How to edit the name of your 2025 Samsung Smart TV

Your 2025 Samsung Smart TV has a unique name that will be displayed when connected to your network. This unique name can be changed in the TV settings where you can also see specific device information, such as the model number and software version.
Change your TV’s name using the About TV menu
You can use the following instructions to find the About TV menu on your Samsung TV.

Navigate to and select Settings, then select All Settings, and then select Support.

Select About TV.

Select Edit Name to change your TV’s unique name.

From the About TV menu, you can also view the Samsung website URL, the Samsung Support phone number, your TV’s model number, your TV’s software version, and the Open Source License.
Notes:
- You can also view information by scanning the QR code displayed on your TV.
- You can also start this function by pressing and holding the Play/Pause button for 5 or more seconds. Continue holding the button until the customer information pop-up window appears.
