However, once every couple weeks it will ask me to restart my phone because it is running too slow. I have taken it in to get looked at but am told that it's running fine. I do not regret the phone I choose but do find it strange.

Well sadly I broke that phone then went to an A16, wasn't great but did the job. Broke that phone, bought a Galaxy A17 5g and it did the job but still wasn't my A52...also broke that phone, sadly I wasn't doing well with funds so I just bought a A17 5g again because with my luck, phones, and water and the gravity my luck has ran out. I miss the A52 it ran better with just an extra 2gb of ram, never had issues. I'll hopefully get a Samsung Galaxy S something or another the last one I had over ten years ago was like an S 8 or something been a while.

My favorite features are the screen which looks amazing and the security features in the phone which gives me piece of mind that Samsung is protecting my privacy and cares about protecting my information. Another feature that sets this phone apart from the competition is it provides a lot more feature and security upgrades than is typical for smartphones at a similar price point. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G phone for a phone that makes you feel you bought a much more expensive phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not as good as my last Samsung phone, replace my Samsung 26 in March thinking I was upgrading, I had that phone for 4 years and it was running slow, and I had the chance to upgrade it, so I bought the Samsung A17A and it worked good for about a month. Now it's as slow as my my old phone pictures are okay and I hate the fact that it doesn't automatically restart when it needs or downloads upgrades what it needs to I get these little messages that your phone's running slow, restart your phone. I hate that if that's the case, it should have done it. My a 26 did it did it once a week, 1 o'clock in the morning, it's not as good as they say it is.

The old note 9 would not allow me to upload new apps etc. This was the ONLY reason for getting a new phone. I was informed this A17 phone is like the old Note 9 but better. They were so wrong. First of all so bery slow im response. It takes 3 hrs to charge with the "fast charger" that came with the new phone. It was a cord only no block or anything else. This phone does not allow me.to place.it on a charging station like the old phone. If I could go back or return this phone I would in a heartbeat. Do not get an A17 phone.

It completely froze up on me when I was 4 hours from home in an area I didn't know. Had to take it to a cell phone repair shop who got it working again, but the guy told me to never get A series again because they always have problems, something i was not made privy to before committing to it for 2 years. So, now I have to wait until my next upgrade to get a new phone while paying for one that has a terrible camera - I won't take pictures with it because it distorts my face. I am a Samsung fan overall, and honestly haven't really had any problems before, but this phone sucks.

I have taken the phone back to Spectrum once & they said they cleared out some memory. Still isn't working any better. Slow & glitchy. This phone would not be reliable in an emergency because it takes so long to see anything on the screen or for the phone to do what I'm trying to do. I tried to take a picture & had to click the button 6 times for 1 photo. Absolutely ridiculous. This phone is awful. I just don't have time to run back & forth to get another & all day to set a new phone up with all of info.

This device I feel that sometimes it runs a little slower then past devices I have had. Like for an example, when I click on an app the. Then I want to close the window I had open it would take awhile or go from screen to screen then I would ha e to pull up all the windows again. I have tried restarting it. I am looking forward to upgrading my device soon and hopefully I get the Samsung fold device. I always changes devices just to try out devices to see how they work and special features. When I want to use voice to search, it takes like 20 seconds to say it is listening. I have already believed it would not turn on in my dark scrub pocket...but it rearranged everything on my phone while I was walking with it in my pocket. I had to put a lock screen. It's slow to know if it is night or day. The only reason I had to change from my S9÷ was due to no longer software updates for that best Samsung ever. Even the Ai is slow to respond on this device. I'm so sorry I was talked into this device by the retailer.

The features have allowed me to import some important data from my old phone that I would have been devastated to lose. I have had Samsung phones in the past and was confident buying another. I am not enjoying this particular phone as much as I have others. In particular the battery capacity is much less. The most concerning and frustrating problem that I have been experiencing is the phone randomly creating and sending non sensical texts as well as making phone calls. I have been a very content and loyal Samsung customer having purchased phones, appliances and TVs over the years. Going forward after this phone purchase sadly I will seriously consider another brand.

Graphics are top notch..blah blah...I don't know all that tech talk, I just know I can get all the apps I want on it with plenty of room and I can still add an SD card to add more room if I need more...that's why I needed to upgrade...not enough space! The new one...I can play all my games, have a ton of pix, all my travel apps, my learning apps, etc. It's also a bit bigger, so my older (50yo) eyes can see it better LOL Definitely worth an upgrade or at least a look see! Totally recommend 10/10!

This has by far been my favorite galaxy device that I've owned. The large display screen is makes it so easy to read the prints and see the photos which brings me to the camera to the a 17 offers great quality photos several modes. I just love it. If I were to change anything on this phone, it would be the amount of memory that it holds.I always seem to be running out of space but I also take thousands of photos a week. You see with my business.I take before and after photos of every job that I do so I use quite a bit of memory.

When copying / transferring my information from my previous A16 phone, everything did transfer over, all of the apps, etc. The problem is, when you go to each app you need to remember the user name and password. Also, any history that I had in those app's is lost and it is as if you are starting from scratch. Prior to my A16 phone, I did have an S20 phone. Both the A16 and A17 run or process much slower than the S20, especially when the A series phones are connected to android auto. I have only used galaxy AI a handful of times for very minor tasks and the outcomes were good.

I can tell you "do not buy this phone" it has been nothing but a headache. Within 2 months we have had charging problems and speaker problems on my phone, so now when I receive a phone call or listen to voice mail I need to put it on speaker phone. I have been given the choice of waiting for parts to become available or send my phone in and be without my phone for 10 days. I have been waiting for parts for over 4 months. Isn't there a law that parts are to be available for several years. STILL WAITING

There seems to be alot of the sub permissions that I usually avoid. But the instructions throughout the settings are easily understandable. They seem to break most of them down in a way that gives you a more clear picture of how they work together or what affect your choices will have on performance. Im not too thrilled with the choices for layout & color schemes because it's hard to read or make out some lettering no matter what size you have your font. Like I said though, im pretty happy overall that I CHOSE my A17 5G. Thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hey I just wanted to let you know this the 817 is a great model still point it tends to get hot or overheat at times and sometimes I can't get it to when I touch the screen or something it won't respond maybe for a very long delay for finally figures it out and it has a lot a few features that I wish it would have better one is it gets stuck in the moments on delayed when it comes to opening files or going to the Internet so maybe you guys can check into that I've done everything possible to clean it and try to get the memory down and you know clear the couch and everything but it still does it especially sometimes going to your site and stuff it freezes up more

Completely awesome👌 for lots of apps open at the same time. Very fast in all applications.It has a nicely discreet fingerprint reader. Also it has an amazing face recognition for easy unlocking. The speaker is also pretty loud. The flashlight is bright too. The battery usually lasts me for 3 days on a single charge with the battery protection. That setting also makes your battery last alot longer without issues and dieing all the time. Just an awesome phone.I would recommend getting one, or 4 for the family.

It gives you product specs and output it just does the most and helps me alot when im in need of information on my Samsung device. I have the galaxyna17 model but I will be upgrading here in the next few months and I cannot wait til I can upgrade I am going with the s25 model its camera is even better than my model and its specs are amazing. I wouldnt buy any other kind of cell phone or smartwatch ever again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got this phone because it came free with my new plan. I had been accustomed to using iPhones, so switching to Android was a big change. At first I thought it was just growing pains, and trying to get used to the new phone system. But I have noticed that this phone has quite a bit of flaws. I'm not really able to make phone calls on the first second or even third try. I always get an error message. It periodically stops accepting calls from people who are in my contacts list as well. The camera and the pictures aren't as good a quality as some other phone that I've had. But for a free phone, it's not a bad deal.

Learning a new system at my age I thought would be a challenge. I was wrong. After taking it home and spending time with it. I now have everything better than the old phone. Even have tried using it with AI. I never thought about using new systems. I like the easy use and help I get from this phone. So happy that I was shown such a simple to learn and use model. I'm now interested in using Galaxy AI since it's been added with an update. I want to see if I'm able to work with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live how I'm able to use it with such ease.Texting feels so natural, whether I'm using the keyboard on glide mode, voice typing, or naturally texting . Galaxy AI is also super intuitive and helpful with things like studying, cooking, and just basic overall use.. I think the only feature I don't live about this phone is the lack of a aux cord and the lack of a micro SD card, however the cloud has more than enough space, I guess I'm just used to it. After having the A14, then the S24 FE, then the A17 I couldn't be happier overall. I love Samsung devices, I don't think I would ever go to another phone manufacturer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my phone primary for work orders. And, well as a phone to actually talk to people. I do use the camera alot for work purposes. My dissatisfaction with this phone is, it constantly turns itself on even when I've shut it off. It doesn't sit flat due to the camera lens. The touch screen works sporadically. The port charger area is supper sensitive and I predict will stop working in a few month and I will have to purchase another phone, I find this to be unacceptable. The battery life diminishes quickly even if not in use. I don't like to spend a lot on cell phones and prefer a good bargain but I would not recommend this phone and will not purchase one again.

All the different areas of my life and daily routines my phone helps me navigate.i can keep track of my schedule and my health and wellness. There are different modes for whatever I'm doing like exercise, work, driving and sleep mode my phone adjust for easy use hands free safety and voice command. It has a AI tool called Gemini that u can ask anything! Very helpful with step by step instructions so u can understand. You can set up your phone however you want adjust the size of the text and back grounds themes wallpapers and sounds. I highly recommend this product.

I was concerned about it only having 4GB memory, but it seems adequate for what I normally use it for. Although it's a tad bit slower than my main phone (Galaxy S 24 Ultra), it's similar in my experience. I don't use it for "heavy lifting," and meets my expectations as a small secondary device. The AI experience seems to be the same as my main phone, although I don't fully utilize AI, it is very adequate. I love the phone. It is lightweight, has a great screen (same size as my S 24 Ultra), and is fully adequate in my experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the A17 5G in hopes of elieviating a couple of internal errors that kept haunting me with the A16 5G. The errors are system UI not responding, and process system not responding. The reason I say the errors are is because the same errors are being triggered on the A17 that were happening on the A16. I have yet to contact Samsung or the service that I used to get the device through. I will have to offer a pt.2 to this review once I contact both and see if I can get the error figured out. I just feel that having the same two errors happening right after turning the device on and using it kind of worries me. Stay tuned...I'm hoping Galaxy Ai can save the day

Fed up with closed platforms that make it hard to get my photos off without paying monthly fees. Switched and thought I would notice. Not as much as you'd think. The latest models are even water resistent. Samsung has lower Microwave radiation ratings than many other brands, which matters to me. The only reasons I did not give it 5 stars are no gorilla glass (you need a great case and maybe a screen protector) and sometimes it stalls a bit (but you get better battery life). Don't forget Galaxy AI. All in all, it's an incredible value.

It has decent storage it's synced up to accounts that I completely forgot about for example the photos gallery has pictures from more than 10 years ago that I thought got deleted somewhere in the void of the internet. Although I did choose to give it three stars because the camera quality is not the best when I do take a lot of pictures it stops and crashes it does tend to get hot. There are times where I get a UI system error and the phone goes completely black and unusable. I've brought it to the store before and figured out how to fix it but it's brand new and shouldn't have this problem even if it is an older model

Plus what it lacks if any, there's an app for. I would highly most definitely recommend for anyone and everyone hands down. It's not complicated to use. Doesn't freeze or glitch up. Perfect for all those last minute selfie photos. I mean the sound will sure enough be loud enough to rock out and do ya little dancey dance in your room when no one's watching. I mean and I download and play my gaming apps like a little pro. It's amazing. Every thing is so easy to understand and get used to. I absolutely love this phone. Ten out of ten. Yes.

This a17 calls 911 on its own because of the emergency sos at the bottom of the screen. If the phone is in your pocket when you get a call it will start calling 911 automatically. Slow and glitch is the best description for this phone. I can stand next to my wifi router and still have problems playing a video or even an advertisement. Even without wifi it takes forever to load or open apps. There is times where the phone will not respond to anything except turning it off and back on. If you need a temporary phone this is perfect but not for long time use or work use!

Galaxy AI alone is making a huge mark on the lanscape of AI and the Galaxy A17 5G is a great way for that to be integrated into it. I use my device on the go constantly, like many of us do. We have all had little computers in our pockets for years now but this phone, the Galaxy A17 5G just seems to function better over all. Which, have been my favorite (and only version I had purchased until buying my A17. At first I wasn't thrilled about switching to A series. Once Samsung Switch was complete, I dove in. Surprised by ALL the features and esthetics it comes with. Many characteristics of the higher end Samsung Plus/Ultra phones. AI works like perfection with my A 17 Series. I'm able to achieve the same functionality/creativity of any other Samsung model. A Series is the complete package!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose my phone to see the offers and benefits its could provide, it works great calls never drop, text come through fast, its has a lot of extra protection to protect you identity and other personal things I just have issues with my phone freezing sometimes but I'm pretty sure that was my fault when they say don't use you phone while its charging believe it cause I turned a great and amazing phone into a phone that functions but freeze from time to time leaving me to restart my phone every week so other than that the phone is great and I Definitely recommend it. I even took pictures like the one below it looks like a painting but it was actually the night sky in my hometown.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Galaxy AI a lot actually, i use it for anything, even the smallest things, I just like seeing it in action and helping me no matter what, truly an amazing AI I do also use my phone for instagram, youtube, discord, reddit, ETC. I have other social media apps but those are the ones I use frequently because this phone helps me keep contact with my friends. I also LOVE how seamless everything is, to everything being at your finger tips, to even going as far as buttons don't have that boxy look, but rather the smooth circular look, it makes me feel sophisticated in a way. I sometimes use Netflix, but this is only when I scan QR codes to play Netflix games with my family.

When I first got it as an upgrade, I was completely surprised how much better and faster this phone is. The phone is bigger than my old phone; The Samsung Galaxy S10, the screen is so clear and smooth, my pics come out clear and smooth, watching & streaming videos is so much better & the phone speakers and volume when I'm watching my videos and taking on the phone is so much better than the Galaxy S10. It does most things...good enough. But sometimes it freezes up on a grey screen and a bar of lighter grey goes from right to left over and over before finally proceeding to the app I had requested. Also, it has trouble when more than 2 or 3 windows are opened at the same time. It slows way down and finally makes me restart it. I am grateful that I don't stream things or want to play video games bc I'm not sure how my phone would handle those requests. But I'm guessing it wouldn't go well. So now, I am biding my time until I can request a new phone.

The Ai feature really helps to turn what I say into fuller paragraphs. And it makes me sound intelligent as well. I have used it to create resumes and I have used it to map out plans for my future as well as detailed steps to get me towards my goals. I recommend this device solely on the confidence that the screen is big and the display is enough to have a whole document layout without the zooming in and zooming n out to read. I give this device 4 stars solely for the fact that I feel the cameras could be a bit better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy A17 for the price and got my money's worth. Camera is meh, up close it's great but the clarity for a zoomed in shot is terrible. The sound is weird, I can play music at a fantastic volume but for phone calls i have to wear ear buds or put the phone on speaker and hold it 2 inches from my ear. I love the 32G of memory though, and the fitness tracker is amazing for goals but it constantly thinks im going to pass out, the hb monitor always reads in the 45-60bpm range. The charger port came loose within 5 months and ive had to have that fixed twice in the 16 months ive had the phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i've been devoted (whole heartedly) to the samsung galaxy phone since it's debut. with that being said, its not a surprise that im a fan of my a17. everything about it has out-classed any other brand of phone... hands down. fate brought us together (my a17 and i) when i, unfortunately, crushed my s25 jn the driveway. however, a fast dash to my local retailer of the brand pointed me in an economically smart, but yet, quite the character of an assistant (of course im talking of my a17). the galaxy ai has been leading the market as well. galaxy is definitely the head of the class. as a whole (features and the galaxy ai) its a1 in my book. from another "galaxy". #OUTTA THIS UNIVERSE .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where can I even start? The Wallstreet journal calls me a device hoarder because I keep a phone for more than a year. I loved my A14 until it stopped working. I thought the A17 would be an appropriate upgrade but nah. The connection is trash: listening to music or watching YouTube sounds Chopped and Screwed. If your fingerprint doesn't work because of a restart or whatever, it doesn't tell you, the screen just stays blank. And the heat, my gosh, the heat. I've never had a hotter phone of any generation. Whilst charging, whilst watching, whilst gaming, the A17 is physically the hottest phone on the market! Seriously, I put it on a fan all the time. I chose a different phone next time

The large available memory space allows me to have all my necessary apps needed for my work, while still having tons of space for fun with gaming and social media apps. The RAM capacity is great for keeping up with my busy pace of life. The camera features are really awesome, as it helps me with having quality images to keep me connected with my social community. I would definitely rate the Galaxy A17 as 5/5 stars, highest rating, and highly recommend it as an upgrade for a phone choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came time to switch from US Cellular to T-Mobile, due to the recent merger. At the time, I chose to upgrade my current cell phone as well. I looked at all the budget cell phones. I chose the Galaxy A 17 5G. 5 years ago I had owned Galaxy A 13 5G. The specs of the new A 17 5G are more storage. A 13 5G had 64 gigs, the A 17 5G is double at 128 gigs. I love my A 17 5G. A 17 5G in my opinion a great budget phone. My previous cell phone maker their budget phones prices are currently reflecting their mid tier cell phones. With Samsung Galaxy A series I look forward to see how better the phone gets.

So battery life is overall very good, i use my phone all day and the battery works like lasts all day. Overall I might even skip an upgrade to get another A 17 model. I chose this product because it was on promotion and was a sceptic because I am a Motorola guy for sure usually but saw that is was a Galaxy phone so I picked it you know. Things work perfectly everything is pretty great with my service so apparently compatacompatability stuff is a check because I've had not one issue that called for me troubleshoot yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung a17 over a different device because I thought that by me having a Samsung s21 it would be a seamless experience. Boy was I wrong. Performance of this device obviously shows by it was one offered as a free device and two exactly why it falls short of the s series. The phone lags with processing whenever there's anything processing in my background the phone kills and says system UI is unavailable. this happens about 30 times a day. Despite notifications being turned on, I only seem to notice that I've missed a message or a phone call if I open that particular app. I'm not pleased with this phone thoroughly and I cannot wait until I'm able to upgrade to a better device.

The quality and performance is amazing honey. I choose to keep my a17 because its unmatched from every other phine ive had. No other phone has had the camera quality. I can capture every deatail and every memory in seconds. I love my phone so much. Ive used many other samsung products and have loved them all. I recently got a new dishwasher and it leaves all my dishes spotless. I choose samsung for its amazing quality and cant wait to see what comes from this amazing company in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off this phone did not come with Galaxy AI which surprised me being that it's a new phone and online the A17 5G says it has Galaxy AI. Second thing is, the phone is terribly slow. I have to keep using Device Care to clean memory and I barely have any downloaded apps. It has a decent camera, way better than it's predecessors. It has no auxiliary jack for wired headphones. The phone lags, taking up to 30 seconds to make a call. It doesn't seem to multitask very well between apps. At the moment, I'm not very happy with it and samsung can't remotely fix it so I have to take it to a shop that can. I've been an avid samsung buyer for 20 years and this phone has given me the most issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just upgraded from my Motorola Stylis to the Samsung A17 5G. Wasn't sure at first because I've never owned a Samsung phone. But everyone i know that has a Samsung phone is very happy with it. Even though it is a lower level phone i decided to make the jump. Generally I don't do a bunch of stuff on my phone, banking, buying, searching. Though I would love to have a S25 or S26 Ultra it might be a bit of overkill with all the features, so the A17 does everything I need it to do and it does it well. But given the opportunity I would definitely get either the S25 or S26 Ultra. The A17 is definitely faster and more efficient than the Moto was and I'm very happy that I made the switch.

My experience with the Samsung a17 has been amazing. Easy to understand UI easy set up and quick to use. I've fallen in love with this phone due to how useful it been in my everday life. It been already 2 months since I've gotten the Samsung a17 and im glad I've made this purchase I've already a fan of Samsung technology as I've bought many of there Samsung tablets and bought earbuds from Samsung that I still have to this day. All of Samsung products are high quality and just feel smooth to use.

The Samsung AI is useful for what I have used it for which is the basics. I like the flexibility and customizations available. Its not a phone for gaming but its great for watching and reading on the go. It handles surfing the internet and mutiple tabs just fine. It can be used as a work device but doesnt have much internal storage as it is an older model but can handle editing and transfering just fine. I like the editing and document tools and its most useful for business related tasks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed the phone. It has great sound and seems to have a higher volume, so you do not miss anything. The camera takes great pictures. Though I do not like that it is missing the screen recording. This makes you look for a third party system. Though I would like to see it have a screen recording function under the pulp down menu. Also have a feature to scan the system and repair failures in the program plus tell you what apps hurt the phone operating system. I get the warning of wait or close app once in a while. I would still recommend the phone to friends especially in these rough times.

I only choose phones by Samsung anytime I change up phones. I am honestly completely disappointed in this one. It is very slow in doing most everything I try to do on it. I just seems as if its behind or something. Also I have paid for unlimited wifi separate from my device and even when I use it as well as my phones data it still has a hard tome connecting to an internet connection. It also deleted some of my Google photos without my permission. I am not happy with this device at all. I have never owned another Samsung so disappointing.
