Set a music file as a notification sound

 

To use a music file as a notification sound, it must be stored in the Notification folder in the internal storage on your phone. Download and move the music files you want to use to the Notification folder in the internal storage by following the steps below.

Step 1

Launch the My Files app and tap Audio.

Step 2

Touch and hold the music file that you want to set as the notification sound.

Step 3

Tap the Copy icon at the bottom.

Step 4

Go back to the Home of the My Files app and select Internal storage.

Step 5

Tap Essentials and select All to see all folders.

Step 6.

Select the Notifications folder.

Step 7.

Tap Copy here.

Step 8.

You will see the copied music file on the list of notification sound, and you can now set it as a notification sound.

You can set different notification sounds for each app. Follow the steps below to set each notification sound.

Step 1

Launch the Settings app and tap Apps.

Step 2

Select the app you want to change a notification sound for and tap Notifications. For example, the Message app.

Step 3

Tap General notifications and tap Sound.

Step 4

Select your desired sound.
