Please read these Promotion terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions) carefully. Participation in this Promotion will constitute your agreement to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not participate in this Promotion.

All participants during the term of this Promotion agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. PROMOTION:
1.1 Pre-order and Trade –In offer for Z FOLD8 ULTRA | Z FOLD8 (“Promotion”).
1.2 The promoter of the Promotion is Samsung Electronics West Africa Limited, and any other agencies ("Organizer").
1.3 The trade-in partner of the Promotion is Sapphire Virtual Networks Limited and/or its agencies (“Trade-In Partner”).
2. PROMOTION PERIOD:
2.1 These Promotions will run from 22nd July 2026 to 20th August 2026 (“the Promotion Period”).
2.2 The duration of the Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Organizer.
3. WHO MAY ENTER:
3.1 All participants must:
a. be citizens of the Republic of Nigeria and/or legal residents of the aforesaid country;
b. must be currently residing in Nigeria at the date of the commencement of the Promotion Period;
c. must be a natural person and be at least 18 (eighteen) years old at the date of the commencement of the Promotion Period;
3.2 Participation in this promotion includes the Organizer, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by them or any supplier of goods and services in connection with the promotion and their spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners or associates if they personally purchased a Promotion Device for their own personal use. Proof of purchase will be verified at the Organizer’s discretion.
4. HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE PROMOTION:
4.1 The participant must:
a. be a participant in terms of clause 3 above;
b. FOR PRE-ORDER:
I. pre-order a Z FOLD8 ULTRA | Z FOLD8 (“Device”) from 04:00pm on 22nd of July 2026 until 20th of August 2026, while stocks last (“the Promotion Period”) in stores nationwide;
II. Deposit an agreed amount at any of the participating stores that will constitute part payment for the preferred Device but which must be paid in full to claim the Device and Offer;
III. Complete and submit a pre-order form in the participating stores that captures participant’s details including name, phone number and email address; OR
c. FOR TRADE-IN
I. Trade in an existing Qualifying Device as stated in clause 6 towards the purchase of a new Device from an authorized Samsung reseller. The list of authorized resellers to be found at the following link https://www.samsung.com/africa_en/storelocator/.
II. Once the trade-in is accepted, the trade-in value will be applied and the participant may proceed to purchase the Device.
III. Every old Qualifying Device listed in clause 6 submitted to be traded in will be accessed and evaluated by a Samsung promoter and discount may be given based on (i) Functionality (ii) Body, (iii) Screen, or as shown in the table below:

IV. The Trade-In Partner will collect all Qualifying Devices submitted for trade-in.
V. The grading of the Qualifying Device will be at the absolute sole discretion of the Trade-in Partner and its decision in this regard will be final.
4.2 Errors and omission may be accepted at the Organizer's discretion. Failure by the Organizer to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4.3 It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that any information which you provide to the Organizer is accurate, complete and up to date.
4.4 Proof of purchase will be verified at the Organizer’s sole discretion.
5. CAN I ENTER MORE THAN ONCE FOR THE OFFER:
5.1 Participants will enjoy the promotion benefit on every Device purchased from participating stores during the promotion period through:

5.2 Should there be any dispute in this regard, it shall be resolved in accordance with clause 9.10 of this Terms and Conditions.

6.3 Offer is not transferable. No substitution, cash redemption, or assignment of the Offer is permitted.
6.4 The Offer may differ from that shown on the promotional material with regard to color and specs and same shall be subject to availability and at the Organizer’s sole discretion to select same.
6.5 The above promotional Offer is available on a “while stock lasts” basis and the Organizer cannot be held accountable once the stock of the promotional offer/gift items has been depleted.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
7.1 To the extent permitted by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 and/or any other applicable law:
a. The participant and/or winner(s) hereby indemnifies the Organizer against any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages or loss of any kind regardless of how this was caused, and whether it arose under the law of contract or delict or otherwise, because of the participant’s entrance to the Promotion.
b. the Organizer excludes all warranties (express or implied), representations and liabilities regarding this Promotion (other than for death or personal injury caused by its negligence and/or fraud).
8. REDEMPTION OF OFFER:
8.1 The Participant will be entitled to redeem Z FOLD8 ULTRA | Z FOLD8 Series pre-order benefits upon completing payment at the point of purchase.
8.2 The Participant will redeem the Offer at the participating store where the trade-in was made.
8.3 Where the participant has bought the Device at a Participating Retail Partner, to redeem the Offer at the same Participating Retail Partner, the participant must follow the below steps:
Step 1: Prepare the Qualifying Device(s) you are trading-in to be immediately taken to Participating Retail Partner by:
a. back up files and information on the Qualifying Device; and
b. perform a factory reset on the Qualifying Device; and
c. deactivate the Qualifying Device from Google or iCloud accounts, and
d. remove SIM and memory cards.
Step 2: Access the Trade-In Partners online trade-in site via https://sentinel-exchange.com/samsung/ng/ and select the Device. Fill in your Qualifying Device details, fill in your device evaluation criteria and complete your personal information for device verification and approval.
Step 3: Hand in your Qualifying Device at a Participating Retail Partner for it to be graded in accordance with clause 4.1 (C) (III).
Step 4: Once the participant receives the trade-in value of their Qualifying Device by the Participating Retail partner, the participant must agree to the terms and conditions of the Participating Retail Partner’s trade-in agreement.
Step 5: Participants must turn on the Device before leaving the Retailer’s store.
9. GENERAL:
9.1 In accordance with the confidentiality policies and practices of the Organizer, none of the entry details of any participant in this Promotion will be disclosed or used by the Organizer for any purposes other than for entry into the Promotion and in accordance with clause 9.3 below.
9.2 Participants acknowledge and accept that the Organizer shall utilize a third party (the “Organizer’s authorized agent/s”) to contact the participant, in the event that the participant qualifies for the Promotion, and to arrange delivery of the Offer, where applicable. In order to affect the contacting and delivery process, the Organizer shall provide the participant’s information to such a third party.
9.3 By participating in the Promotion, the participants agree that the Organizer and its affiliates may contact the participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Organizer for such purpose. The Organizer may also use the personal data collected from the participants as described in the Privacy Policy accessible at www.samsung.com and that such use may include transfers to the Organizer’s affiliates and third party service providers in any country. Details of participants will not be used by the Organizer for Samsung related communication should the participants opt-out to receive further communication from the Organizer.
9.4 The Organizer may require the Participant to be identified and photographed. Photographs may be published in printed media, or the Participant may be required to appear on radio and television when accepting their Offer and/or after having received their Offer. The Participant will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Organizer’s marketing material in so far as it relates to the Promotion.
9.5 Information regarding the Promotion that is published on authorized advertising material will also form part of the terms and conditions of the Promotion.
9.6 The Organizer’s may in their sole discretion amend these terms and conditions at any time, without notice, and such amendments shall be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication of the revised terms and conditions on the Organizer’s website http://www.samsung.com/africa_en/offer/. The onus rests on the participant to constantly check the website for updates to the terms and conditions.
9.7 If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorized intervention or fraud, the Organizer reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion as appropriate, subject to the approval of relevant regulatory authorities.
9.8 Save as permitted by Law, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend or terminate this Promotion, without notice at any time, and such cancellation, termination or termination shall be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication on the Organizer’s website http://www.samsung.com/africa_en/offer/. No liability shall lie against the Organizer in favor of any participant, Participant(s) and/ or third party arising from such cancellation, suspension or termination. Therefore, the participant waives his/her right which they may have against the Organizer and hereby acknowledge that they will have no right of recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against the Organizer.
9.9 This Promotion is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, these terms and conditions, as well as those of the relevant authorized participating stores, associated with this Promotion.
9.10 Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Promotion shall be resolved amicably through mediation or negotiation. Where such dispute or claim could not be amicably resolved within 15 (fifteen) days of the dispute or claiming having occurred, such dispute or claim shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria for determination.
9.11 The Organizer accepts no liability or responsibility, whether occasioned by any circumstance not foreseeable and not within its reasonable control for late or delayed delivery of the Offer owing to, but not limited to, stock unavailability, strike, lockout, destruction of Offer on route by any means, any civil commotion or disorder, riot, the threat of war, any action taken by governmental authority or public authority of any kind, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake or other acts of God.
9.12 If part or all of any clause of these Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable:
a. It will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible;
b. It will be severed from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions will continue to have full force and effect.
9.13 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained or arising out of this Promotion or anything done or omitted to be done under this Promotion including but not limited to negligence of the Organizer, its agent or any third party acting on its behalf, and/or failure of a third party to deliver promotional gifts or awards to the Participant, or delay in delivering of promotional awards and gift items to the Participant, or performance of any related act to this Promotion, or any loss arising from foreign exchange fluctuation or currency depreciation or appreciation. However, nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall have the effect of excluding or restricting the Organizer’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of organizer’s employees or agents.
10. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
10.1 By participating in this promotion, the Participant consents to the processing of his/her personal data for the purpose of the Promotion and in accordance with these terms and Samsung privacy policy which policy is deemed incorporated into these Terms and Conditions. Please do not proceed to participate in the promotion if the Participant does not agree to the processing of his/her personal data by the organizer and/or its sub processor.
10.2 It shall be the responsibility of the Participant to read the content of organizer’s privacy policy associated with this Promotion. Where the Participant is in doubt, he/she is advised to request for a copy of the organizer’s privacy policy and may seek clarifications from the organizer’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) by sending a request email to privacy.sewa@samsung.com.
10.3 By participating in this Promotion, the Participant agrees that his/her personal data may be transferred out of Nigeria to a foreign country including Korea. In such case, the transfer shall be in accordance with Nigeria data protection laws as in force from time to time, and Organizer’s privacy policy.
10.4 Participant’s rights as a data subject are: Access and rectification of the Participant’s personal data; Objection to Processing of his/her personal data; Data Portability, Withdrawal of Consent where consent has been given; right to be forgotten. To exercise the Participant’s rights or any of the rights, the Participant shall contact the Organizer’s DPO by sending email to privacy.sewa@samsung.com.
10.5 Available Remedy: Where the Participant is not satisfied with the way the Organizer handles the Participant’s request or resolved the Participant’s complaints or the Participant’s right has been violated by the Organizer, the Participant always has the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) or any other statutory body or establishment having government’s mandate to deal solely or partly with matters relating to personal data complaints in Nigeria:
