[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having this soundboard and subwoofer combo is great. I don't even have to turn it up halfway to get a movie theater-like experience sound-wise. If I do turn it up all the way, it can make the walls shake depending on what's going on with what I'm watching at the moment, lol. The setup was amazingly easy as well, and I definitely wouldn't say I'm amazingly skilled with setting up electronics, so if you're like me, there's no need to worry about a tough setup. My fiance plays video games, and it's great for the sound with that, too. Another great Samsung product, can't say I'm surprised by it being everything I wanted it to be and then some.

Having tried several soundboard throughout the years I can say this one is one of the best ones I have had. The audio is clear. No disconnecting like with some of the lesser brands. The performance is much better quality than what you would expect if your expectations are based on the price point. This will not hold up to a full surround sound system but it is great if you do not wish to run wires for rear speakers. The bass is clean with a single sub that is in sync with the rest of the system. Dialog is clear but you will find the same volume leveling problems that have you turning the volume up and down to hear conversations after sound action scenes.

The setup was very easy, as I used an HDMI with the ARC input. I have used wireless before, and it's also pretty simple as long as you can follow directions and prompts. My sound bar is great except that it cuts out randomly. It's only for a second, but that is VERY annoying during important dialogue or during a loud and explosive scene. I've tried to communicate with Sammy about this and I haven't received helpful assistance. Other sound bars I've had from Samsung also have a great bass response, but don't cut out. It doesn't help with immersing the viewer.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help: First, make sure your Soundbar is running the latest firmware. Visit Samsung.com, select Support > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Audio > Home Audio > Soundbars, then locate your Soundbar model and download the newest firmware version. The update can be installed using a USB flash drive, and Samsung provides step-by-step instructions on the support page. You should also verify that your TV has the latest software installed by navigating to Settings > Support > Software Update on your TV. Next, perform a soft reset by unplugging the Soundbar from power for approximately 30 seconds, then plugging it back in and testing it again. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. With the Soundbar powered on, press and hold the Volume + and Volume - buttons on the Soundbar itself for at least 5 seconds until "INIT OK" or "INIT" appears on the display. You can also reset the Soundbar using the remote: with the Soundbar powered on, press and hold the Sound Control (Gear) button for about 10 seconds. When "150HZ" appears on the display, continue holding the button until "INIT" appears, then release it. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sound bar is fantastic. It has great sound quality for stereo music listening as well as great for multi-channel TV audio. It is not always the case that sounds bars have quality sound with for both purposes. It was very easy to set up and the remote is easy to use. Pairing the subwoofer to the soundbar was beyond easy. I rarely buy audio products without hearing them first and this was an exception and I was completely satisfied with my purchase. There is more than enough low end to get things thumping and clear dialogue when you want it. Lots of volume if you need it and all the control of the multi channel speakers should you want to adjust.

Dialogue comes through clean, the bass has real punch thanks to the wireless subwoofer, and Dolby Atmos adds a surprisingly immersive effect for a mid-range setup. It’s especially good for action movies, gaming, and everyday TV watching. The downside is that it skips some higher-end smart features like Wi-Fi streaming and AirPlay, but if your focus is cinematic sound and strong value, the Q600F delivers a genuinely enjoyable upgrade over built-in TV speakers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased for my husband for Christmas. Someone had returned it, without the box so we got a great price! It has wonderful sound, with quality dialogue; voices are clear and crisp. The bass is controllable, but has a very very good sound when watching action movies or listening to music. We utilize this for our 75" TV and we really really enjoy it. The sound feels immersing, dimensional, and overall the quality is amazing. The only setback we have found is that the ARC connection sometimes lags with conversation on the TV. Unsure if this is a TV issue or a sound bar issue nonetheless it has exceeded our expectations! Will be a loyal customer again in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HW-Q600F soundbar and subwoofer is topnotch and actually provide better bass and treble sound quality than my old receiver and exterior speaker setup. The dialogue clarity is especially crisp and easily decipherable even for those of us with bad hearing. The soundbar was easily setup and compatible with my Samsung smart TV. However, the soundbar and bluetooth headphones cannot be used simultaneously on my Samsung TV, so if I'm donning my headphones when watching TV other folks listening in the room have to rely on the TV speakers for sound. This is not ideal by any stretch as the TV speakers provide tinny sound at best with far less quality bass and treble than the soundbar.

Also, I have been having some severe issues with Two** of my Samsung Soundbars one being the flagship set of 2024 disconnecting randomly during movies....alot.... like we even looked it and others are having the same issues. Are there any fixes in the works???

I did some research and decided to buy the Samsung Q600f. It paired very easy with our Samsung tv, that was a positive. The bass was disappointing from the subwoofer. Also, adjusting the front, center, treble and bass settings didn’t seem to ever sound like the settings were right. I tried to look up the best settings online. The smart things app never paired with the soundbar. That was frustrating. If I could, I’d definitely pay more $$ and upgrade to the 800 or 900.

The HW-Q600F soundbar does not support the SmartThings app. You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND MODE button to select the desired pre-equalized sound setting. The choices are SURROUND SOUND – GAME – ADAPTIVE SOUND – DTS VIRTUAL:X – STANDARD. To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, press the TONE CONTROL button and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons. Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. I have a love hate relationship with this soundbar. I really love clarity of the dialogue, you can keep it at a low volume and still hear voices perfectly. The problem I have with it is somehow it is incompatible with my Samsung S90D OLED. Everytime I turn on the TV I have to manually reconnect the soundbar for it to work properly. I think it might need an update but it doesn't allow over the air updates you need to somehow load the file onto a USB and need to hit buttons in a specific pattern. Either way amazing soundbar but one huge flaw.

I mounted if under our Samsung TV and use it all with Apple TV and they all work seamlessly together. My last sound bar (not Samsung) lacked a little bass but this one provides a perfect level for everyday use. You're not gonna get a mind blowing movie experience, but that should be obvious with what you're getting. However we have no complaints with this purchase for our everyday TV and movie use as a family!

It works with both smart TVs as well as other TVs or audio devices. The sound is good and clear. The remote works well to adjust the volume and to select the method used to connect to the TV. Very good value. It is a good size to use with any TV and the soundbar looks great. The tower bases are a great option for using on a shelf or TV stand plus you have the option to wall mount the speakers.

Dialogue comes through crisp and centered, even during action scenes. I’m not cranking the volume just to hear what people are saying anymore. Even though I am not using surround speakers at this time, the sound fills my living room rather well and the immersion while watching movies is really good. I bought this sound bar/sub woofer on sale and it was well worth the price. This is not a cheap soundbar, and it is not top of the line either. It is the one step down from top soundbars, buy it you'll be happy.

It has come to our attention that customers may be positioning the soundbar incorrectly, resulting in poor sound quality. The soundbar should be placed with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. (Refer to product photos on Samsung.com and zoom in on the photos) If you have incorrectly placed the soundbar with the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor (facing you when you sit), you will experience muffled or low-quality sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers. The overall sound quality in respect to the surround is excellent. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is the subwoofer not performing as well as I expected. I had to turn down the other channels individually in the settings to be able to hear and feel the bass at the volume necessary to have that experience without the other speakers being too loud.

Sounds great. Upgraded from an older model from 5 years ago. The 3 channels of the Q600F do a decent job. The heights are great. The base from the subwoofer is very good but controlled. You can feel its presence, you can go as loud as you want, and it will never not sound amazingly great but controlled. Its a good thing. However, I've separately ordered the matching rear speakers 9250s, which transform the system into a 5 channel one. And that made a difference of night and day. Its a must have combination especially if you enjoy dolby atmos or dts X content or simply surround sound for movies/show. Good entry level in the premium soundstage. Connectivity is flawless. Follow the instructions and voila. You'll forget about it once its set up. I wish I had taken the Q800F instead for additional channels but I am satisfied with my purchase.

I know that until recently, it's something I've taken for granted. I've had setups that I thought were great in regards to home theater audio, but listening to the Q Series Soundbar + Subwoofer is a completely different experience altogether. The highs are so crisp and clean. The lows are deep, rich, and smooth. It goes beyond just sounding great, you feel it in your bones. It is an experience. This may be a bit of a reach, but It's sort of like the feeling I imagine someone who's been blind for their entire life might feel when seeing color for the first time. The sound is exquisite, and the quality is just something I can't imagine anything else being able to match, let alone surpass. This is the pinnacle of home audio, as good as it gets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Attempted to connect another source in addition to the tv. Connected an optical cord and an HDMI cable. It doesn't like two audio sources apparently. If the bar is left on when the TV is turned on often the audio is out of sync with the picture. The only way I found to stop this was turn the TV on and off a few times while the bar was on. I sometimes have this problem with the QS730D bar in my hone office connected to a QN65 as well.

The sound and everything is fine. But it’s sold as a wireless product, that you dont need a wire running into the tv,!and that’s extremely misleading because if you want to use any of it’s fancy features you need an HDMi cable running from the bar into the tv. This is because it doesn’t come with wifi. The only wireless aspect is that you dont have to plug the woofer into bar. You also cant add the speaker to the smart things app

I really like the sound clarity and has decent bass. The integration with my tv is seamless, but occasionally the sound bar turns off or no sound comes out when I leave my TV on for a few hours for my dogs and nobody is actually using the tv by switching between shows. One added feature is you can use the Q Symphony feature with the sound bar. If you haven’t tried the Q Symphony option you really should, it’s great. I I also added the Samsung SWA 9200S rear surround speakers for even more improvement. Highly recommend the purchase.

That was easy to do as it came with a wall mount template. Subwoofer gives more depth to the sound. Setup was fairly easy, tho instructions could do with a bit more detail regarding setting etc. Overall we are happy with purchase, movies are more exciting now - it’s like you’re at the cinema.

I bought this sound bar 3 months ago, and I prefer to try products for a bit before giving my opinion. The set up was quite easy, though it took a couple of days of tweaking to find the right settings for the living room. The sound is very immersive especially while watching movies, which is surprising, considering the size of the soundbar and subwoofer. A very minor down is the weight of the soundbar.

The voices are clear and pronounced. With music, the volume is set well with most all versions of music and didn't drown out other aspects of the music when it comes to high and low tones. I ordered this because I couldn't get enough bass out of my cheaper Bluetooth Samsung soundbar/subwoofer plus the audio quality was subpar. This is paired with a Samsung crystal 4K UHD 85" TV I just bought. This one is much better however I still can't seem to get any bass out of the subwoofer and none of the troubleshooting seems to help, it seems like it's not even there (yes it's plugged in and paired, and I can feel a tiny bit of bass from it if I listen really close to it). I can barely detect any bass out of the subwoofer even though it's set all the way up to 6. Also the Samsung TV remote used to be able to control the sound bar volume but it just stopped working - need to use the sound bar remote now for volume (yes, batteries are fine), the TV remote just has a message pop up on the screen using the TV remote for volume, but doesn't adjust it up and down anymore, not sure what's going on

Produit facilement instalable. La barre de son est tout même imposante sur meuble face à une tu ayant des pieds en biseaux. Le son est bon cependant selon l’opérateur celui-ci peut être moins efficace. J’avais un home cinéma depuis plus de 10 ans et la qualité était tout de même meilleure. Je ne regrette pas mon achat pour autant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sound bar has replaced my Jbl 2.1 system which failed to turn on after 7years of service. Don’t get me wrong that soundbar was a ripper and as a comparison here’s some things regarding why I chose to mark this as 4 star: 1. The LED interface is tiny! 2. The subwoofer is front facing requiring a fabric lining which collects dusts something fierce from past experiences (the jbl was a solid wood design and downwards facing speaker which was much cleaner and thumped nicely) 3. The sub only has a small range of adjustment (+6) 4. The sticker on the bar could’ve been put underneath instead of on the top of the speaker and can leave sticky residue if pulled off. Other than that, the build quality is solid as expected by Samsung and the audio is rich and satisfying. The last thing to note is that pairing your phone via Bluetooth is seamless (press Bluetooth on the remote and check for Bluetooth devices to pair with on your phone). In the past that has been a hassle with other products

The remote only controls the volume, nothing else. Ive done numerous factory resets, nothing changed. Ive watched the setup numerous times, I know it's setup correct. The subwoofer has no sound either. Samsung troubleshooting steps don't work. Buy another brand.

You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND MODE button to select the desired pre-equalized sound setting. The choices are SURROUND SOUND – GAME – ADAPTIVE SOUND – DTS VIRTUAL:X – STANDARD. To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, press the TONE CONTROL button and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons. Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.) Press the CH LEVEL button so you can adjust the volume of each speaker. CENTER LEVEL or TOP LEVEL can be adjusted using the UP/DOWN buttons from -6 to +6. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. We had a tiny issue which required us to unplug and replug everytime it happens. The Q symphony option is so good and well synced even if you use bluetooth as output option.

Hello Alipro, Thank you for taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-Q600F Soundbar. Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. When an update is available, you can update the Soundbar by connecting the USB drive that contains the update firmware to the SERVICE port of the Soundbar. 1.Go to the Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper right corner. 2.Click on “Manuals & Software” from the pop-up list > TVs & Home Theater > Home Theater > Select your model 2. Download the firmware file (USB type). 3. Unzip the file to create a folder with the file name. 4. Store the created folder in a USB and then connect it to the Soundbar. 5. A sequence of “UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON” will appear on the display 3 times. This will take around 6 minutes. - During update, do not turn it off or remove the USB. - If “UPDATE” does not appear on the display window, remove the power cord from the Soundbar and then reconnect it. - When the latest Version is installed, no update is performed. - Depending on the USB type, update may not be supported. 6. After the 3 cycles are complete, the Soundbar will restart and last source used will appear on the display for about 20 seconds and then it will go off (“UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON”) 3 times “D.IN” > off If you are still experiencing this issue please contact Samsung Support so we can provide further troubleshooting to resolve this issue. . The dedicated 3.1.2-channel setup, up-firing speakers, and support for Dolby Atmos / DTS Virtual:X give movies and shows a much bigger, more immersive sound than you’d expect from a mid-range bar. Samsung also lists features like Q-Symphony and Adaptive Sound, which are nice bonuses if you’re already in the Samsung ecosystem. The wireless subwoofer adds solid bass and helps action scenes, music, and games feel more full and dynamic. Dialogue is also clearer than with built-in TV audio, which is a big win for everyday watching. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because while it sounds very good for the money, it’s still not quite the same as a full dedicated surround system. Like most soundbars, room layout and placement matter, and the Atmos effect can vary depending on your setup. Still, for a relatively simple all-in-one upgrade, it delivers strong performance, easy setup, and a noticeably better home theater experience.

Please know, the maximum wireless signal distance between the soundbar and subwoofer is about 33 feet.
