Smooth control and clear visuals are essential for winning gameplay. The 2025 Samsung Smart TV Game Bar helps reduce lag, improve visibility, and adjust screen settings in real time. With Ultrawide GameView, PC gamers can expand their view for deeper immersion.

Note: Game Bar is supported on 2025 Samsung Smart TVs Q7F or above.

The Game Bar on 2025 Samsung Smart TVs gives gamers fast, convenient access to key performance data and feature controls—all in one place. When Game Mode is set to ON or AUTO, press and hold the Play/Pause button on the Samsung Smart Remote to open the Game Bar. It displays real-time information such as input lag, resolution, frame rate (FPS), HDR status, and VRR values, while also providing quick entry points to commonly used gaming tools and settings.

1 Game Genre

Adjust picture and sound settings by game type or select Auto to enable AI Auto Game Mode. This feature identifies the game title and automatically applies optimal audio-visual settings. In 2025, this support extends beyond consoles to include PC gaming sources as well.

2 Virtual Aim Point

Add a visible aiming reticle to the center of the screen for improved precision.

3 Screen Ratio

Switch between screen ratios.

4 Minimap Zoom

Adjust the position and size of the minimap on screen. Starting with 2025 Samsung TV models, the new Minimap Auto Detection feature automatically identifies where the minimap is located by analyzing the game screen. The Game Bar makes it easier to enjoy an extended field of view when using a 2025 Samsung Smart TV. To get started:

Step 1. Press and hold the Play/Pause button on the remote to open the Game Bar.

Step 2. Change the Screen Ratio to 21:9 or 32:9.

Step 3. Set the PC’s resolution to the appropriate value. This only needs to be done once when switching to a 21:9 or 32:9 screen ratio for the first time:
 
• 21:9: Set the PC’s resolution to 2560×1080 or 3840×1600 (60 Hz / 120 Hz / 144 Hz)

• 32:9: Set the PC’s resolution to 3840×1080 (60 Hz / 120 Hz / 144 Hz)

Note:

  • 120 Hz support may vary by model.
  • 144 Hz is supported on the following models: QN990F, QN950F, QN90F, S95F, S90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F.
  • The 32:9 screen ratio is only supported in PC games that support Ultrawide resolution.
Step 4. Launch a game that supports Ultrawide resolution.

Remote control Up or Down button is highlighted for screen position adjustment.

To move the screen position to the top, center, or bottom while using Ultrawide GameView, press the Channel Up or Down button on the remote.

If Ultrawide GameView does not display correctly:

1. Make sure the game supports 21:9 or 32:9 resolution.

2. Set the PC’s screen resolution to 21:9 (3840 x 1600 or 2560 x 1080 ) or to 32:9 (3840 x 1080).

Note: After setting the PC’s resolution the first time, you can then set up Ultrawide GameView directly from the Game Bar.

3. Exit the game, set Ultrawide GameView in the Game Bar, and then relaunch the game.

Note:

  • The screen ratio cannot be changed while the game is running.
  • Some games may require adjusting the screen ratio manually within the game settings.
  • Use the Channel Up/Down buttons on the remote to move the screen position to the top, center, or bottom.

Minimap Zoom enlarges and repositions the in-game minimap for easier navigation.

The following resolutions support the Minimap Zoom feature:

• 16:9: 3840x2160 (60 Hz / 120 Hz)

• 21:9: 3840x1600, 2560x1080 (60 Hz / 120 Hz)

• 32:9: 3840x1080 (60 Hz / 120 Hz)

Note:

  • The refresh rate may vary by model.
  • Minimap Zoom in 21:9 and 32:9 is only supported when a PC is connected to the Samsung Smart TV and used as a signal source.

Follow the steps below to use the Minimap Zoom:

Step 1. Open the Game Bar using the Play/Pause button on the remote control.

Step 2. Select Minimap Zoom and choose a location:

- Left or right for 16:9

- Top or bottom for 21:9 or 32:9

Step 3. Reposition the Minimap Zoom using the 4-way directional button on the remote. The Minimap Auto Detection feature also analyzes the game screen and automatically zooms in on the minimap’s location.

Step 4. Press Select to resize the zoom area.

Step 2. Select Virtual Aim Point to activate it.
