How to share battery power between your devices

If there is one universal emotion that we are all familiar with, it’s the unpleasant feeling of being notified that your device is low on battery — especially when you realise that you don’t have your charger with you either.

But what if we told you that you could charge all your devices on the fly, even without a charger?

Cue Wireless PowerShare - a brilliant function on your Galaxy device that helps give that extra boost when you need it most*!

Add Wireless PowerShare to your Quick Settings menu for quick and easy access:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Battery & Device Care and then click Battery

  3. Select Wireless PowerShare option and make sure that it is enabled/turned on

Once Wireless PowerShare is added to Quick Settings, you can easily:

  1. Swipe down on the top of your screen to expand Quick Settings

  2. Tap Wireless PowerShare icon

  3. Place the center of your phone back-to-back with another PowerShare-enabled device (e.g. Galaxy Watch) to start charging*

  4. To stop charging, just separate the two devices from each other. The PowerShare feature will automatically turn off after 60 seconds when no other device is detected.

It’s that simple! Now you don’t have to worry about running out of battery ever again.
