Samsung Singapore on Saturday hosted beneficiaries of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund at its Samsung x LINE FRIENDS pop-up at Westgate, where attendees got treated to a day of fun activities alongside their favourite LINE FRIENDS characters.
Attendees explored the pop-up’s specially-curated themed experiential zones, and tried out the various interactive activities available. They got to create cherished moments with their favourite LINE FRIENDS characters – such as enjoying vivid and thrilling Six Flags® rollercoaster rides in movie theatre-style, 360° photos sessions and taking up fitness exercises such as mountain biking. The children also had an exclusive opportunity to meet-and-greet the LINE FRIENDS mascots, Cony and Brown, in person!
Each child also received a goodie bag filled with LINE FRIENDS merchandise, and a Galaxy A5 (2017) priced at $548 together with a complimentary LINE FRIENDS Battery Pack worth $108 and a Galaxy Tab 3V priced at $228 were also each gifted to two lucky beneficiaries.
The exclusive session was organised for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund beneficiaries, in line with Samsung’s continued commitment to helping underprivileged children in Singapore. Samsung has been an active supporter of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund since its conception, and pledges to its cause of heightening public awareness of the plight of children from low-income families and alleviating the financial burden faced by parents in providing for their children's education.
