This watch is just a pain. Most days the battery can last a whole day, some days can't even make it to midday, and I charge every night. If you then put it on charge the phone goes in the huff as it cannot connect and drains the phone battery. Which idiot designs such a setup? I currently have both the phone and watch charging for the second time today due to this stupid arrangement. The fitness tracker is nowhere near accurate, it is about 2000 steps short on a normal day and cannot track cycling at all. It overheats and switches off even just sitting on my wrist doing nothing, done it today in my car at 15C! How did it manage to overheat?

The Galaxy Classic watch is all this and that, but it spends more time charging than on my wrist. I had the previous Galaxy Watch which lasted poss 2 and a bit days before charging it, and twist the wrist and it lights up to show time, maybe with power saving on. But the new 1 doesn't do that with power saving on. Need to turn it off to do that and then watch literally lasts 8hrs with power saving off and bout 12hr with it on. But if strip it back to BASIC WATCH mode, apparently it lasts for several days! If you don't mind wearing a watch for a couple of hrs a day then leaving it on charge, buy it! If not, i recommend not buying it!

I was SO excited to read about this watch and to receive mine, I love and use all Samsung products. Order processing and delivery were super quick which is great, the watch looks and feels lovely, its great quality. The downside however is the battery, it literally drains before my eyes and despite the Samsung claiming it lasts a couple of days i'm charging less than every 24 hours, goodness knows how the watch will perform when I actually use it in the gym. The one activity I would also love to use it for, SUP isn't available either. Super disappointed, really expected more from this product

My W4 arrived this morning and I have not stopped smiling.. all the things I would have improved on the W3 (which I loved) have been improved.. it is just the best and I am fallen in love again.. my son is really annoyed as he purchased an Apple Watch 4 weeks ago and the W4 can do a few things he can't (nice). I did agonise over upgrading, would it be worth it.. well it was 100% worth it. Looks great, feels great, had lots of fun setting it up (adding apps that I couldn't before), set up the ECG, the list goes on. Thank you Samsung.. this is just amazing.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife assuming it would have a battery life and features to match my older Samsung watch. It has turned out to be a total waste of money. The battery life is so poor it will not last a full 24 hours. Simply makes a mockery of having a sleep monitor, as if you wear it overnight it will be flat the next morning and need to be left on charge for hours. How can samsung go so far wrong. Add to that the battery life was originally advertised as being longer, pre release of the watch. Never again.

Brilliant smart watch, awful fitness watch. The watch itself is good, being able to customise the design and all the things it can do as a 'phone' are great. It's a terrible fitness tracker. It's not great at detecting steps I've noticed a huge difference since I stopped using my fitbit. It's even worse if im pushing a buggy it doesn't auto detect any form of movement whereas previously my fitbit would auto detect a bike workout. The GPS is not good either - not expecting it to be spot on obviously but it's way off in terms of distance when I go for a run. Overall really disappointed as I primarily wanted a fitness watch and the 'smart watch' aspect was just an added benefit for me. Considering how expensive if it is I don't think its worth the money. Definitely needs work on the fitness watch side.

The watch overall is good very good for fitness, and just being a active watch. The problem is the battery life! It takes about 50 minutes to charge but the battery will late about 5 to 6 hours before charging it again. If you connect your phone it will drain it very fast, answering the phone will drain it. It's sad to think the watch is quite good, but the battery is horrible samsung sort this battery life out please! If you like charging it 24/7 then the watch is for you

Watch is decent, straps are rubbish. Only had the watch just over a month and the strap has split, contacted live chat and they said they can't do nothing as the 28 day could own period has ended. Owned a galaxy watch 3 for over a year and never had a problem with the strap, so definitely poor quality on the watch 4 straps. Will be buying a 3rd party strap as wouldn't trust the official samsung straps to last much longer than a month.

This is my first ever smart watch and I was really excited when I decided to buy one. I bought it a couple of days after it was released. It is meant to have 1-2 days battery. I was lucky to get about 6 hours. I switched most of the features off and used it very little. One day it went from 75%- 20% in 2 hours when I was at work. The watch repeatedly over heats (sometimes every few minutes). For the short time it works, it is excellent but Samsung really needs to sort out the battery and the over heating problems. I was going to get a replacement, as I thought it was just faulty, but I have noticed a lot of people have had the same issues, therefore I have returned it. I will not be buying another Samsung watch anytime soon. 90% of the tech that I own is Samsung. I can't believe they have released this garbage. For once, I agree that apple have a for superior product.

I bought the Galaxy Watch 4 because I wanted the fitness elements of it. However, there's almost no point to it. If it records a 50 minute workout in time, the minutes that then add up in the heartrate monitoring section don't add up, and what's recorded in the heartrate monitoring then don't sync with the same numbers to the phone. Which means you might as well just make up what you think you did.

I was really excited to get a new smart watch. I got the pink/rose gold one and within a couple of hours the strap looked dirty, possibly a less porous strap would be better so it wouldn't attract the dye from clothes. Major point though: I used this for 3 days but even though it's cold in work it kept heating up and powering off to cool down then would come back on ages later but with the previously fully charged battery almost dead. I was offered a replacement which I have just received, sadly the pink wasn't in stock so have been sent the black which isn't as nice but I just hope it works. I'm very apprehensive now as seen so many reviews about them overheating, the courier who collected the old one and delivered the new one said he's already had 2 others today with the people telling him they've overheated. If I get the same problems again I'll he returning and choosing something else.

Works fine with my S10+ but not S21 Ultra 5G. Good watch, and an improvement over my galaxy watch 1, but not working as intended. Samsung need to do an update for UK users - seems USA based users already have the update / bug fix. It looks nice and that is about where it stops, BPM cant be used unless you own a Samsung phone. Battery life is shocking and I mean truly shocking, the device is marketed at health and fitness and I am not very mobile yet have power saving mode, so the screen doesn't turn on when I lift my wrist, I don't get notifications and it barely lasts a day

I was really excited of updating my Galaxy Watch Classic to the latest Watch 4 Classic 46MM but unfortunately have been soo disappointed with the reduced battery life. I love this Samsung galaxy watch 4, it has everything I need! I mostly use it for counting my steps whilst at work as I'm not allowed my phone out and it does a great job! I love the design and it's very light! I use the water resistant mode alot and I love that feature alot! Overall, I'm very happy with this watch and it's so worth the money!

I bought this watch for my husband who has just been diagnosed with epilepsy causing seizures. This watch has fall detection so I felt like this gave him independence, knowing if he should fall, I would be alerted. Well he’s just come flying off of his bike and his hands broke his fall but still the watch didn’t detect a fall. Absolutely rubbish

Feel very let down by the battery life of the watch 4 classic, not even getting 24hrs out of a full charge with basic use.that let down I'm thinking of returning it and going back you my Huawei gt which lasted all week. The sleep function is pointless on this watch as it's sat charging by bedtime. Overall unhappy and wouldn't recommend.

This watch is very stylish and i was looking forward to using the new fitness features such as fitness coach. Initially bought the 4G version as you couldnt pre-order the size and colour i wanted in the bluetooth version. I have since discovered that as I do not have a Samsung phone, the 4G connectivity doesnt work - surprisingly it doesnt mention this on the website anywhere, that I could find! I am really annoyed and disappointed about this and feel as if I have been conned as I have paid out for the watch which I now have to return and then wait for the refund. I have a Google pixel 5 which you would think would work with the watch considering they helped in making the software! Battery life is a bit pants too! Would not recommend unfortunately and would seem not many other people do either. Unfortunately Samsung seem to becoming much like Apple in that its their products on none at all, but at least you know that from the outset with Apple.

Absolutely terrible experience unless you have a Samsung phone. No ECG or Blood pressure monitoring. Worst of all no LTE functionality unless you have a Samsung phone on EE. What an absolute joke that is. Some Google partnership there Samsung Samsung customer support? My god noone there has a clue or able to help with anything

I bought this to replace an older Samsung smart watch to add LTE/4g. As I don't have a Samsung phone however I can't configure an esim so the 4g element can't be used. I either return it, buy a Samsung phone, or wait and hope it might be compatible with other phones in the future. Beware if you don't also own a Samsung phone.

This is a nice watch with a lot of great features. Unfortunately I've had to turn most of the features off to make the battery last the day, which defeats the reasons why I bought the watch. If it wasn't for the battery life it would be a great watch. It would also be good to have some more feminine watch faces as standard.

Huge backwards step. I get no email notifications and calendar only syncs for 1 week - no good as a smart watch, previous version better. The software is really good and cool as I upgraded from Active 2 to Watch4 but the only thing i found annoying is the way straps are designed it looks like too loose on the arms other than that the watch itself is really great. I would kindly request samsung to make the straps same as galaxy watch.

For the love of God PLEASE increase the sensitivity of the raise to wake function. It's absolutely shocking, some times it won't wake at all and I'm here vigorously raising my wrist and still nothing. It's the most frustrating thing in the world and is totally ruining the experience for me.

Have been waiting for this for a long time. The watch is amazing. It's so smooth and fast. Lot of health measurements. The LTE is amazing, I don't need to carry my phone while going for jogging. All in all Amazing watch. Love it.

Watch was a gift. Major selling point was BP and ECG monitoring. But guess what? They only work with a Samsung phone. My previous watch, which did very good BP, cost less than 10% of this watch. Duped !!!

It would be a 5 star review for all the great features and design but it is let down by the utterly pathetic battery. It needs charging every single day. the Fitbit versa 4 will last nearly a week!

I bought Samsung galaxy watch 4. Very poor battery life 1 day or 29 hours. I was travelling to India and battery died, also some it disconnected for my phone app.
