Pre-order Collection of Samsung Galaxy Note8 in Singapore

Yesterday, 50 fans of the Samsung Galaxy Note series were among the first in Singapore to get their hands on the long-awaited Galaxy Note8. Held in an exclusive event at Galaxy Studio at VivoCity, these consumers were also the first in Singapore to experience the varied offerings in Samsung’s ecosystem of products and services, such as the newly launched Gear Sport, Gear Fit2 Pro and Gear IconX.
“I’ve owned every Galaxy Note that Samsung has ever produced,” said excited fan Whye Mun, who was the first person in line to receive her Galaxy Note8 in Singapore. “I really enjoy the Galaxy Note series because of the display screen and S Pen. The technology behind Samsung’s Note series is always getting better and I’m really excited to start using my Galaxy Note8!”
“Samsung has great creativity and innovation when it comes to meeting user’s needs and habits and this is showcased in features like the S Pen,” said Ivan Chua, 52, a Regional Director of Sales and Marketing who was one of the first few to get his hands on the Galaxy Note8. “I use the S Pen very actively in my line of work, whether writing in English or Mandarin and I’m looking forward to trying out the new translation feature on the Galaxy Note8 with the S Pen!”
The rest of Singapore did not have long to wait as well! Starting today, consumers who had successfully pre-ordered the Galaxy Note8 will get to start the collection of their pre-ordered Galaxy Note8 devices, from M1, Singtel, StarHub, Samsung Experience Stores and the Galaxy Studio, one week ahead of its retail launch in Singapore. Consumers who successfully pre-ordered the Galaxy Note8 online at major consumer electronics stores (Best Denki, Courts, Hachi, Harvey Norman and Newstead) and Lazada Singapore will also be receiving their new devices which will be delivered to them.
Pre-orders and registrations of interest had started from 12 noon on 25 August at telecommunication operators, Samsung Store online, Samsung Experience Stores and online major consumer electronics stores (Best Denki, Courts, Hachi, Harvey Norman and Newstead) and Lazada Singapore. Upon their respective successful pre-order collection and full payment of purchase price of Galaxy Note8, customers will receive a complimentary Samsung DeX Station worth $1981.
Additionally, successful pre-order customers of the Galaxy Note8 without contract at Samsung Store online, Samsung Experience Stores, consumer electronic stores and Lazada Singapore will also receive a $100 Samsung Accessories and Wearables Voucher2 at the point of collection or delivery (upon full payment) of pre-ordered device.

The Galaxy Note8 will be available from 15 September 2017 at a recommended retail price of $1,398 including GST. Available in Midnight Black, Maple Gold and Orchid Gray, the device will be available at all local telecommunication operators, major consumer electronic stores, authorised mobile retailers, Samsung Experience Stores and Lazada Singapore.

Samsung Concierge
With the launch of the Galaxy Note8, the device will be included as a new eligible product for Samsung Concierge, Samsung’s service programme developed specifically for its customers in Singapore. Providing all-round convenience and assurance for Galaxy smartphone users, Samsung Concierge offers customers a suite of premium value-added services, including benefits such as yearly device upgrade, 30-day one-to-one exchange for manufacturing defects, on-site servicing or repair, discounted out-of-warranty repairs and data switching assistance for a one-time payment (per device) of $38 (inclusive of GST).
Consumers who have previously purchased the Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge with Samsung Concierge will be eligible for the yearly upgrade to the Galaxy Note8 with their upgrade penalty fee waived if they intend to make the upgrade through their respective telecommunication operator8.
