this came with my galaxy watch 5 pro. while i do like how it's easy to put on and take off the watch, i have to point out that this is not compatible with powershare or the super fast wireless charger duo unless the band is disconnected from the watch. this is because the watch does not lay completely flat while connected to the band. maybe this band was not designed with powershare or wireless charger pads in mind, but to me it is a very important feature, so i'm giving a 2-star. if you don't care about powershare or being able to charge using chargers other than the galaxy watch 5 specific charger, then i would definitely recommend this.

I'm only going to reiterate much of what has already been said, but here goes. The band is great, in concept. Charging has been wonky because of the preform design but not impossible. The band will also release with little effort if accidentally bumped in the wrong area. I've had long sleeve shirts, door knobs, dog collars and other items randomly unbuckle the watch. It's something to be mindful of. My biggest complaint is the magnet falling out of the clip. After four months of ownership, the band is unusable because the magnet clasp no longer functions. It seems many people have the same issue, based on other reviews.

a lot of people are giving this band poor reviews because it can't use the free charger it came with or the power share. while i do agree that this band being incompatible with the free charger is poor marketing, i am rating this as a band, not based on its compatibility with the chargers. it took me a moment to figure out how to put it on, but it really is a great concept. it's easy to put on and take off, and as far as i can tell after taking it off and putting it back on, it stays fitted. i've used many different types of bands before and none of them ever fit perfectly. they were either too tight or too loose.

as previous 2 reviews have stated, this bamd isn't compatible with the witeless charger. only way to charge is os to unlatch the clasp you use to put it on one of the bands. issue with this is its somewhat cumbersome to do so everytime your want a charge. lastly, repetitive use of thos method will probably make it loose overtime and probably fail in the future. another way to charge watch would be to use the default charger that comes in the watch bix, but this defeats the ourpose of having a wireless charger. now you have to have 2 seperate chargers instead of 1. ☹️.

this is without a doubt the most over-engineered and poorly thought out band i've even seen in my life. 1) placing the band on the actual watch is needlessly difficult. you basically have to force the plastic against the watch for the metal bar to align. 2) the length adjustment of the band is needlessly difficult. you have to adjust a metal guide clasp, test the fit, and then fiddle with the length adjustment. 3) the watch band clasp is incredibly difficult to release. 4) the cost - i have no idea why this over-engineered band is as expensive as it is. i sincerely doubt this was market tested at all. whoever let this leave product development seriously needs to consider market testing before releasing a product.

obviously as everyone said its not compatible with the trio charging pad. i also had a very interesting experience why out on my harley with it the magnet is unfourtantly not strong enough to withstand 75+ mph. it's a little scary to think about lucky enough the band is secured by the flap and that held till was able to pull safely and and take the watch of to put in my bag on the bike ended up purchasing the extreme sport band to avoid this issue. i do like the band overall and will more than likely change back to it after i park the bike for the year.

I added this band when ordering my Watch 5 Pro thinking it looked good and having the word "Sport" in the name assumed it would be practical. Unfortunately it comes undone very easily! I won't wear it anywhere that falling off is an issue until I replace the strap. I also have a Samsung Trio wireless charger, and because the band doesn't open completely it can't be charged on that charger. It is comfortable, convenient to put on, and looks good, but unfortunately not practical and doesn't live up to the name. Isn't worth the price!

I got this band with my purchase of a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. I'm glad I didn't have to pay extra for the band, because this one is terrible. It is very hard to attach to the watch, more so than any other Samsung bands I own. It causes the watch to not be able to be used with the charging pad duo that I have been using with my Samsung Watches and phone. It is very hard to adjust to the proper length for comfort. I really have nothing good to say about it. I will be using the bands that I have from my prior Samsung watches.

this watch band is wonderful for the watch5 pro. the material is a bit stretchy so you can adjust it to exactly fit (and stay put!) wherever on your wrist or arm that you want it. it is especially useful for active people who don't want their watch to be shifting around on their arm. the material is very comfortable as it is both soft and flexible. some users have posted their concerns that, because of the band's rather fixed circular design, it isn't readily usable on some chargers. however, it takes less than 2 seconds to simply disengage the quick release band from either end (where it attaches to the watch) and then place the watch on any wireless charger or on the back of any galaxy mobile with has reverse charging. i find this the best watch band i have ever used!

love this band! high quality, velvet smooth silicone, the magnetic closure is strong and durable and very quick and convenient. it's also infinitely adjustable for an always precise fit! no more hassles with an adjustment that is just a little too tight or too loose, or the tail of the band sticking out and catching on things, etc. the only improvement would be to please offer this band in more colors, at least white, but also blue, orange, yellow, etc. otherwise can't say enough good things about this band!

i previously had the galaxy watch 4 with the active band. this one was easily adaptable to the wireless power charging block that i got from samsung. with the new band, it is not compatible unless you take off the magnetic d sport band. i instead must use the provided charger for power. the second challenge is i consider myself active and if you accidentally fall in the sand/dirt that has traces of iron filings in the ground the magnet will get covered with iron and there is no way to get the iron off of the magnetic d buckle. every time you take the watch on and off, you'll hear a "crunch" sound as the small metal fragments get compressed by the magnet. i'd recommend some sort of magnetic cover to clean this off and prevent unnecessary wear and tear otherwise it will be a problem.

I had this watch less than 6 months when a small pin in the band hinge mechanism broke. Luckily for me I wasn't swimming in the surf when it did. I've delt with them in the past, and wasn't prepared to send the whole watch away. Last time I did it was well over a month in their service centre before I initiated contact. Don't get me wrong the company does have good products, but it's the things like this that make you think twice before choosing or recommending them when the time comes around.

not sure who designed this super expensive band. i have a total of 5 duo / trio wireless chargers at home and work and i won't be able to charge my brand new watch5 pro because the band doesn't allow the watch to stay attached to the charger as many other people have complained here. this is a huge miss, specially for someone trying to build a strong ecosystem of accessories. i'm opening a complaint and hoping that samsung sends be another band. super dissapointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the D-Buckle band on my watch and I have no problems with it working when it's on. The issue I'm having is that with the D-Buckle band on, I cannot get the watch to sit flat enough on my trio charger to actually charge. I have to put something heavy on top of my watch to push it low enough to get a charge. I'm very saddened as the band itself is one of the pricier options and I cannot get it to work well with Samsung Trio charger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] color is nice, material quality too. but it has a problem with design. nowadays most of the chargers are wireless pad, and this band will not let you to make the watch stay straight in the wireless charger pad. so unfortunately it is a design failure. infact that, samsung offers this band for free on purchase, as well as, charger pad too. and these both items has comflict. i have no idea, how the marketing team has not noticed this.

Initially I really liked the strap, it was practical as well as comfortable. After 7 months the pin snapped, I feel samsung should replace the strap free of charge but not for the first time I've found their customer support team unapologetic and difficult to deal with. They brand the watch as an all rounder with the GPS and sports tracking capabilities as a plus point, not sure it would hold up to any strenuous activity.

i just received my new galaxy fold 4 and watch 5 yesterday as a package deal. i could not get the watch on by pushing band through buckle. without it on my wrist, i forced it in there to see if there was something wrong. then you have to use a lot of force with your fingernail to release a little clip to get the band released. this is a terrible designed band and is useless to me. going back to the traditional kind.

Initially I really liked the strap, it was practical as well as comfortable. After 7 months the pin snapped, I feel samsung should replace the strap free of charge but not for the first time I've found their customer support unapologetic and difficult to deal with. They brand the watch as an all rounder with the GPS and sports tracking capabilities as a plus point, really dissapointed with the strap.

This came with my Watch5 Pro and I absolutely hate it. The magnet is terrible and easily unclasps all the time. And then finally the hinge just broke while lifting a box. It gave zero resistance. The thing snapped like it was made of butter. I wouldn't even take this watch band as a gift because the design is that terrible. I wish I got the fake leather band that I got with my Watch3.

Bought it with the watch last September. It broke today, less than a year later. I've never had a watch band break from normal wear, let alone within a year. I'd reach out to support but they already have the earbuds I made the mistake of buying from them and haven't sent them back even though they said the repair isn't going to happen. Will not purchase a Samsung product again.

this band came with my 5 pro. it's the best. easy to adjust, easy to take on and off. i run and cycle alot so it is a true sport band. in the past i would always purchase an aftermarket band that functioned like this . i'm so pleased now i don't have to go that route as this band is perfect for my active lifestyle. soon as available i will be ordering one in black.

i dont use wireless chargers so that part doesnt apply. but, this watch band was so uncomfortable on watch 5pro. i could never get is to feel like it was pinching me. after checking to see if i could return it by itself (the whole bundle must go back, sneaky samsung). i decided to give it a try on watch 4 and it works great. might even be better on the classic model?

The M/L which is what I am in my current classic watch strap now comes up really loose. Missing the strap rings to insert the strap into as you now have to tuck it under the strap. Not enough holes in for the M/L size Awkward also to take off the watch as you have to grab it with your nail to bring it back from underneath

the magnet comes out. the first time i was able to pop it back in and it was ok for another week or so. the second time the gasket surrounding the magnet and the magnet came out, it will not go back in and stay. a little frustrating. i guess i might try super gluing it in? that's more of a question than a statement.

Works great! Quick on and off. No messy, protruding, band end, hanging out. Conventional clasps allow watch to watch to, potentially, fall, when putting them on and off. This d-buckle band always encircles the wrist, so watch much less likely to fall. Working perfectly after 2 years.

Buckle broke after 8 days of wearing it on brand new purchase of watch 6 and Samsung cannot replace the strap on its own they need me to send the watch back as well before replacing the strap which will take 7-10 days (or so they say?!?)

I bought this and wore it for a week before I switched to my other watch band. This product is made of some cheap metal, probably Nickel. I had an allergic reaction to it. Should be hypoallergenic materials.

Fro5ty, thank you for your feedback about the Samsung Galaxy Watch Magnetic D Buckle Sport Band. You can slide the end that shows the size of the band under the buckle that is on the end with the width sizing number if you lift up the buckle piece. This will allow you to adjust the size and then you flip it back down when you have the size set comfortably. Then you simply unhook the magnetic buckle to open it to slide on to your wrist and then close the magnetic buckle.
