The mobile device is of substandard quality. A black dot appeared at the hinge, followed by a horizontal line and flickering across the hinge and lower display. The estimated display replacement cost is very high. This issue impacts multiple users of this model. These defects occurring without user-caused damage, represent a substantial financial loss for the customer. Samsung should provide an extended warranty and complimentary screen repair for affected devices to maintain customer satisfaction. I mailed to the support.india @ samsung.com and yet no response received. Not recommending to buy this and waste your money in this low quality product.

I bought the product when as a pre order. within 6months the ribbon on the side fell off. and suddenly the screen had 2 lines and dead pixels. i have all the flip phones and fold phones. flip4 and flip5 durability is lower than the previous generation as this side ribbon keeps dropping. once it falls down the frame can be broken from opening and closing the phone normally. and the worst part is customer service that refused to fix it under the warranty saying that Samsung refuses to repair it under warranty due to the broken cover. unfortunately aftrr being a samsung advocate and have a houshold with over 20K products of Samsung. i am flipping off to other companies that have better products or at least better support and admitting product issues after words

I bought this on July 26, the first day of preorders, and i got it only a week after. When i first got it, I started transferring my data and it overheated alot. I thought that was just because of transferring, and normally it's better, but when I was charging it it was also overheating. Other than that it was fine, fast, clicky, and responsive. When your gaming it also mildly overheats, but nothing too serious. As far as I know, the pros outwheigh the cons in every way, but if your gaming a lot, this is not the one. When I mean overheating, I mean like hot to the touch, especially the cover screen. You try to touch the cover screen, Your finger burn up basically.

Purchased 2 of the Z5 Flip phones in December of 2023. One year and 3 weeks to the date, both phones had screen issues. T-Mobile and Samsung refused to replace the screen under warranty. First phone, screen lifted in crease, caused black screen. Second phone, screen is lifting in crease, just like the first phone started.

I bought this a month back as a reward for finishing the school year and man has it been a ride Such a joy using this device and despite what people told me before buying it, trying to discourage me from doing so, that the cover screen was just some gimmick that I won't be using in the future but I have been doing so consistently: to check my hair before a picture, to take actual selfies, set timers, message someone quickly, etc. I have come to love this new innovation and has actually been a great conversation starter with people seeing me use it in public, so it was a sort of launchpad for making more friends and getting to know new and interesting people.

Unfortunately I sold this phone even though I Love it. The main Issues was for me the bettery. I wished if the bettery could give more. That time I decided to let go my Galaxy S23 Ultra, and to welcome the flip 5. I hade the basic 8GB Ram, green mint color. All over the design and the mechanism 10/10, The compact design, really people need to have this device in their hands to approach it. I really like it but I decided to let go of the device and thats because of the battery. *I wish samsung if you could increase the battery, and the front screen to become more wider or the device to be come a bit more wider, then will have thw device of the year for sure.

The plastic slots near the ear piece is a poor quality and it ripped off just with normal usage. Surprisingly, this doesn't cover under warranty with a false statement from samsung 'physical damage'.

Do not buy. Not worth the price. Don't get me wrong I like the phone and all it's features, but the inner screen only lasted about 16 months. I am not a heavy user of my phone and do not flip my phone constantly like I see some other users doing. Nor have I droped it or done anything else to damage it. However, inner screen, just started flickering one day and went black. And of course no waranty for this in Canada. If you live in the US, apparantly Samsung will replace the inner screen if it fails within the first 2 years. In Canada, you are on your own. Now I am stuck with a buyout plan for a phone that is pretty much useless. Definitly will not be buying another Samsung.

had it for 1 year and the battery fried, took only 4months and the in built screen protector creased, brightness overall is good, it slips into my pocket nicely when folded, the screen around the camera punchout has a huge amount of dead pixels. interface is nice overall but one UI-7 drained the battery quick. so with my honest review I'd give it a 2 out of 5 from reliability

While this phone looks great folded and it being able to sit in your pocket while folded feels secure since it is at the bottom of your pocket that is where the positives end. I have been a loyal samsung user but this product was not ready to hit the markets in the span of 6 months I've gone through 2 phones due to a broken screen along the hinge. I have never put this phone through any stressing activities and have by comparison to other phones babied it but even with precautions it still breaks. I would say stay away until the technology is perfected and tested.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PHONE. I'm loyal to Samsung, and will always be. But this phone is their worst so far. I bought this phone a year ago and I am VERY disappointed as there are multiple issues. The main reason I bought is was for the foldable screen , but I had to replace the screen twice already. The screen isn't durable at all, although I took a great care of the phone, always had a cover on it and haven't dropped the phone. The battery runs out fast, and most of the time, it doesn't last me all day(Unless I don't use the phone at all). No matter what I try to do to save the battery, somehow it runs out pretty fast. The camera isn't great either, I had the note 20 ultra before this phone and it was way better in terms of pictures quality, screen quality and battery life. Even though, it was an older phone.

I've been using the Zflip5 for a month now and I love it, the fact that I can access most apps through the cover screen is great, fast, and compact. The size of the screen when the phone is opened is ideal. The audio quality is good, and so is the video. The phone processes quickly and doesn't heat up easily compared to other devices. Good foldable, but the battery needs to be emroved for longer durability, the battery last for less than a day. The screen crist needs to be improved to totally disappear. Thank you.

* Network: 5G network availability may vary depending on the country, network provider and user environment.
