WindFree Cooling

Stay cool without feeling cold draft using WindFree Cooling. An advanced air flow structure gently and evenly disperses air through 23,000 micro air holes covering the entire front panel. It creates a “Still Air” environment22 with a very low air speed, so there is no unpleasant feeling of cold wind.

Energy saving WindFree

Save energy and still stay comfortably cool. WindFree mode reduces unnecessary energy consumption, as it doesn’t have to keep blowing powerful blasts of cold air like a Normal cooling operation. So, it consumes 77% less energy than Fast Cooling mode23.

AI Fast & Comfort Cooling

AI analyses indoor and outdoor temperatures, humidity, even room size to automatically activate cooling — tailored to your usage patterns and preferences. Switch to Fast Cooling for instant cooling, WindFree for comfortable cooling and Dry Comfort for cold-free pleasant environment.

Active AI

Optimize your cooling automatically. Active AI Pressure Control⁴ intelligently adjusts the refrigerant condensing pressure, reducing energy use by 15%⁵. When it comes to heating, Active AI Defrost increases the continuous heating time by 40%⁶.

Enter a new era of non-stop comfort and efficiency. The Advanced Flash Injection Compressor provides the world’s largest capacity24. It combines Flash Injection technology with a strengthened Triple Profile Scroll and efficient Optimal Discharge Superheat (DSH) Control technology.

100% Heating Performance at -25°C

Get hot water all year round. Experience 100% heating performance in temperatures as low as -25°C²⁵. An enlarged heat exchanger transfers more heat at once and a new Scroll Compressor compresses refrigerant at higher pressure for the system to work reliably in the coldest conditions.²⁶

Booster Fan

An innovative Booster Fan enables cool air to be expelled at much lower angles. It creates a low pressure area around the outlet, so that cool air comes out parallel to the ceiling and disperses across a wider area.

Bladeless design

A bladeless design softly disperses cool air across the room, making you comfortably cool without feeling a cold draft27. With no blades to block the air flow, it also expels 25% more air28 and spreads it farther.

Results provided to and interpreted by Intertek, comparing the power consumption between AI energy mode on and off in AI comfort mode of AR07D9181HZN model. Actual savings may vary by usage patterns and environment and the set temperature may increase by up to 2 degrees. Requires the use of the SmartThings app and a Samsung account.
