We had a custom pool finished in May and this tv just sets it all off and completes our forever vacations in our backyard. We have had hundreds of compliments and they can't believe the quality and sound of the soundbar. We too it a step further and added the Samsung MXT70 sound station and the parties are taken to another sound level. We are still in shock at the level of satisfaction. The soundbar, Terrace TV, and MXT70 are SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!! Well done Samsung. You have a customer for life.

The soundbar works great outdoors and has no problems being exposed to different types of weather due to the IP55 rating, which means we can hang outside anytime of year. With a built in 210 watt sub woofer and center channel, the sound quality is excellent. We can stand anywhere in our yard and hear clearly. The distortion cancelling technology ensures we hear everything. The soundbar was easy to connect to our TV. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection options also made connecting our phones for music and other show options really quick.

It has boosting analyzing and autocorrecting distortion which means, it helps with noise cancelling which reduces distortion before it even happens. Now, what takes this tv to another level outdoors is the sound-bar, which can be hung with the tv or separately. I hooked it up to the tv using connector brackets. The sound bar is beautiful and creates a talking piece with guests. The sound is great and the listening options for tv vs music via your phone are fantastic. A well rounded sound with the ability to adjust the bass to your ear was a pleasant surprise. All in all, Samsung has delivered an amazing product that is sure to make anyone’s outdoor space a favorite for family and friends.

I Move it around between me and my kids for gaming, movies, music, parties or if we want some alone time and use it for a calming type scenario. Even though it's mainly for outdoor, that doesn't stop us from moving it inside ouder sound for gaming and movies. I don't know what we would do without our sound bar and if anything happened to it we would just buy another one right away. We rarely go over a Level 3 because it provides such clear & powerful sound. It was very easy to setup and the TV automatically turns it on when it’s needed. The only thing I would recommend to Samsung would be to provide some type of Video Interface with the TC so you can see the Menu on Screen, when you would want to. I would also like to see a Hearing-aid interface, which I haven’t figure out if its capable or not, but appears not to be. The waterproof remote works great and the LED Menu screen is fairly easy to read. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback!

With over 200 watts of power, it filled my porch without breaking a sweat! This bar has 3 dedicated channels but achieves Dolby 5.1 surround sound with some magic processing. Surround quality will vary based on the environment, but in my screened-in porch, it sounded amazing. It also connected wirelessly to the TV removing the need for any additional cable runs. It’s nice to be able to have the soundbar as a connected speaker to Amazon Alexa devices to play music. In my opinion, this is a must have in an outdoor environment and pairs perfectly with the Samsung Terrace outdoor TV.

Great sound from this speaker on my terrace. Projects sound well, low distortion, clear vocals, good dynamic range.
Cons:
Wifi services like Spotify Connect are slow to connect and slow to respond to inputs like track changes.
Bought two of these outdoor soundbars hoping to sync the sound between them for more immersive coverage of my terrace, but I cannot seem to create an audio/speaker group in the SmartThings app. Please, Samsung, provide a firmware update to allow this feature! (without bricking my device ;) )

Even better is sounds great. I did not expect much base, and it does not have a separate subwoofer like my other sound bars, but it delivers great sound, and clean strong base. I used it for tv sound, and as expected it was perfectly synced. I also listened to books and music over Bluetooth. Again crisp clear sound. It looks good, and is large, but not to large. Perfect companion to my new tv.

My wife loves to have cookouts and big gatherings she does the decorating and cooking while I am normally in charge of outside set ups, yard maintenance along with the music and entertainment. Our normal speaker was never enough... Too quiet crackled when cranked all the way up and too clunky. But with the Terrace Outdoor Soundbar the game has changed. Its loud enough for everyone can hear it wherever they are. No crackling when cranked all the way up, just nice smooth listening. The bass is heard and felt. Most of all it's built for the OUTDOORS. Over the years I have gone through so many soundboard and NON have been like this one. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE LOOKING TO LIVEN UP THERE GATHERINGS AND EXPERIENCE GOOD SOUND QUALITY!!!

i bought the sound bar to go with the samsung terrace 55inch tv. i use the sound bar on my out door patio. this sound bar easily mounts under the terrace tv. i use the bluetooth to connect with the tv or to play music off my phone. with the sound bar turned up to 20 you can easily hear what's on the terrace tv anywhere in the back yard. the base isn't bad either, but its not anything like an indoor sound bar system. i would like to see samsung make a security mount or device for this sound bar.

You can use the Bass button to adjust the bass volume within a -6 to +6 range. The sound is optimized for use outdoors. Had issues for months with the speaker not working in Adaptive or Standard mode. Made multiple contacts to support prior to warranty expiration. The issue has worsened to now Surround mode not working. 2 months after warranty expiry support recommends a new speaker but I have to pay. They will not honor the multiple contacts previously. Even if they did, the fact this product went defective only a couple months in demonstrates the poor quality.
Don’t buy this product and don’t buy Samsung.

The sound is deep and clear with no distortion. I really appreciate how the sub is built into the soundbar and there isn’t a need for an additional external sub. The bass coming from the sound bar is great! We have used the soundbar to stream music while on the patio. I really like the aspect of being able to use Bluetooth and not have to worry about additional speakers. I was worried the sound would get lost in the large outdoor space, but the soundbar is built well to distribute the sound in a way that it sounds full and doesn’t wash out.

Although TV sounds good, the sound bar improves the sound in my outdoor space. The down side is there is no way to secure bar discreetly. Anyone could walk off with it. Also, the mount brackets that attach to the TV are unattractive. TV is on articulating mount so sound bar is mounted directly to TV instead of wall. Could use some sort of cover on mounting brackets for a neater appearance. Sound bar is not very stylish, but it does the job. And my number one complaint is the GIANT brick power supply. I managed to hide it behind TV, but Samsung should supply power directly from TV for a streamlined installation. I had to change my outdoor all weather receptacle to accept the angle plugs and get creative with hiding the BRICK behind TV.

The Soundbar looks perfectly matched with The Terrace TV as it should. In our setup it fit nicely right underneath the TV which is mounted on a stand, not a wall. We have another soundbar system in the house that includes a sub and rear speaker, so I was not expecting this soundbar to compete in sound with those. Still, it is set to adaptive sound and it really sound great. I was surprised that the bass was noticeable. Whether we were watching sports, a movie, or network TV, I had zero complaints with how this soundbar dealt with the sound.
This soundbar is a MUST if you are getting the Terrace TV. It's built to withstand the same elements the TV does, and it's a perfect pair. I would absolutely recommend this soundbar, and I have loved Samsung products for a long time.

I have had this this the outdoor terrace 65 inch set up for two full seasons. Sometimes we would find connection problems . At the end of this season , we could not reconnect speaker to tv. We shut down , and are hoping with the long shut down they will find themselves again. No question, picture ,purpose , sound is of top quality.

Wish they would include screws to hang the power cord though. Wifi set up doesn’t seem to work, but Bluetooth is easy, though with a slight delay between video and sound.

For your Wi-Fi, there are a few things to consider such as how far away the router is from your soundbar, and what the walls are made of that are between the router and the soundbar. This can cause issues when connecting for the first time. I would suggest taking the Soundbar inside and use the SmartThings app on your smart device to pair the unit to Wi-Fi. 1. My neighbors came over because they thought we actually had a small band playing!! If you are looking for an easy way to have a quality sound experience outdoors this is it. The sound seemed to come from all around the area not just one box that you have to turn up so much that you can't be near it, and if you turn it down then the people put in the yard couldn't hear it. I don't know how they do it but the way the sound seems to be coming from multiple speakers all over the yard is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend you give this a try. You be glad you did. Since the party the family and I turn it on anytime we are gonna be outside, and have actually found we spend more time outdoors than we did before. The Terrace Soundbar was designed to be used with the Terrace line of TV’s. The Samsung Terrace Soundbar comes with all the hardware needed to mount it to the bottom of the Terrace TV. Mounting is not difficult. The wiring can be done with the included optical connection or via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. There is no HDMI option, which I thought was odd, I feel that would have been the best option to use. The connection I used was the optical and the TV detected it automatically. I did not have to use the remote that was included. The remote is also made to be used outside and weather proofed. The audio settings are decent. There is no separate subwoofer included, so the deep bass is lacking. The sound though is good enough. Being that the Samsung Terrace Soundbar was made for outdoor use, the construction is good and clear enough. I am happy, it completes the patio setup.

I calm myself down to exercise and do yoga after putting up the volume to the beat of calming rushing river. I never need to fix my performance but I know that the bass is there for the party nights when my friend come over.

The only negative is that I am not a fan of the mounting system. Samsung could have done better here.

The Terrace Soundbar is designed to be paired with the Terrace TV. Since built for the outdoors, it's an all in one solution with no separate subwoofer or rear speakers. Inside the case is a center speaker (3.0 Channel), Dolby 5.1ch and built in subwoofer. It is designed to be hung on a wall or can be placed on a table.
The remote is solid, practically identical to the TV remote, but it does say Soundbar on it. Once I paired it with the TV and the Fios One box, I use the Fios remote for everything except settings. Even then I can use the Smart Things app to tweak the system settings.
Once everything was setup, I went through the settings an after quickly changing the sound settings, I quickly settled on adaptive sound. It does a great job in my porch providing a solid and full sound. No thumping bass as would be expected, but the range from hi to lo works well.
The Terrace Soundbar is perfect to pair with the Terrace TV. They look and operate well together.

It was truly mindblowing when I heard the acoustics, optimized surround, powerful sound. I have always been a full ambient sound fanatic since I was a junior in high school and my father brought home our first home theater system. Over the years I had tried different systems but none like the Terrace HW-LST70T/ZA. From the moment you switch it on, it delivers a thrilling experience. We have it setup in our backyard roofed deck and the sound quality and blend just completely mesmerizes our guests. Much more than just for a sunday night football game experience, the action movies deliver an in-depth atmosphere that can't be equaled, in my opinion. The installation and easy setup, just surpass anything I had previously engaged in. It definitely brings the theater home. The performance of the solid bass is everything above wonderful. This product is on my top 10 of must-have home appliances. Satisfied customer and recommending 100%.
