OI absolutely love the monitor, but there are a few minor issues that I've noticed. In my opinion, the buttons and the mode switching are just a tad too sensitive. It would be great if they could also provide the option to change frequencies specifically for Samsung TVs. It can be quite frustrating when your wife is changing channels or adjusting the volume, and it affects your monitor as well. However, the real distraction arises in the multiview mode. Occasionally, when I turn on the unit, one side of the monitor goes blank or becomes fuzzy. Thankfully, I've found that exiting and reentering the multiview mode resolves this issue.

The curved screen makes a huge difference in the gaming experience, driving is awesome and playing soccer is also better compared to a flat screen. The other part of the great experience is being able to download the hue sync app and make additional light strips and hue lights (bought separately) to project light against the wall synchronized with the on screen content. This is awesome tech by philips. I was eager to use the multi screen feature with 4 different inputs. I don't se myself using it often. Overall I'm very happy with my huge monitor.

Was super stoked to get this monitor but after 5 days of usage, the monitor started to develop stuck pixels in the lower left center of the monitor. One of the pixels is a harsh white and the other red. It's noticeable in a variety of scenarios from work to gaming and was extremely upsetting to see in such an expensive new monitor. I reached out to the Samsung support for 2-3 hours only for them to close the chat on me when trying to request an exchange/repair of my monitor. Not to mention I also have samsung care + on this product. The monitor is awesome but I cannot in good faith buy a Samsung display if this is how they treat their top customers on top end hardware.

The ability to plug in multiple display sources from my work laptop allows me to use the multi display feature to its full capability as multiple displays on the one monitor. For productivity it is absolutely great. Gaming is extremely immersive; I've been enjoying a string of indie and AAA titles. The 4k display is crisp, blacks are a deep black and colours are vibrant. When not working or gaming I enjoy the smart TV features while relaxing on the couch at the other end of the room. I highly recommend this monitor!

I bought this monitor on 4th of July sale. This monitor is mindblowing the curve really makes it more immersive. The refresh rate is fantastic the picture is great, it just took some tweaking. Im coming from an oled because my oled had some dead pixels. Black Level in oled is unmatched but this monitor makes up for it in all other areas. I had the issue with the constant disconnecting and spinning wheel , apparently even though i was using a 8k hdmi cable that was the issue. I changed to cable that came in box and so far so good. features in this monitor are great its like having your own personal imax screen

I set this up almost as soon as it got delivered, and in all my time I've not found a monitor that comes close to this! I have two inputs coming from my PC, 1 input from my consoles, and 1 input set for my work computer! I can work from my work computer, while monitoring my entire network from my primary home computer, and still have space to game while I have downtime or on my breaks while still being able to keep an eye on everything else going on on my boards. The HDMI 2.1 new gen ports allows you to connect to all new gen consoles and get full usage of the port. The sock built speakers are great but o would still connect some type of external sound! The multi view is great plus , where u can do numerous of task at once! It is very heavy to put on wall your self so please try to get another hand to help! The wall mounts were difficult to find the correct size to fit…. Overall I recommend this monitor to every gamer out there!

I work from home a few days a week and the multi windows/apps are great for either my productivity for work or have something more fun on the side. Most days I'm working on one window and streaming Samsung TV on another. Sometimes I will mirror from my phone or tablet too. Changing sizes on the windows is still a feature too. All my other Samsung products sync easily as well, whether is my Buds Pro 3, my Z Fold 6 or my ultra 8 tablet. I also game on it with my Xbox and the curve just makes it more immersive and fun.

I have had to move farther back from it to be able to see the whole thing, and really appreciate the ability to divide it up into separate sectors with different inputs. I have had it for only a week, and keep discovering more features. The picture is very clear, setup was straightforward...but you will need two people. It is a beast at over 100 lbs. The pedestal and backing are very heavy. Make sure that you have a desk that can support it. I've played a few games and experienced no ghosting. This thing is amazing and would highly recommend.

It actually enables you to have the monitor closer other 55" monitors could be because the curve keeps more of the screen in your view. Motion blur is handled very well on it with basically zero ghosting even on high fps games. Media content is also a pleasure to watch. Content creation on it is a dream. Being able to rotate the Montior is icing on 5he cake. If you can get it on one of it's many stellar sales there's no monitor that's comes close!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the productivity increase from this thing as a vertical monitor next to my ultra wide OLED that I use for gaming etc. The only complain I'd have is the backlight has some problems with icons and sometimes the mouse doesn't trigger the localized blacklight to turn on. This gets worse when you turn on auto-dimming or whatever, but then the icons all look better. The one box runs a bit hot, but far from important. Samsung needs to do a better job overall with their remotes controlling multiple devices, I've got pieces of foil and tape over sensors all over the room this monitor is in to prevent cross communication. Mainly IR which seems to be active instead of bluetooth when the monitor is off being turned on.

From a productivity standpoint is a beast, it has up to 4 video inputs so I have both my personal and work laptop, both using 2 monitor spots each. I use the tv box as my docking station and I can seamlessly change from one laptop with just the remote. For gaming, no need to go into details as it's basically the latest cutting edge technology (and a little more with Ark mode/vertical mode). In addition, it's also a smart tv, so I have all my streaming apps and shows that I can watch while doing work.

You have to go into game mode to get the 32:9. HDMI and kvm switch is really nice, to share mouse and keyboard with multipledevices. The sound is great for built in speakers. Streaming games is great, loads fast. What make this 5 stars is double audio with HDMI devices, not just in monitor apps. Love to work on laptop and listen to music, or stream a show. Be able to listen to music when click on laptop screen. With that i could have monitor for everything, and do not have to find the webpage for music and stop it. The easy connect screen share takes a lot of work to get a good quality resolution of laptop.

I love the everything about it except for the volume. To change volume you have to raise/lower it by, in my opinion, way to much to get it to seem like it changed at all. Example: if I'm having an issue hearing something, I have to raise it like 30-40 levels. I have a Samsung t.v. and to raise the volume on it, I only have to go up 10-15. I expected the Ark to be the same. It behaves the same with Intelligent Sound Mode on or off. I've had the Ark for 3 months now and am really considering using the speakers I was using before getting the Ark...

This monitor has the most features I've ever seen in a monitor and most I never thought I need till I started using it. I though a 55" monitor would be too much, but with the features you can use the 4k 165hz screen at any size you want and can also change the aspect ratio which is awesome. I wish there was more freedom of where you could place the other displays, but maybe in an update that will change. I would recommend to gamers and people who work from home who use multiple displays. Only thing I wish it could do was allow you to either stack 2 utra wide displays at 2k or have 1 2k display and 2 1080 displays on top of the ultra wide.

My previous gaming monitor was great for gaming but colors were not very accurate. The odyssey is great in both! Colors are way more accurate and the gaming is beautiful and super smooth with the high response rate and free sync. Only grip I have is the swapping from game mode back and forth. I wish it was easier or even automatic when it senses a game start. Overall it deserves great praise for being such an overkill monitor.

The initial goal was to purchase a monitor that could not only enhance my gaming and daily driver experience but to replace my old TV and this beast certainly delivers in bith regards. Main game of choice when I initially purchased the Monitor was Baldurs Gate and the visuals were incredibly crisp and prestine. I can say I'm thoroughly impressed by the deep contrast in horror games . Long story short if you have the coin and you want to maximize your visual experience this beast is the way to go.

Each was my main monitor at one time before the g9. I wish I could budget two more of the Odyssey Arc G9 monitors. Having 3 in an arc with surround gaming, nv or amd, would be awesome. When a do more productivity type work, browse, excel, word (office in general) the large size and super clear text is pure uber. If you can budget and fit in your desk/wall I can highly recommend. The only con is physically setting up the device. The in instruction say you need a friend, believe it. Once done you don't need to worry about that again. Can absolutely not be used for gaming, its horrible in almost every way. Software1: the split view and multiview they talk to much about is flawed and locked to silly settings. Software2: it will often interrupt everything you're doing to tell you that a software update is available, or that you have been inactive for too long (even though you are gaming) you then have to find the remote and press multiple buttons before you can continue with your game. Software3: if i leave and it goes to sleep mode, it wakes up with a useless resolution and i have to do 12 presses on the remote to get my desired resolution back (go into settings, disable and enable gaming mode, leave settings, wait, now you can contiue) they messed up so badly, this is a decent smart tv, not a pc monitor.

It's big is an understatement. Its better to have a good graphics card to enjoy better quality in games. The setup is possible by one person if you would like to have body pains for the night. The multi screen thing is beautiful works great. Basically a TV masquerading as a monitor. Lucky I bought this on 50 % discount wouldn't have bought it if it was more than that. In Australia Don't buy it any more than 2K. Its not worth more than that. There are various other options you can enjoy at that price.

Ich habe den Monitor gekauft als Ersatz für meinen 47" Curved. Der erste Eindruck war riesig und eine sehr gute Bildqualität, aber meiner Meinung nach eher schwierig für den "normalen" Schreibtisch. Da das Seitenverhältnis sehr hoch ist, hat man einen schlechten Überblick. Trotzdem war es beeindruckend ein Spiel wie z.B. Call of Duty zu spielen, weil man sich fühlt, als wäre man mitten im Geschehen. Mein Fazit: Nicht jedermann Sache aber defintiv ein sehr guter Monitor. Meine Empfehlung testet in aus

Have had this for about 2 months. I don't use all of the features. I use it mostly for a Computer Monitor and it is great for that. Accidentally found a setting yesterday that makes the picture AMAZING (not sure which one though). This is NOT something you set up by yourself. It needs at least 2 MEN. Minor issues: Stand at lowest setting is a bit too high. Was Expecting MUCH better native sound (4 speaker and 2 subs it says) - ended up with a Bose Soundbar. Support didn't know it Toslink on controller box was in or out (or really anything about this Monitor). Does a very very poor job at switching from Full Screen gaming to apps on the second Monitor. (weird black screen gap). Lastly, I have ignored the update as people in Reddit have reported it messes up the Multi-input.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is the following: Every couple weeks apps would be slow to load. I toggle the wireless off and on in setting. Then thing work normally. The second thing is weight. It is a heavier monitor. The stand is 40lbs. So I took precautions and made supports to the floor and not have weight solely on desk and bend it. It takes 2 people to move. I now in a smaller apartment and still want to keep the move for easy of moving. But I love the flexibility of multitasking on 1 screen. I have have 4 27" windows for my laptop, or on the fly change the windows size on extend screen off my laptop. Other then that a great monitor.

It has extremely brilliant graphics while gaming whether or not on a console, PC, or gaming directly from the monitor. Yes, game directly on the monitor from the cloud with Xbox game pass. It's a monitor, gaming console, PC, and streaming smart TV all in one. Wouldn't even hesitate to purchase one again. I will say it's heavy though and most arms won't work, in fact I only found 1 that could handle the weight and still operate as you would expect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is a monster in terms of gaming, sometimes however i think it is an overkill but i can easily reduce screen size if i feel like the large size is reducing image quality or its too big and i am back to whatever size i want. The multi display using same input was what took a while to set up as the care wasn't really very helpful and there were no instructions so that's something i might be angry upon but overall it was a satisfactory purchase if you can spare the cash, love it.

I bought this product August 6th and have been using it since the 18th and so far I like it very much. Also easy to set up, just follow the instructions and you will realize that it's very simple. The graphic and volume is great and you can install many apps. This monitor can basically be used as a Smart TV and more. Of course I bought it when it was on sale. Lol. Very good call on making the remote USB C and solar chargeable. I will definitely say that I am happy with my purchase. 😊

My experience was great overall. At first there were issues but the Samsung team immediately rectified the problem. In 2024 I purchased the 2nd generation. It became a game changer. From the split screen for game play to the horizontal mode that is great for social media or financial charts this monitor allows so many options. I use it as a pc monitor which is the best for multiple windows open without losing space for emails, charts, pictures, videos, etc. The frame rate is great which gives a crisp clear picture no matter what mode you are in. The separate remote with wheel makes transitioning from one mode to the next seamless. I can't speak highly enough on how more efficient I am working with this monitor not to mention the fun I have gaming and/or watching video content. Yes, you heard that correct! This think is cool on paper and in videos you see online and when it is working it is actually nice. But it has performance issues and horrible support. It is not worth the money when the known issues are still a problem. While using the device it will black out regardless of the options you choose. The software is bad and delayed most of the time. Support is not helpful. I had to explain to the "support" it is one device with a separate box not multiple monitors. It is a shame.

That is just a little setback, but now I don't even notice. This monitor helps me space out and organize with multiple screens. I can connect both my work and personal computer and keep things separate on one screen. I await to see what software updates come out to expand this great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the monitor, the dual input is great, being able to multitask works really well. the auto switching inputs can be kind of annoying as it doesn't work as well on PC as it does with devices with CEC. Do appreciate the KVM and ability to manage all the cables away from the screen. The screen itself is great, resolution and picture quality are really good and the rotate feature is awesome and easy to use. the monitor does weigh a ton though, so be prepared for that.

It's great for 4k gaming thanks to its high resolution, and it has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, so you can play games at high refresh rates. However, because it doesn't have a DisplayPort input, your graphics card must support HDMI 2.1 bandwidth to use the monitor fully. Other than that, it has low input lag for a responsive feel and a quick response time at high refresh rates, but there's more smearing at lower refresh rates

We had heard other friends say that gaming isn't complete without a really good monitor to go with it and they were right! And people that come over always go straight to the monitor because it looks so futuristic. It wasn't meant to be the center focal point but it definitely has. People keep complaining about connection or quality.. all i can say to those people is "That's a skill issue". I can't even think of any method how i can connect my monitor wrong way lol. Everything works as it should if you have good quality cables that can transfer that amount of data and proper PC to handle it. Only negative thing is that Smart Hub. I would love to connect my PC + fuser or KVM directly into monitor ports. That's all.

So far, I'm very happy with this monster. I don't play FPS, but what I do play; ONI, Factorio, Enshrouded, Grounded. They all are so fun to play on this thing. I did have to play with some settings but it's at a good spot now. I do like to split screen; Youtube plays on the monitor (sound) and I use my PC speakers for the games. Monitor sound isn't amazing but it's good for a monitor. So far, it's been a great experience. 😁

I have been using mine for about a year now and am very pleased. I use it for CAD, mostly 3d, Autodesk Inventor. My business partner took one look and ordered one for himself. I am considering getting another on for my home office. It interfaces well with an additional 32" flat, side monitor. AutoCAD, for some reason doesn't seem to like it. It runs fine I just get a warning to reset display limits on startup. I had no issues with Autodesk 3D software. I do have some minor complaints 1- on its stand it was to high above my desk and I had to build a stand slightly lower than my desk top to get it at a comfortable elevation. 2- It asks too many questions! I wish that I could simply set it up and let it run (no, I don't want to connect to that Bluetooth device) 3- I don't need two remote control devices, the dial thing just went into the trash as a desk hog.

The graphics are so high quality that he feels immersed in the games he plays. I love how easy it was to set up and how stable it feels on the desk even for the size. Hab ihn jetzt seit einer Woche und bis auf Kleinigkeiten, überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln. Mir rutscht nur manchmal das Herz in die Hose, wenn ich den Monitor eine zeitlang nicht benutzt habe. Da das Bild sehr dunkel erscheint, sodass man denkt er wäre nicht an. Zum Glück muss ich dann nur das Hdmi-Kabel einmal wieder neu einstecken und es funktioniert wieder. Bisher die beste Entscheidung mir das Ding zu kaufen.

I love playing my switch on it so far and can't wait until I get my new console to see how amazing these games look on this huge 55" screen. The biggest and really only issue was how heavy it is. When it was delivered the driver wouldn't help bring it in and it's very difficult to assemble and get it going. I recommend it but make sure you know it's 90 pounds and cumbersome.

I probably am partially to blame for not checking properly as I thought I could have split screens for both my personal and work pc and that was what I bought this monitor for. My previous set up had 2 34 inch monitors side by side and I thought the Ark would solve my problem. But instead all it offered me in Multiview function was either one or I could connect both pc, one connecting wirelessly and the other using HDMI and gave a very small screen on the display for one of them, which wasn't what I wanted. Now I have a very large monitor for displaying just one of work or personal pc... The multiview also doesn't allow me to display the pc with anything from my Media Hub like Netflix, Disney + etc and only let's me display the Samsung TV Plus.... In terms of gaming, it works very well with my PS5 and I enjoy playing games with multiplayer screen with the kids.

Whole the Ark Dial is a little bit clunky, it feels good to scroll and go through the menus with. Gaming with it is a breeze and with HDR and Game Mode enabled, colors absolutely pop and the blacks are quite deep for a non OLED screen.

The curved screen helps a lot and adds more immersion. Curved screens are a must for a screen this size. I think you'll need to sit close to 3 ft away to really see everything on the screen. I have it connected to a PC with a RTX 4090, and I've had no issues with dropouts or odd screen artifacts at 4k, 165hz. The colors are vibrant and blacks are good for gaming and watching videos. HDR can cause some issues with washed colors or blurred text after watching something in HDR. I had to turn HDR off and on to fix. With the size of the screen and it being curved, it is a luxury to have many windows opened and see everything clearly. This would help those who have to sit in front of a monitor several hours a day. Text is fairly sharp in HDMI. I would definitely recommend this monitor to heavy PC users.

My only complaint is how heavy it is. It's 90 pounds and not easy to assemble and put into place on your desk. I have no other negatives, but this is a big one. The Odyssey Ark Gen 2 is unlike any monitor I've ever seen in my life Samsung has impressed again. The colors are so crips and bright. It's like looking out a window. The refresh rate is so much faster than I expected. I watched some nature shows on the screen and it didn't disappoint. I really enjoy the bright colors and vibrancy of the output. It comes with two remotes and a one connect box which makes it easier to connect the monitor to gaming consoles and my pc. Pros: Visually impressive Fast refresh rate Quick easy connections Cons: Extremely heavy -- takes two very strong people to lift it after assembly Not easy to assemble

I really wanted to like this monitor but after about 6 months of using it, it has major problems that need fixing. - complete lack of firmware updates - cripplingly aggressive blooming mitigation that crushes brightness and inverts colors - cripplingly aggressive blooming mitigation that crushes brightness and inverts colors (a problem so bad I have to list it twice) - Nvidia DLDSR support on PC is completely missing and would greatly help with the mediocre PPI - lack of response time control beyond 3 preset options - increased input lag in multiview mode Just to name the most glaring problems that I've personally faced. It makes this monitor hard to recommend which is a shame because the display technology is there but Samsung has gone out of its way to cripple its potential. My issues can be resolved with firmware updates but clearly, there is no hope that they will fix things, considering it has not received a single update since release.

These are by far the best monitors I've ever purchased (I've always had Samsung TV's and monitors). The feature set blows away EVERYTHING ELSE on the market! From clarity to sound, you won't be disappointed. While a tad pricy, I can promise you, it is worth every cent. I purchased 4 of them for my Alienware system and I'm so happy I did.

The picture is stunning and the graphics and refresh speed are on point! We love everything about this gaming monitor and best of all my son is very happy with it and that's priceless to see your child smile and be happy! If you are on the fence about this because of the price, I am telling you as a mother of 5 that it is worth the investment!

This is the worst monitor I have ever owned. When you turn it on you get a message popup about the docking station config which I do not want to setup. Even if you select "do not show again" it still pops up again on next boot. If you don't turn the monitor on first before turning on your computer it counts down for 60 seconds and turns off with no signal detected. You just simply cannot turn on the computer first before the monitor. You have to force your computer to shutdown and then turn the screen on first. The countdown when no signal is detected cannot be disabled. The bloom effect for local dimming is extremely distracting so you often have to switch off local dimming completely to get a decent picture. This monitor is also very heavy so you need 2 people to move it. The Ethernet port was also broken out of the box and I had to RMA the one connect box. I would not recommend this product at all. Just buy a OLED TV with a high refresh rate if you like the 55 inches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So much is built into this 55” monitor, that I was able to drastically simplify my cord management I didn’t expect the built-in speakers to be great…but they are. I really like good immersive sound, when I’m gaming. Outside of headphones, these speakers are just fine. I was able to retire my old external Bose’ speaker set. You don’t need an Xbox, it is one. I also love that the connections box (I forget the actual name of it) is a separate unit. So, the monitor plugs into this box, and everything else too. No having to do the monitor reach-around to add an external component. You can add a keyboard and mouse directly to this box as well. I love that the remote pad has a solar cell for the included rechargeable battery. I have my gaming pc connected to this monitor, and I am able to run 4 windows seamlessly, using Window’s snap grids, at the top of the monitor. So Many Uses! It will blow your mind. Just get one already. It will pay for itself, by you leaving the house less.

I was like dang. Then we added the fold 6 as part of the multiple screen. I was amazed. Immediately I ordered one for me personally. I don't game like my son, I do have a ps4(DVD/Blu-ray), but I use TV antenna converter for channels 2 to 68, local channels for news, weather, and football, YouTube and my favorite my Z fold 6. Yes I multiple screen often. I have Netflix, Disney +, Prime video and other streaming apps. Ah yes the monitor turns to portrait mode, that's crazy 🤪. I love this TV. This TV/monitor is the best ever I've purchased. Literally bought 2 of them. Thank you for making the odyssey ark 2nd generation. Oh almost forgot, I didn't purchased 1st generation because it didn't multiple screen per reviewers. So I waited for 2nd generation. P.S. I was able to wall mount the TV, thx for providing the wall piece.

The only issue is when connecting an external resolution upscaler device for the Switch. The monitor does not recognize the device output signal. This external device works on all other monitors and televisions, just not this monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has taken my gaming to yhe next level. I have a nvidia 3080, and finally feel like I'm actually getting the full benefits. I preferred this to the ultra curve monitors due to the aspect ratio, this curve is just enough that I feel like I'm wearing the helmet in a 1st Person shooter.
