Switch from Android to Galaxy

Conveniently send Watch data to your new phone
With Smart Switch, you can transfer your Watch data to a new phone and conveniently disconnect from the old one. Watch data will be restored while it is being connected to the new device.

Switch from iPhone/iPad to Galaxy
You can move photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, notes and more from your iPhone or iPad to Galaxy.
You can even bring your data from iCloud.
Step 1 : Connect
Connect your new Galaxy phone to your old device with a cable.
To transfer data, confirm your new Galaxy as a trusted device. When the "Trust This Computer?" alert appears on your iPhone or iPad, tap "Trust".

Step 2 : Select
Choose the data you want to bring over from your old device and then tap "Import".

Step 4 : Transfer more
Leave something behind? Tap “Get your iCloud data” and then sign into your iCloud account. Choose the content you want to transfer and tap “Import”.

Transfer your WhatsApp history to
your new Samsung Galaxy
For the first time on any Android device, you can now transfer your WhatsApp chats and photos on your iOS device to your new Galaxy. With just a USB C-Lightning cable, your WhatsApp data is quickly and securely migrated so that you can seamlessly pick up on ongoing chats without worrying about any missing data or additional cloud uploads.
How to migrate your WhatsApp data to your Samsung Galaxy
As simple as it is intuitive, migrating your WhatsApp data just takes two steps. First, connect your iOS device to your new Samsung Galaxy with Smart Switch using a USB-C Lightning cable, then simply begin importing data after verifying the QR code.

If you do not have the required USB cable/connector for a wired transfer to Galaxy, you can also use wireless transfer options. Open Smart Switch Mobile in “Settings” on your new Galaxy phone or download Smart Switch for PC/Mac.
