thin device. I have not really pushed the battery yet, however a charge lasts me my work day and with fast charging is full after around 2 hours.

You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. It's super fast, holds a charge forever, and the inner display crease is barely there – you actually forget you have a tablet that folds in half! Seriously great, no regrets.

At just 201g, it's the lightest book-style foldable yet and feels much more pocketable. Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

The Galaxy Fold phones are a fantastic range, I have had one since the Fold 4 and I am now upgrading from the Fold 6 to the Fold 8 with it's revolutionary new screen shape!!
