Rated 4 out of 5 by I absolutely love my phone, but it hasn't really lasted I have had my phone for almost two years now and I have treated it extremely well. I haven't dropped it, etc. I absolutely love it and everything it can do (I previously had an iPhone and I'm never going back) but to be honest I'm disappointed that it isn't lasting as long as I had hoped it would. The screen is beginning to malfunction on the bottom, the battery has diminished quickly for about a year now, and it overheats constantly. Aside from those problems, I love my phone. They're just very agitating problems. July 28, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Decent phone, would recommend for some Hardware-wise this phone was excellent for its time. Software-wise, it weighs down otherwise outstanding hardware. TouchWhiz is slow and laggy. That's easy to fix by downloading a third party launcher. It has too much bloatware. It takes too long to receive updates, although that is typical with Samsung and exacerbated by the slowness of the carrier in updating its devices. July 27, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better than an iPhone, (imo) I like my Galaxy S5. I think the biggest thing I've been disappointed with the S5 is the daily battery life. At first it was great, but then I updated it, and with each update, the battery seems to drain faster and faster. Also, I had to buy a bigger memory card just complete the second upgrade. I'd really like to have the 7, though. I love to take photos, so the fact that it takes great photos in the dark - unlike mine - would be great. July 25, 2016
