I've always loved having leather cases on my phones and so when I got the s24 ultra, it was no different. I liked the purple option they had available and ordered it ahead of receiving my pre-ordered phone. While this case looks nice and I love how snugly it fits around the cameras and buttons, it is not going to last long. Today is the 4th day it's been on my phone and the leather is already torn at the corners. I work from home and have yet to drop my phone on anything other than my bed yet it's already starting to look like my last case after two years of use. 10/10 on aesthetics 3/10 on quality

Like other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn’t seem like this case will last long. I have a handful of cases that I rotate between, and I’ve barely used this one a few times—yet it’s already peeling and scratched up. I typically keep my phone in a bag or the inside pocket of my suit jacket, so it’s not exposed to harsh conditions. I’d rather have traditional leather if it meant the case would last longer, especially for the high price. Samsung, you need to do better.

I really like this case. It's heavier and harder than what I expected, but liked it once installed. Two gripes I have with this case: [1] As mentioned by others, it is slippery [2] No holes for lanyards. I get it that since it's a hard case, it "may be" difficult for the manufacturer to put holes. But as a consumer, that's what I'm usually looking for when shopping for cases.

Got this as part of the pre-order bonus with the phone. The case is full polycarbonate so as such is very slippery in the hand, not grippy like with silicone. It seems to be protective enough without adding too much bulk. Cut outs are obviously perfect and buttons are nice and clicky. The USB cutout is sharp though so it will hurt if you're resting it on your pinky finger.

Bought the grey color which is close to white during the pre-sale of s24 ultra. I found it to be too sleepery that they easily slide, the corners are too sharp (for the ultra) that it regularly poke your palm if you use one hand to hold your phone, the case yellows especially the buttons, and very plasticky cheap felling. Not what I have expected for the price.

Rugged case but not what I hoped it would be due to the slippery surface. I took it off the phone, used sandpaper along the edges and backside, rinsed, dried with hairdryer, let cool, then put back on the phone. This helped the hand gripping of the phone. Not perfect, but a workaround for the time being until I find something more suitable.

Similar to previous Samsung leather cases, this is a minimalist case with a flat back that prevents the phone from wobbling. The "vegan leather" is fake leather, but it does feel reasonably nice and soft. I don't think it improves the grip much, and it hasn't replicated the supple feeling of leather. The sides are a hair below the screen surface, but the top and bottom walls lift up the screen when placed face down on flat surfaces. Camera and other hole cutouts are placed exactly where they should be, and the S Pen is still easy to access. Buttons are nice and clicky. The back surface is slightly above the camera lenses, so it provides some protection. If you're curious why the case is missing the Samsung branding this year, it's because this case is a "Designed for Samsung" case manufactured by Hochuen, a Chinese third-party company. I do kind of like that the case is devoid of branding on the outside. Pictures are of the black case with my S24 Ultra in gray.

The case has a good look, however, it's extremely slippery and even slides out of your pocket if you are wearing shorts. Used it on one occasion at the gym, it fell out of my pocket several times while doing sitting work outs. I whish they would have added some rubber grips on the lines on the back.

I just got the case before my phone came in. I'm glad it was a separate order since it is now sold out. It's slick on the sides more than I expected, hopefully it won't cause the phone to slip out of my hands. It's not a completely soft plastic, but not as much of a hard plastic like I was expecting.

I pre ordered my S24 Ultra with this case as an add-on over a year ago and have been using it daily ever since. I take good care of all my devices and accessories, and this case was no exception. Naturally, I've dropped the phone a few times during that period, it happens—but the case has held up well overall. The protection it offers is decent. That said, the back of the case does get a bit slippery over time, so I find myself wiping it down regularly to maintain a solid grip. I've noticed some other reviews mention damage to the corners, but I personally haven’t had that issue—mine are still in perfect condition. It might come down to user handling. One thing to note: this case really grips your phone. It’s quite a mission to take off, so if you have limited grip strength or change cases often, this might not be the best choice for you. All things considered, I’d give it a 3 out of 5. It does the job, but the slick back and how tough it is to remove knock off a couple of points for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO NOT BUY THIS CASE! Absolutely terrible. It looks ok but doesn't feel nice. Protection is terrible and the case damages if you look at it too hard. Leave it in the sun, the case will bend and not fit the phone. Drop it, you need a new case as its irreparably damaged.

The case itself is a more shinny silicone case with very little grip on the side. It does covers all aspects of the phone at the rear but at the front the lip rising above the screen is minimal - I would not be confident of its usage to protect my screen

I got the light gray shield case with my s24 ultra, and it has already started yellowing (especially on the buttons) after only 2 weeks of use. I am not able to return it for the yellowing according to samsung support.

Extremely slippery phone case. It's more slippery than the phone without a case. It's not usable. Nearly dropped my phone twice after putting it on. Had to stop using it.

It's a solid case, but very slippery. I have the Gray version and the side buttons have already turned yellow, with Samsung not having a clue or care.

I have been buying Samsung leather cases every year since the S10 because they are close-fitting, and don't slide out of my pocket or hands like a bare phone would, or grab at pockets like a silicone or rubberized case. All of my previous leather cases have, at worst, slightly worn through at one corner after a year. This product started wearing away at the corners within a month of receiving it, and has now worn through all four corners, entirely from going in and out of pockets. It has never been tossed onto anything harder than a mattress. This seems less sustainable than actual leather. The other name brands that still make leather cases generally use plastic for the top and bottom of the phone, because it is difficult difficult to form leather over such a sharp corner without a seam. I know Samsung and the other guys go back and forth on taking features from each other, but this year I would like Samsung to take "Put your best cameras in a phone that comes in two sizes with round corners that won't destroy pockets" from the competition. I do like the color, and the flush lens cutouts and buttons on Samsung's cases are always better than third party cases, except for the S21U where it had a giant plastic and metal plate that stuck out. Probably the best option for non phone-droppers who own the S24U.
