I got this phone in December 2023, and there was a minor upgrade to the storage and the RAM tier from the Galaxy A7 (2017), which was 3 GB with 32 GB tier, and it became 4 GB with 64 GB tier. The battery was excellent, and there were some advanced features that nobody else had. But after several months in 2024, I started facing problems that included slow performance when I unlocked my phone after a restart or when I powered on the phone and the Wi-Fi disconnections. Also, after I received the major One UI 7 update in the late July 2025, I started facing critical problems frequently, including the touchscreen is not working for some time (not every time) when I open the phone from the lock screen, and the worst thing ever is that it keeps restarting unexpectedly (especially every night) even while I'm sleeping, using it, while it's still charging, and while I'm not touching it or operating it. Also, the only improvement after the One UI 7 update is that the performance wasn't so laggy and it was decent when I unlocked my phone after a restart or when I powered on compared to One UI 6.
