why do i get an error when signing into my samsung account
Sign-in errors on Samsung account are usually caused by incorrect date and time, outdated software, or network issues. Checking these settings often resolves the problem quickly.
If you cannot sign in, first check to make sure your Android™ version and Samsung account version is up to date.
Check the Samsung Account status website. Sometimes, sign-in problems can be caused by temporary system issues.
Please check your spam folder if you can't find the Samsung-sent verification email. The following procedures can be used to get another verification email if you're still having trouble finding it:
- Get a second confirmation email on your phone or tablet: Open Settings, then select Accounts and backup from the menu. After selecting Manage accounts, select Add account. Choose Samsung Account, then enter your login information. A fresh email will be sent to your linked email address if you want to resend the verification email.
- Receive another verification email via website: Navigate to and open the Samsung account website. Sign in using your account credentials and select Resend the verification email. A new email will be sent to your associated email address.
Make sure you have a reliable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection and that the number is not blacklisted on your device if you are not receiving a verification code through text message.
